@ryankraft5174 That's cool, I want to go to MI and fish sometime soon. Thanks for watching, and don't forget to like, share, and subscribe to help out my channel if you would 😊
The perch definitely have scouts higher up in the water column that watch you grab that water bottle. Anytime I look at my phone or go to rig up another rod they know 😂
Very nice channel, no nonsense is how I like it! That was a double rig set up with 2 hair jigs? And is that a regular spot that you had marked previously or did you have to go find them? Good job btw
@michaelb2186 Thanks bro! That is a perch fly rig, basically what you said. When I was going out the day before, I was going out towards the cans based on the recommendation from one of the tackle stores called Hi-Way bait and tackle. On my way out, I stopped short because the sonar screen was lit up on the bottom in 21 fow. Turned out to be a good area. Thanks again, and please like, share, and subscribe to help out my channel if you would
@chrisdyer2431 Hey bro, thanks for watching! I use a 6'10" rod, med to med light power, and fast to extra fast action. The rod I use is more fast in action, even though it's supposed to be extra fast. It has a nice bend down into the blank, but still has enough backbone to land the occasional sheepshead....lol. The reel is a 2500, and 8lb test braid, but 10lb test would be good too. Thanks again, and don't forget to like, share, subscribe! 😊
@randymiller5008 😆lol, I absolutely don't know how people use a right handed baitcaster, but then they reel with their left hand with a spinning. I do write and throw a ball left handed though
Great video welcome to Erie .👍
I’m so jealous!! We don’t have perch here in KS but I’ve chased them every year when I vacation in MI found them a couple times!

The walleye are still in 65 to 70 feet deep in central basin

@@michaelb2186 your welcome 👍
What kind of set up do you use? Line size and rod size and action?
