      Actually not at all. Nowadays players are obssesed with accuracy and best moves. Thats why there are more draws than ever, it is just impossible to find all the best moves for not cheating humans. Atleast on a constant level.

    This game broke Ian mentally, Made Magnus demotivated never to defend his title and thanks to Stokfish, shows us that modern chess needs shortened time controls due to all the pre-rehearsed book stuff even if it means some weaker moves in play.
    Lets face it...White is in zugzwang from move 1.

    • @klevialushi571
      @klevialushi571 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes, and if we agree with you we should stop playing chess, since what's the point of playing in zugzwang?!

      @@leonardocontreras9690 960 only delays the problem. In a few years, 960 would be as solved as normal chess, it would just require even more memorization.
      Lower time control also only delays the problem. It'll be a few years, but a different breed of players would emerge. Instead of big brain memorization being the meta, it would be big brain calculation. We'd have similar games, they'd just be played much faster. Either that, or chess would become even more boring, as players would almost always play for a draw due to not having the time to make correct moves.
      Edit: My suggestion to solve the problem would be to change the scoring so that a draw doesn't mean equal points for both sides. Top level chess should be scored against a computer, and whoever consistently played the better moves, according to an engine, should be the winner in the case of a draw. It would incentivise perfect play, and make the games more interesting.

    • @leonardocontreras9690
      @leonardocontreras9690 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@ricolorenz7307 I think it's impossible to memorize the theory for 960 different positions.... No one could do that, not even Magnus. Besides, there would be no opening preparation for the game... Also, chess isn't solved, and would probably never be, a few drawish lines don't mean it's solved. Chess is infinite

We are mortal but after the first resurrection (at the end of the age), the Saints put on immortality. "Do you not know that we (the saved and redeemed) shall judge angels?" (1 Cor. 6:3) There is no reason why chess cannot be played in Heaven.
