About the idols doing things off-camera and on-camera one. I agree and disagree. Yes, they are individual humans with lives that fans will never truly understand. They can do whatever they want to do because fans should not dictate how an idol acts in their everyday life (and even on camera/around fans). So yes, I don't really care about what idols do off-camera to an extent. But I do like to only stan people and groups that I know/feel are good people. I know it is hard to know if an idol is a good or bad person seeing as a lot of content fans get is only on-camera/in front of fans type content. But I do care if the idol/group I stan are humble, kind, good people as I only want to support kind people who aren't committing crimes/being mean/not a nice person overall. So I guess, Agree and disagree but for the stuff you said about it in the video, yes I do not care what idols do as long as they are good people at heart.
In fact her point is that you shouldn't act like you know your idol and like they're your friend or anything, yet what you're talking about is thinking idols are good persons. There's a difference between fans complaining about idols hiding things from fans that you should say to people you are close to and fans not supporting people they don't feel like good persons. I just wanted to clear this up cuz i feel like you didn't understand it fully, i 100% agree with what you're saying, sometimes you see people in the street and just don't want to be their friend and it goes the same way for idols.
Yes! Finally someone who appreciates the cohesiveness of an album. I don't hate non-cohesive albums. I just much rather listen to an album that has a theme or message throughout it that binds the songs together and makes the album make sense as a whole. I think Got7 is a great example of this. Each album always has a certain sound/vibe to it that keeps each album distinct from the next, which makes easy to listen to the album from the first track to the last without being thrown off by mismatched songs.
Yep agree and what I don't like in many albums is how just after a soft ballad, they will hit you with this hard edm or straight up fire raps, if you want to add versatility are atleast let it flow well an example that I will give is an ode, it goes from '247' a really soft ballad type song, then "second life" still has soft vocals but has more beat to it ,then "network love" has more of an electronic beat and then 'back it up', hits with bam, full on firey raps, if you want to add versatility add it in smooth escalating way.
I agree. A good example or versatility while keeping the cohesivness is Dystopia: The Tree Of Language by Dreamcatcher. The songs are pretty different from each other yet they match each other well, none feels outt of place
In my case, it is important for me that coherence is in the message of the album and not so much in the musical genres. For example MOTS: 7, the boys have different musical tastes and solos are personal songs, so it is normal that there is not a coherence in the genres but in the message.
@@magaliscarsi I totally understand that. Solo songs should fit the members, but I just love when 3 to 5 song albums with no solo songs are coherent in musical genre. Of course, I don't hate it when its not, there is just something special about a musically similar album.
Kayla Sims 3 years is pushing it. I think two is the max as one year goes by VERY quickly, expecially for really popular rookies. Basically it’s a mix of popularity and time. I think the time cut off is 2 years, but you can just tell when they shake of the label of “rookie” when they achieve something big in their career. Even tho a lot of 4th gen groups are considered monster rookies cuz they seem better than some people who’ve been the industry for YEARS. Back to my original point, 3 years is too much to be considered a rookie.
@@kxbentertainment665 That’s why you bow?? How is that relayed ;-; I’m confused. If 3 years is the actual fact, then I’d love to know but can you provide any sources since I don’t know if it’s true or not, I’ve never heard it from anyone else.
Interesting point on what it means to be a rookie. I have always thought of rookie as a term for both experience and popularity. For me being a rookie usually only lasts for two years in my opinion. After two years, all groups no matter how bad the company is with promotions, should have had the time to get enough experience to not be a rookie anymore. That being said, any super unpopular group like Elris (Don't know too much about their promotions but I assume they havent had too good of promotions) and 24K (still sad what happened to 24K, such an unfortunate situation for such talented boys to get stuck in) who have been around for a while with very little promotions and experience due to whatever circumstances would still be considered rookies to me as they have not been given the proper experience to truly drop the rookie label. So generally, I would say two years is the cut off, but in some circumstances, such as being under a small/poor company and unexpected issues that hinder the career for a bit, the rookie term still applies. This being said, dreamcatcher was not rookies when they went on that show as quote unquote rookies because they were 5 or so years into their careers and they had redebuted as Dreamcatcher so they have had plenty of experience before even being called Dreamcatcher. Side note- I do think 24K was able to shake off the label after maybe 4 or 5 years but they debuted in 2012 and were still stuck with little promotions for awhile until Superfly came out (which was in 2016/4 years into their careers)
i guess this is not unpopular but hate in any way or form is wrong and it won't solve any thing. When all the AOA was being stated I saw people saying that Jimin deserved the hate... and well maybe she did, but it doesn't mean is right to her. They were trying to make social justice by bulling someone's bully
1) Agreed 2) Agreed girl crush doesn’t make u more or less like a feminist 3) Disagree i want my favs to be successful and having a big fandom helps 4) If an idol is effecting someone life in a negative way then u should know so you know who to and who to not stan and also people matter over Kpop 5) Disagree it doesn’t necessarily need a theme 6) Agreed 7) Lol i thought itzy were rookies but i am so confused 8) Disagree it makes u hyped up for the album
I’ll comment again if you enjoyed my last one haha 😂 love ya 1) Agree every group has its own sound and I don’t see a issue with it even if I’m not a fan of this myself 2) Agree even if I like girl crush. But I’m not a feminist myself so I don’t care how empowering a song is tbh 3) I don’t know since having a big or small fandoms don’t really bother me so no opinion 4) Agree it’s up to them. I’m not gonna tell someone what to do but if they bully then I’m sorry but I can’t stan them. That’s why I unstanned Jimin from AOA 5) Agree to an extent it’s good when there’s a theme or concept but it’s not a big issue to me 6) Agree if the song is good then it’s good. I don’t care if it’s unoriginal. If I like it then I like it 7) Agree I never though about being labelled a rookie until a few months ago. I don’t think Stray Kids are rookies anymore even if others call them that 8) Disagree especially with Blackpink because they needed a comeback big time weither it was a pre release or not
OMG! NUMBER 1!! I just got into a conversation about this. I completely agree, it's totally fine for a group to make similar music. Some do, some don't and there are fans that appreciate one, the other, or both. So it's all good. No need to justify your group having a signature sound and sticking to it. They're making money, that's all you gotta say. The small fandom one, I get it but I never wish for small ones because it's kinda wishing against the group's fame. Some of these groups have big ambitions and a large fandom is needed to a achieve them.
