I love the look of the Polaris Ranger but wish they would put the 1000xp or 1000xp Turbo in them. For all those that are going to say it is a 1000xp well, yes it is but it is a detuned 1000xp. The 2019 Polaris RZR XP1000 has 110hp, the 2019 Polaris Ranger XP1000 has 82hp. Then you have the 2019 Polaris RZR XP1000 Turbo which has 178hp, which they don't offer in the Ranger line up.
We trail ride NC/SC/WV. I like to take a break & watch the mud hole guys doing their thing; might have to find a 4-5 year old Ranger & build a dedicated nasty mud machine. Would have liked to hear the motors ripping vs music. Good job!
I have toyota axle under a ranger and put a civic vtech in it and im running 35 mt. Next im using a nissan rouge transaxle and engine and drive shafts and rearend im putting that in a rzr with its suspension.
How was the drivability of the general after portals. I Mud ride but also trails ride a lot to in between holes. I want lift and tires not sure if I should go portals route tho don’t want to loose trail riding.

PhukDup MudClub Thanks man !! I’ve been meaning to film more but our last trip was so wet and rainy it was hard to bring the camera out . We got some rides planned soon ! Planning on hitting up trucks gone wild in butler Georgia! We got some guys with us running 46s !
Charlie Stabler Yes he also has a super atv leveling kit , Super atv forward boxed A Arms .. a 36 is all you will clear on this setup without hacking up your plastics .. He just ordered a 5” Catvos lift for it so the plan is to have it on 40s ... we haven’t posted in a while bc we got all our Riggs tore down getting work done ! Will have updates soon !

David Membrila They haven’t had issues with them but these rigs aren’t stock in the suspension / steering components at all . Both a running boxed a arms up front with big uni-ball ball joints , HD tie rods , Frame braces and heavy duty steering racks . Portals are awesome but they find the weak points in your suspension and steering .
Ant Allred That’s my buddies ranger . But it’s a custom lucky 13 fabrication roof .. The speakers over his head are all fiberglassed in with an iPad in the roof also .
erica hooten Depends on what size you plan on running 32s and below I would run the intimidators everything bigger than a 32 definitely run the terminators .
Music absolutely destroyed the video. People need to seriously quit putting music in these kinds of videos. We want to hear the machine. If we wanted to listen to music, we'd turn on the radio.
Terminator tires suck ass so does that general. My honda pioneer with 6 inch lift 6 inch portals and internal gear reduction total 57 percent reduction and 34 in outlaws is way way better. Plus my ecu flash and snorkel k and n exhaust im making 90hp and guess what i never break anything unlike poolaris

john martin A ECU flash will change that . But the turbo 1000 and 1000 xp are two entirely different engines all together.
Southern Ties SxS ecu flash will not make it 110 hp idiot
Check out gilomen innovations the have a 118hp kit for the 1000 rangers

Do you have a suspension lift on this with the portals?
The General, beside the portals is there a lift? And do you think you could fit bigger than 36s on it the way it sits now? Any drawbacks?

Charlie Stabler Add a bracket lift to the 8” portals and you can probably clear the 40s if you wanted to .
