For those of you who dont understand the video, basically the girl is in love with a man who only comes at night to have physical relations with her and then goes away. She knows that he is only using her but she is powerless against him and wishes that the night will never end. The party scene is where she is enjoying her life but a glance of the man captivates her and she looses herself to go after him. The naked people represent a physical relation between the two. At the end of the video we can see that she is sad when the morning comes and the man will now go away. at last we see that the sleeping man is the masked man.

This song was used for a Knight Rider episode just when it was released for the first time in 1984, I love that episode because at the time the song was new, now is a classic, but when the episode was released for first time in 1984 the song was completely new. The Episode is 3x05, Episode 5 of 3rd season. Which was also a tribute to Hitchcock movies.

It gave me chills up my back when I saw that she passed in her sleep of a previously undiagnosed aneurysm at 52 on August 26, 2004...I truly don't believe that's a coincidence.. My Daddy brought me here to show me that his favorite artist also passed on the day he did... RIP MY precious Daddy and Laura..

They played this on the car radio while I was driving home from my GF. The nostalgia of playing GTA Vice City when I was 10-11 years old hit me so hard. It’s been such a long time. From listening to this song while driving in a game, to finally be able to listen to those songs when driving in real life tells you how much time has passed and how as humans we grow with age. Love it.

Because each generation is stupider than the last, they get raised by limp wristed parent with no good taste.
Back in the early 90’s, the record companies decided to stop supporting this kind of melodic Pop/Rock music and put almost all the emphasis on Grunge and Rap. We still have Pop today, of course, but it rarely has the hook and originality that this song does. It just seems that songwriters and producers today struggle to make memorable hits.