i think for idols dating it's so unfortunate but it seems like they just have to wait until their fanbase has matured to announce that theyre dating someone. otherwise fans backlash is so disgusting. you can see it in how differently elfs reacted to heechul dating momo over how onces reacted. also when changmin announced his marriage, there was huge outpouring of love, but when chen announced his marriage people wanted him out of exo. i can't stand this childish mentality but i guess younger fans just feel more possessive.
The fact that he had to apologize for literally getting married and having a kid is just so sad. And even them people said he wasn’t being sincere?? Like what? Maybe because he had nothing to be sorry about in the first place.
In my opinion, the one that should be blame in this case is media. The last time i checked (which is few days ago) "scandal" means a person who conduct damage to morality and i did not see what kind of damage do the couple in kpop industry did. they are just two people who fancy each other. So, i cannot understand why is it called as scandal. Just because the fans outrage because they think kpop idol broke the rule of not having bf or gf it doesn't mean that it is a scandal. Fans need to grow up. They are not a doll and media should call "scandal" a quit because they just normalizing "dating" as "scandal" to the fans. MAYBE I MEANT IT.. MAYBE THEY FORGET THE MEANING OF WHAT IS A SINGER. Call me old fashion but singerd used to be idolised because they presents the stories that has values and give a good message through lyrics and that sets the example for the listeners. Now the listeners just support n focus on idol for face, fashion not talents in music. The fans did not care for the real arts the idol displayed.
about the 97 line, they didn’t even go to the club. The k media exagerated it cause they had problems in their politics & they needed something big to cover up that problem. Idol scandals usually coincidentally appeare when the country has a problem & don’t want other countries to know. Like the Rosé & Chanyeol Dating rumors, this was just made up so they can cover up what happened to their company🤡 (I hope you guys undertood what i said cause English isn’t my first language😅)
I'm late to this video, but thank you so much for making that point girl crush being feminism. The one thing that's always rubbed me the wrong way with reaction videos is that the girl crush concepts are ALWAYS hyped up as something revolutionary, unique and sometimes even 'pushing gender boundaries', while cuter/elegant/sexy concepts are looked down upon. I think it's a matter of people not realising that they just like that style of music more, because in the west, that is what people think is 'strong', when it really isn't.
I totally agree that albums should sound cohesive. I can only talk about groups I follow so here it goes BTS have been guilty of this in the past few years. I'm not 100% since I found them in 2016 3 yrs into their career but for me their WINGS album was the first one to have member specific songs. I think it was a good idea because it really pushed the members individually within the group and also helped me see who I liked more based of music style. And although not all the songs go together perfectly they did market each song into their mv storyline and the videos were all in the same style so to me the album itself felt more cohesive then it really was. As an army caught onto the fact the bighit was doing this so that the album was more concert friendly because soon after the album released they went on their us tour and since the album and tour were such a big hit they kept going with the member solo songs. I think for the love yourself series it since they had like a three part series by the end aloe of the songs didn't go well as an album but more just a good list of songs to tour with. Then finally we get to their MOTS7 album. Now this album is the main reason I had these thoughts about bts albums. I couldn't really love listening to the album as a whole I like most of the songs individually but they felt so out of place for each other. And I know like the love yourself series they were going straight to tour with the album and I know I would have loved to hear them live but as an album it really discouraged me to even listen to the songs I liked of the album. After that I was really worried BTS would only make albums for touring but then when plans changed bts finally got to have a real pause and I think BE was a chance for them to change things up and I hope they continue to make albums for just the listening aspect as well. Idk if im asking too much of the boys but I know they can make better albums so I guess I'm just holding them up to higher standards. Also I know the members like to work on their own projects as well and sometimes it blends into their group albums. Idk where I'm going with this anymore. Idk why I feel like ranting under you videos just ignore this. I just like spilling all my real thoughts here I guess. I love your honest opinions and really helps me put my thoughts into perspective so thank you. Stay safe and keep up your great work!
i totally agree with the rookies part, when i watch me vs my sub vids and the topic “fav rookie group” comes up, it’s a 4th gen group that’s over a yr old??
i agree w/ girl crush is not feminism. like, just my opinion, because of that, even in real life people always think bad girl=feminism, bad girl=strong girl. and when artist/singer do something (not girl crush concept) people will say. oh youre not baddas enough/strong enough to be a feminism.
omg I completely agree about the fandom size one!! i'm not one to participate in fan culture anyways but i think this is part of the reason. having a smaller fandom usually means that people who stan them are actually there because they LIKE the group. like, being a popular group is great, but they can also attract bandwagons, or a lot of antis and it becomes exhausting. i always feel bad everytime i say that i don't want my faves to get bigger (and trust me, they already are), cause i feel like i'm holding them back but at the same time they already have a big fandom and are acknowledged by non stans anyway? so idk i always get stressed when people almost PRESSES others to stan cause i feel like that's just welcoming more toxicity as well as fandom divide? idk how to explain
Generally, a group is considered a rookie group by most fans up until 2 years after their debut. Also I’m pretty sure repackages exist to increase album sales? I might be wrong but I don’t think it’s just for the sake of having a comeback
While I agree that idol’s private lives stay private; I personally don’t agree that you should have compared the 97 line “scandal” to the Jimin and Mina situation. They are two very different situations. Most k-pop stans agree that the 97 line “scandal” should have never been a scandal, and only happened bc the 97 liners were celebrities.
About the rookie thingy it really depends, i mean idle is almost 3 years but in their recent interview they said that they were rookies and were honored to be nominated as a rookie group. TWICE were rookies for almost 3 years, snsd was a rookie for 2 years same with RV so it depends tbh it seems to be like When u made ur big hit u aren’t a rookie anymore.
1) agreed. Everglow got hate for their songs Adios and Dun Dun sound the same. While their simularities aren't even that extreme, for EDM standards that's barely the same genre. Though i do think that Boom Boom and Baam sound the same to a level you can hear Baam was a song trying to reproduce the succes of Boom Boom. though i don't really understand why it's bad. It indeed shows that the producer was trying harder to make money then he was to be creative but if both songs sound good, what's the problem? 4) i agree. especially on the dating part. if people are saying ''i hate how (this idol) didn't tell me his/her relationship, she lied to me!'' I'm always like ''she can lie to you whatever he/she wants. it's the idol's own live and you are not his/her friend. you are just a fan, that's it.
9:30 I think it depends on how many things those idols have done that first year they debuted. If during that year they've done quite a few things, yeah you can say they aren't rookie anymore, since they've had experience. However, if they have only had say, one comeback with not that much production, then I don't think it's fair to compare them to other groups debuted that same year who have had tons of experience as "not rookies anymore".
I think the reason why girl crush is associated with feminism is because those groups target a female audience while groups like twice have a larger (older) male audience which can be seen as anti feminism because they are targeting a male audience
this is so late but i just wanna say...i literally had to watch this video 3 times bc the feeling when u can relate to someones opinion is just mmm *chefs kiss*
I BELIEVE THAT PLAYING WITH THE SAME SONG IN DIFFERENT WAYS IS CREATIVE IF IDOLS GIVE US SIMILAR SONGS THEN JUST THINK THAT THEY'RE PLAYING DIFFERENT SONGS THE SAME GUITAR
1) Agree, if a group wants to make music that's all the same, that's fine because it works for them, if it didn't they obviously wouldn't be making the same kind of songs over and over. Of course change is nice every now and then but it shouldn't be such a necessity 2) AGREE feminism is so much more than just a badass song and I'm really glad you pointed out. Also yes, there are so much more concepts than just cute and girl crush and that should be pointed out more too 3) Agree, most of the groups I stan are like this. Obviously they're all growing with especially skz, ateez and itzy getting so big, but that's good for them too. But having a tight knit fandom is also really nice and it is a big part of the nice experience of stanning that group. 4) Agree, but to some extent; I definitely think the privacy of idols should be respected more and that not everything should immediately be seen as a scandal and a whole fuss being started about it. But if an idol does something that's really wrong like your example if they're a serial killer, then for me that crosses a line. As long as the idols are respectful people off camera I couldn't care less what they did in their private life 5) Agree, well, mostly. A cohesive album in my opinion is always better than something randomly thrown together, but if at least all the songs themselves are good, it'll still get a pass from me. But yeah, I think repackages are pretty weird too. 6) Agree. I don't really have much to add to this, you basically spoke my mind uwu 7) Agree. Tbh at first I actually thought that was how it worked, so when I saw lots of people talking about ateez being a rookie even after their one year anniversary I was pretty confused. So yeah, everyone, please stop calling groups over a year old rookies, thank you ^^ 8) Agree, I don't really get what the companies mean with "it won't get as much promotion as an actual album" when they actually do put just as much promotion in the singles. It doesn't make sense. Also I find that it takes away part of the experience of listing to the album for the first time, because in that case you'll have already heard half of the songs due to all the pre-releases I know I literally agreed with you on basically everything, and even though it would be more interesting if I disagreed I found it quite hard with these opinions lol. Thanks for the vid, and I hope anyone who took their time reading this has a great day :>
I agree with the kpop album sounds like mess because certain groups albums you can’t play through, like it would be trash on a vinyl, honestly this is why I like Twice and Red velvet and Cix and Dreamcatcher because their album fix the eras as well, if you like Signal by twice you will love the album, I think that’s how all albums should be and usually are
1 and 6) agree. I think this is good bcs they kno what their fans like already so they stick to that and make a similar song which makes a ton of sense. 2) agree. this is sooo important. stereotyping feminism as 'bad ass' and 'girl crush' is actually so toxic. girl crush is not feminism. 3) agree and disagree. tbh huge fandom groups r rlly annoying bcs everyone keeps mentioning them in non kpop related videos which makes no sense and honestly gets super annoying but also obviously everyone wants their faves groups to be well recognised and do well so they don't have to disband. 4) agree. their private life is their private life. obsessed fans need to stop getting so annoyed when they find out their fave idols r in a relationship. like when that whole Jennie dating Kai thing came out. It has actually come to the point were entertainment companies prohibit their idols to date anyone... it's so sad and just an invasion of someones privacy and literally fans complain about enetertainmnet companies doing that such as YG but then they literally go do it themselves. 5) agree. this is too true i think an album needs to stick to an actual theme otherwise it makes no sense. 7) agree. being a rookie means u don't have experience but ppl always turn to Dreamcatcher like they r obviously experienced cuz they all dance and sing amazing just because they are 'underrated' according to fans doesn't mean they r rookies. 8) agree and disagree. Pre release singles r usually so amazing and then when the actual album comes out everyone is disappointed like... u saw it coming how r they supposed to live up to that?? But blackpink actually needs a comeback once a year is not good enough I think all blinks can agree on that. I rlly loved their pre release single for The Album and i thought the actual album would be crap but it wasn't.
1. Agree, I don't really like it if it's too similair like momolands bbam and boom boom but it's no reason to hate on it. 2. Agree, I hate how girl crush concept are hailed as the best concepts. 3. Don't necessary agree or disagree, I'm a Sunday (Saturday fan) but I don't feel closer to other Sundays than to another Midzy. But I get what you mean. 4. Agree but I'm a optimist so I like to think that every idol is honestly a good or average person. 5. I guess I agree but I don't really mind if it's thrown together. 6. Agree, it's fine. 7. Agree but I do personally put the cut-off at 1,5 years. 8. Agree
To be honest i feel like what gg music should be divided for should not be based on girl crush or cute concept. I agree with you totally. I have observed this particularly since i stanned gidle pre debut from one week, some blinks were comparing all over that they're "copying" blackpink's girl crush concept while i saw no similarities, blackpink is like a brand, gorgeous, flashy and fancy while gidle relied on themselves to define themselves. even cube said latata wasn't that good except the gidle members themselves who encouraged soyeon, when it became a stable hit this was when cube started giving them attention. of course I'm not saying both of them didn't work hard, but I'm just saying it one got it on a platter while the other had to think it out for themselves to survive their debut.
1) Agree. When people like things they continue to do that. It makes sense. 2) Respectfully disagree. I don't really get it but ok. 3) Agree. It makes this homely feeling that I really like. 4) Neutral. Mind y'all's business. But also really bad things shouldn't be hidden. 5) I haven't really thought of this before so I'm pretty Neutral. 6) Agree. Same thing as point 1. 7) Agree. Not much more to say. 8) Disagree. I think it's fine.
1) Agreed, I'm perfectly fine with groups making songs that sound similar 2)AGREED. Girl.crush.is.not.feminism Also the fact that girl crush and cute are NOT the only concepts out there 3) Agreed, YASS The group being more popular would obviously be better for the group as a whole but the fan culture would become more toxic 4) Agreed, IDOLS ARE HUMANS TOO AND CAN DO WHATEVER THE HELL THEY WANT OFF-CAMERA 5) Disagreed, I don't really care if there is no theme in the album. It doesn't make me hate the songs 6) STRONGLY AGREE, if there is not something "mindblowing" or "original" in a comeback doesn't mean that the song is bad or something 7) Agreed, ITZY IS NOT A ROOKIE GROUP 8) Disagreed, I'm fine with pre-release singles and the culture of it. I don't really mind it
1. agree/disagree.I mean yeah i think its ok but i absolutely hate it. the reason i like kpop is because everything sounds different and theres tons of different sounds you dont get to hear often in western pop. groups like gfriend can do whatever the fuck they want to make money since kpop is a business but if someone asks me if i stan gfriend im gonna say no because theyre music is boring and all sounds the same. 2. period 3. agree but obviously i hope for their success 4. disagree. I dont care what they do in their free time but i would hate to be giving my time and attention to a bad person. i probably already am but if i could know i would want to. i dont care about stupid shit like who they date or doing drugs/clubbing but if theyre a sex offender or bully or racist i would like to know. 5. agreed 6. agree but i personally tend to ignore groups that follow trends 7. agree 8. disagree they fun i just want content
1. They can make what music they want. And some people like those music, so they can enjoy them. It’s just not going to attract much new fans because other people may not enjoy. But do what they want. 2. Exactly. Girl Crush is simply just a type of concept, it doesn’t speak for feminism. I don’t even think people know what it means. The song doesn’t show any of the core values of feminism. It’s just making people feel cool. 3. I don’t mind it. It’s less toxic, and works better together unlike, cough cough blinks. It could be frustrating when the group doesn’t get attention for good songs, but you can enjoy it so that’s what matters. 4. It’s not my business, but I would definitely like to stan someone who’s a good person. I would feel more comfortable supporting them. They’re human, so they will do most things other normal people do. Now they must be allowed to date. 5. I don’t mind much. I think if the song sounds good, I don’t care. Album songs don’t need to match to much to me. Just release songs I enjoy and I’ll be happy. 6. People will always enjoy some regular concepts and songs, so be it. I just hope other groups will strive so more unique sounding songs. But people will enjoy other stuff. 7. I don’t care. Like I really don’t, people put too much emphasis on this. Itzy and Stray Kids are not rookies though, just wanted to say that. They’ve had enough stages and songs to be considered not rookies. 8. I like pre release. It’s just more exciting to me when a song comes out to get me ready. But it has to match the with the album, or else it will make no sense and misleading.
ok so this is really late and u probably won't see it but i just feel like ranting 1) i mean it's obviously fine and giving hate for that is stupid (like much hate) but i just tend to like when groups experiment but as you said sometime's it''s not in their best interest because people end up not liking it (like ice cream) which = less money oop. and just because a group made songs that sound similar doesn't mean that the group is bad (for ex: twice's heartshaker and what is love chorus kind of sound the same to me but both are good enough songs and if groups do change it up from time to time like twice do i won't mind) same with d.4 and ktl like yes they are similar but they're both good songs and blackpink have changed it up 2) exactly feminism litteraly mean womens can fricking chose and limiting feminism to being badass is literally against the point 3) yeah i agree also smaller concerts seem so fun. It also allows a greater conncection between fans and the group which is why i think army and bts have a great conncection as they started small / or stray kids and stays. In comparison blackpink blew up really early so they didn't reakky have time to build a connection with fans which is why i don't really feel connected to them but i still love them with my whole heart 4) I kinda disagree tbh. Like i do care if my idol is a bad person in the grand scheme of things because if i end up having invested time and money into a person who turns out to have done really bad things, ill be kinda mad (like woojin) but i don't care about how they act around their friends and privately in their daily lives because they have the right to have their own life as fricking human beings and that should not be intruded on I guess with dating it's litteraly their choice, if they want to reveal it, i'm totally okey with that because having to hide your something all the time must get so annoying, like u can never realx and stuff, but also not telling ur fans is also fine like they don't have a duty or something to share everything with their fans ffs 5) tbh i disagree, i get where ur coming from but personally if the songs are good i don't mind: for me it makes me want to buy an album more because i can enjoy someting with more variety/moods and it feels more worth it than just 10 songs with the same exact concept, meanings and sound 6) yeh i don't have much to say but yeh nothing wrong with that, if a song is good it's good. however if you give suggestions for people to listen to something more unique i don't see why that's bad if you're not shading others for doing what's popular 7) well for me i don't really consider itzy stray kids or dreamcatcher rookies anymore but i also don't have a big problem with them being considered rookies. As you said, it would make more sense if after 1 year they're not rookies anymore but to me it's not that deep anyways 8) i can't tell if you mean the actual songs are usually bad (which i disagree with cos u can't just label them as bad) but if you mean the idea of one yeh i agree, i don't really like it but at the same time I don't think them promoting it and making a good music video is a bad thing for groups who need it like blackpink lmao. I just wish they executed it well and found a way to actually link it to the next title track sorry this rant was long asf so i hope u enjoyed it if u were bored. the fact that i am motivated to write an enormous paragraph about kpop but will do the bare minimum for school lmao also new subscriber because u seem like an educated kpop stan that's actually opinionated and has good arguments, can't wait for your new videos! Have a good day
1. disagree. when they sound like exact carbon copies of each other it gets slightly boring. but if the songs have similar concepts but have the groups stamp on it (e.g. itzy) than its better. 2. you only spoke facts. 3. honestly it doesn't bother me either way. i don't usually engage with fandoms directly, and will ignore them if i have to lol. 4. agree to an extent. people tend to overreact to things that idols do in their personal lives, but i at least want to feel like i'm stanning a good person. kpop makes it so that you feel like you know your idol, and finding out that that's all a lie would suck (e.g the jimin, mina situation). however i do feel like most idols are them are relatively similar to their on screen persona. and yeah i don't care about dating or anything like that, it's none of my business 5. agree. the whole point of a comeback is to have a certain vibe and if that isn't followed through in the album it's disappointing. 6. agree. conventional music is shown to be popular so why would a group not go with that concept? doesn't mean it's bad, i honestly just see it as marketing 7. Disagree. I think the two year mark makes sense, mostly because I think you need to have at least 2 comebacks to not be a rookie (if we're talking about experience) and that usually happens by like the year and a half mark 8. Agree. Honestly my favourite parts of comebacks is when I love the title track and can listen to the rest of the album (even if it's like two songs) and obviously you can't do that with pre releases. i'd rather wait the extra month or so for a strong comeback and a ton of promotion, than just one song
1) Agree: especially about GFriend. Don’t get me wrong, I like some of their songs, but when I tell you I can’t tell the difference until the chorus of some of their earlier songs, I CANNOT TELL THE DIFFERENCE. it’s not a bad thing, just a fact. 2) And that is on PERIODT. Thank you for saying that. It’s tiring when some people act like girl crush is the epitome of female prowess. Like you said, girls can be cute or a bad B or elegant or all three (and more). There is more to females than cookie cutter personality traits. 3)Neutral; I agree with the tighter community thing, but it’s not my particular preference. It’s not that I don’t like it, but the majority of groups I like have big fandoms or are decently sized so yeah. 4) Agree to an extent; I don’t want to know an idol’s private life. As a fan, some things would be cool to know (like how Hyuna and Dawn post about their relationship and I’m a huge romantic and find it so cute) but it’s not a necessity and I don’t care if they don’t want to share anything about their private life. Being an idol is a JOB and that’s that. Granted, this isn’t just a black and white kinda issue because of certain things that have come out. Like, I think it’s important for things like the Burning Sun situation to be talked about/exposed because idols ARE public figures, regardless of it just being their job. Public figures have influence and people deserve to know if they’ve been involved in something like that. I don’t need to know about mundane aspects of their lives, but something of that scale should be public knowledge. 5) I disagree; I see where you’re coming from and it makes sense, but I just don’t care that much about album cohesiveness. I mean, I think it’s cool when they are cohesive (like Ateez’s albums tell a story and fit a theme) but it’s more of a group to group thing for me if that makes sense 7) Agreed; some people act like each comeback has to be some kind of cultural reset or address social issues to be good, when that’s just not the case. I mean, if that’s how it is for the individual, fine, but a lot of pop songs are about love lmao. Like, get over that please and thanks. Songs can be whimsical or about a trivial concept or anything like that and still be a good song. 8)Disagree; I get your point about the award thing, but I just have a different idea for it. I think two years should be the cutoff - year one is for getting yourself out there and bringing in fans, year two for establishing yourself and seeing if the popularity you gained (if any) stays consistent, and then after that you’re no longer a rookie. But what you said did make sense. 9)Neutral; I don’t really have an opinion on pre releases either way. I just like them or I don’t 😂
About first opinion, particularly kard, they're my ults but because of that kard really changed since debut, at the beginning yes they released oh nana several times but after members started producing concept really changed try and tell me that hola hola, trust me, bomb bomb and gunshot sound the same
i totally agree with this album thing. if the songs aren't connected, for me it's not a good album. for example - i love iz*one's b-sides on heart*iz individually but i think bloom*iz is better 'cause songs have same vibe and fits each other so good. also opinion about feminism is really something important. we should remember what feminism is.
As a buddy, i agree on the fact that Gfriend's music all sound the same. Every group has their own style that makes a music theirs but Gfriend definitely have extremely similar music. Only, they try once a year ( So one comeback out of two ) to do something different since 2018. Sunrise, TFTMN and crossroads sound extremely similar yet Sunny Summer, Fever and apple are gfriend but another side of em. They always do the same yet their music is always different. Anyways, i'm glad they do keep on doing those copy-paste songs cuz it's the songs that i like the most in kpop. People often don't separate on-cam idols and off-cam idols, wich is annoying cuz it often leads them to act like they know who thir idols are. Glad to see you're not one of them. I didn't really think about that rookie thing but in fact you're really right, nothing to say abt it but that i agree.
Normally I consider rookie a group with two years or one year and half, for me is like the first year they are starting to meet the industry and in the half or second one they are adapting to it, depends a lot of their activity
I've been a merry ever since I got into kpop. Momoland introduced me to this whole thing. I know their music sounds the same like bruh haters we're tired of it too. The thing is, they used to have different music. JKK to Bboom Bboom were so different until MLD started milking it so much. I'm not even defending the songs as a merry because the girls are tired of performing the same songs over and over again. Plus TaeSyWoo getting kicked out really pisses me off MLD sucks.
I found that one about off- and on-camera behaviour really interesting. To me it sounded very similar to the "separate the art from the artist" discussion that surrounds many artists that have been known to be N*zis or R*cists. Many can't enjoy for example Wagner (a German composer and an absolute swine, also I'm really sorry for not having a more mainstream example, but I'm sure there are) while some still can. He has created some very impressive music that is still beloved and famous but he himself is widely disliked. The whole situation with Jimin could be very similar in a way. To some people the knowledge of what she did spoils the enjoyment while other are able to separate between her stage persona and the real person. I'm not saying one is right and the other wrong, from what I've seen it's highly individual and is not really a choice but more of a gut feeling. I personally can deal with stuff like that to a certain extent. Like, I can enjoy the music but not the visuals that come along because seeing the face crosses that distinction for me. But I do find it really interesting and I'm glad you actually talked about it instead of blindly putting out hate on the internet, there is far to much of that already
pretty late to the party but the off/on-camera comment sounds like "separating the artist from their work" and I simply cannot agree. Listening to someone's music, streaming their mvs, buying their merch, buying their albums, going to their concert gives them money and visibility. A "bad" person doesn't deserve any of that so in the case of AOA if Jimin's a bully, I won't support her in any way because she doesn't deserve any of our support nor our money. Moreover, being an artist is a job of influence, especially in the K-Pop industry. People don't only listen to singers' music, they also most of the time look up to them. It is a public figure job, and therefore it would be irrelevant in my opinion to only consider singers through their music, seeing how their acts impact their fans and people. However, I agree to the extent that we don't need to know their private life such as dating and stuff...
ummm it’s not loona’s problem cuz you stan the group not fans lmao girls have nothing to do with it international orbits are kpop fandom’s problem only and if someone stanning the group really bothers you well i have some bad news.... upd. by bothers you i meant you don’t want to stan a group because of it not you being done by all those fandom fights
@@whdddd8801 But they are the problem lmao their fans are so annoying there are so many orbits who are like " I might unstan cause this fandom is getting annoying "
Honestly I don't see the issue with copying from one era to the next. If I like a song ill like it in a similar sounding but different concept. Im not a blackpink fan but I totally get where they are coming from complaining they get the same song over and over with nothing new, but groups like mamamoo and momoland always have good side tracks with unique concepts. Just stan groups with more content, stop justifying giving views and money to companies that don't care enough to give their artists more variety
Thanks! I use imovie which is apple's built-in editing app. If you have an apple computer (which is what i use) it is automatically installed, and if you have an iphone you can get the app on the app store, I believe. Unfortunately you can't get it on non-apple devices. Also, when I export the videos I make sure to export in the highest quality available. Hope this helped!
3) Disagree kinda ? idk....I don't stan any "underrated groups" or the ones with smaller fandoms specifically (I'm a stayarmymidzy) and so I quite enjoy seeing the fandom achieve goals with far more ease than if the grp is small I have been a debute midzy and a 2017-2018 army, and although I am also of the opinion that yt views don't matter, I do stream the MV's when they drop if I have time and try to contribute to the goal set by the fandom...I remember as a midzy streaming not shy, the goal was 20 M...but I remember it barely touching 12M and on the other hand dynamite achieved it's goal of 100M with ease and even LGO hit a good 80M when it dropped I know Midzy isn't a small fandom, but as compared to Army is sure is, and these releases were a week apart from each other and it frustrated me to see that the girls weren't getting what they deserved due to the lack of numbers (again clarifying that yt goals DO NOT matter, but it does give an idea of how many people will watch ads for voting or will take out the time to vote when the times comes) and since then I've always found myself enjoying more when I see my faves doing good numbers, which happens to be proportional to the fandom size not to mention that I will NEVER run into another stay ever even tho stay is a fairly big fandom, but running into an army or blink is easy
1. Disagree. I Like for my favourite groups to make a variety of music. It could be the fine for others but not me. 2. Disagree (but Agree a little). I don't think Girl Crush is inherently more feminist, but the big Girl Crush groups DO tend to put a greater emphasis on empowerment and individuality compared to other groups. I haven't seen a "cute" concept group emphasize those things yet, but there's no reason they can't, and maybe with SMNGG we might get that. 3. Disagree. I like a bigger fandom. It doesn't have to be The Biggest, but small fandoms can be awkward. 4. Disagree. I definitely care if they're a serial killer... I don't want to stan a bad or dumb person. 5. Agree. I think this is popular. People like cohesive albums. 6. Agree. Execution is more important than originality. 7. Disagree/Agree. Agree that being a rookie is about experience, not popularity. But Rookie status lasts two years, not just one. Award shows have to limit it to the first year because its not fair to compare rookies that are 1 year old vs 2 years old - but the term in general still applies during the 2nd year. 8. Disagree completely. We were just talking about album cohesiveness, and I prefer quality over quantity. I actually prefer singles coming before the album since it builds up a lot of hype (rather than how we do it in the west with some before and some after). We aren't in the 80s anymore, before the internet, when we had to buy an album to hear it. Now I can hear a whole album legally on YT, so promoting an album months after release like its something brand new seems a bit in efficient, unless there are some really big songs that deserve it.
1) disagree, a group putting out songs that sound the same isn't okay imo, like what is the point of having multiple tracks if they all have to sound the same....that's my biggest problem with iz*one for me and why I can't get into them, all the tracks sound the same, why can't I just keep listening to the same one? 2) Agree...this misconception probably started because blackpink did this concept and they were one of the first girl groups to blow up internationally 3) Disagree, groups success makes everything more enjoyable to me 4) Disagree (1/2) what sets kpop apart is the fact that idols get personal with their fans, or so it seems....so if I find out that someone is something completely different off cam then that changes my perspective of them on cam agree wholeheartedly with idols not revealing who they date and the fact that off cam info shouldn't be available to fans in the first place 5) disagree, each track on the album should be good...not necessarily cohesive but albums is one of btskz's strongest suits and they are my ults, so ig I don't notice how much cohesion matters to me since they always check boxes for this aspect 6) agree 7) agree, but I do have a question once, for eg, enhypen, cross their one year mark...they are no longer rookies, they are however a 4th gen group and so are txt....so do they just fall into the same category after the one year mark or like what, cause obviously their achievements will vary alot 8) SPILL, ABSOLUTELY AGREE pre releases is just company's being skimpy and baiting fans into spending more money on the group than they should have to the fact that it seemed like blackpink did alot this year, when it was only one album total was all because of pre releases
feminism is basically not telling anyone what to do, do whatever you want and it goes for both genders. Telling them girl crush is the best and everyone should do it literally goes against feminism
Okay but like kard's music is really good and it doesn't all sound the same to me Ik that's literally what she said not to say but it just doesn't sound the same to me Like oh NaNa = gunshot? That's a no for me
All Gfriend songs literally sounds different to me. I have no idea how you all think they are all the same but I respect that. I wont beg for support but they really sounds different especially if you know the lyrics/meaning
I saw the same thing on twitter. One of Wonho's die hard fans. I love monsta x n wonho for his craziness . The crackheads. But spamming one's idol group news is just not right. I've been a jktpop fans since i was 9 n now i am 25. I saw how bg n gg struggles to get where they are. But these ignorant people stole the spotlight from them by spamming the comment section by putting someone else's mv is just so sad.
So i comment just like this " with all due respect. This is ace's group and it's choice's (ace fan) comment section. It's their time to shine to please be respectful to the fans. " said it really nice w/o any mean tu hurt her . Then this crazy fans go ALL the way down and almost hack my account and retweet w quote saying that i'm racist just because i said she is too vocal to express her anger. I was like what the.. Can u calm down a bit? .Never in my life as a solo stanner did this to other stanner. I know u maybe upset but u have the choice to said it nicely like any other responders. I will understand it and appreciate it if u say it nicely.
For the on/off camera sides thing, I feel like the term "idol" is unfit. This might seem petty but all I'm saying is, the influence is also a responsibility.
I don't think soo... They are human who came to fulfill their dreams they came to sing and dance not to influence people... If you like them support them but don't control them . Every one has their own personality. I hope u can understand . Thank you ❤️. Just imagine if u was a idol and people tell u to do like they wish.. like talk like this wall like this etc.
Blackpink are empowering, just not female empowerment. empowerment is 'make (someone) stronger and more confident, especially in controlling their life and claiming their rights' Many of their songs (kill this love, How You Like That) give me the 'ik it it hurts but get up and do something about it, your stronger than this' vibe/ message. So its general empowerment in my opinion
As far as not caring what idols do offstage..why would you support someone when they are not good people? That makes no sense. Im not funding your life nor helping you elevate in life if you arent a good person. Alot of your points dont make sense but go off
Wait... there are people who says KARDs songs are all the same? jesus >< for these people, do you really wanna say Red Moon is the same as Go Baby, or Jinikka is the same as Ride on the Wind? .... well.. think about it

Ty!
I don't
Also btw rookies are considered rookies for 2 years then after 2 years they aren't rookies anymore
You mean three
Kayla Sims
3 years is pushing it.
@@delnadavid2589 it’s a thing in Korea for respect that’s why the distance is long respect is really important there that’s why you bow
@@delnadavid2589 I wasn’t saying my opinion I was saying the actual fact

That’s why you bow?? How is that relayed ;-; I’m confused. If 3 years is the actual fact, then I’d love to know but can you provide any sources since I don’t know if it’s true or not, I’ve never heard it from anyone else.
I'm attracted to the music lol I listen to big and small groups
1) Agreed
2) Agreed girl crush doesn’t make u more or less like a feminist
3) Disagree i want my favs to be successful and having a big fandom helps
4) If an idol is effecting someone life in a negative way then u should know so you know who to and who to not stan and also people matter over Kpop
5) Disagree it doesn’t necessarily need a theme
6) Agreed
7) Lol i thought itzy were rookies but i am so confused
8) Disagree it makes u hyped up for the album
Woah this is exactly how I feel too
I’ll comment again if you enjoyed my last one haha 😂 love ya
1) Agree every group has its own sound and I don’t see a issue with it even if I’m not a fan of this myself
2) Agree even if I like girl crush. But I’m not a feminist myself so I don’t care how empowering a song is tbh
3) I don’t know since having a big or small fandoms don’t really bother me so no opinion
4) Agree it’s up to them. I’m not gonna tell someone what to do but if they bully then I’m sorry but I can’t stan them. That’s why I unstanned Jimin from AOA
5) Agree to an extent it’s good when there’s a theme or concept but it’s not a big issue to me
6) Agree if the song is good then it’s good. I don’t care if it’s unoriginal. If I like it then I like it
7) Agree I never though about being labelled a rookie until a few months ago. I don’t think Stray Kids are rookies anymore even if others call them that
8) Disagree especially with Blackpink because they needed a comeback big time weither it was a pre release or not
you changed ur name👀

OMG!
I'm sorry but wich changmin are you talking about?
@@jsuisuneeewok_9009 oh sorry! changmin from tvxq. probably should’ve specified lol

Like the Rosé & Chanyeol Dating rumors, this was just made up so they can cover up what happened to their company🤡
(I hope you guys undertood what i said cause English isn’t my first language😅)
1. I also want to add that if it's the big groups it is "signature sound" but if not it's "repetition." I am sad.
i totally agree with the rookies part, when i watch me vs my sub vids and the topic “fav rookie group” comes up, it’s a 4th gen group that’s over a yr old??
i agree w/ girl crush is not feminism. like, just my opinion, because of that, even in real life people always think bad girl=feminism, bad girl=strong girl.
and when artist/singer do something (not girl crush concept) people will say. oh youre not baddas enough/strong enough to be a feminism.
You really popped off with your feminism opinion!!
omg I completely agree about the fandom size one!! i'm not one to participate in fan culture anyways but i think this is part of the reason. having a smaller fandom usually means that people who stan them are actually there because they LIKE the group. like, being a popular group is great, but they can also attract bandwagons, or a lot of antis and it becomes exhausting. i always feel bad everytime i say that i don't want my faves to get bigger (and trust me, they already are), cause i feel like i'm holding them back but at the same time they already have a big fandom and are acknowledged by non stans anyway? so idk i always get stressed when people almost PRESSES others to stan cause i feel like that's just welcoming more toxicity as well as fandom divide? idk how to explain
In my opinion I think bp has the same type of songs too just as kard and mamoland and gfriend
Generally, a group is considered a rookie group by most fans up until 2 years after their debut. Also I’m pretty sure repackages exist to increase album sales? I might be wrong but I don’t think it’s just for the sake of having a comeback
Hmmm you are right about the increasing album sales argument. Good point!
TWICE were rookies for almost 3 years, snsd was a rookie for 2 years same with RV so it depends tbh it seems to be like
When u made ur big hit u aren’t a rookie anymore.
I think the reason why girl crush is associated with feminism is because those groups target a female audience while groups like twice have a larger (older) male audience which can be seen as anti feminism because they are targeting a male audience
one of skz's strongest suit is their albums....even as a repackage IN LIFE nearly doubled its tracks from Go Live
this is so late but i just wanna say...i literally had to watch this video 3 times bc the feeling when u can relate to someones opinion is just mmm *chefs kiss*
Repackaged albums are something, which I strongly don´t like. I got it, they need comebacks, but sorry, repackaged albums are not the way for me...
I BELIEVE THAT PLAYING WITH THE SAME SONG IN DIFFERENT WAYS IS CREATIVE
IF IDOLS GIVE US SIMILAR SONGS THEN JUST THINK THAT THEY'RE PLAYING DIFFERENT SONGS THE SAME GUITAR
1) Agree, if a group wants to make music that's all the same, that's fine because it works for them, if it didn't they obviously wouldn't be making the same kind of songs over and over. Of course change is nice every now and then but it shouldn't be such a necessity
2) AGREE feminism is so much more than just a badass song and I'm really glad you pointed out. Also yes, there are so much more concepts than just cute and girl crush and that should be pointed out more too
3) Agree, most of the groups I stan are like this.
As long as the idols are respectful people off camera I couldn't care less what they did in their private life
5) Agree, well, mostly. A cohesive album in my opinion is always better than something randomly thrown together, but if at least all the songs themselves are good, it'll still get a pass from me. But yeah, I think repackages are pretty weird too.
6) Agree. I don't really have much to add to this, you basically spoke my mind uwu
7) Agree. Tbh at first I actually thought that was how it worked, so when I saw lots of people talking about ateez being a rookie even after their one year anniversary I was pretty confused. So yeah, everyone, please stop calling groups over a year old rookies, thank you ^^
8) Agree, I don't really get what the companies mean with "it won't get as much promotion as an actual album" when they actually do put just as much promotion in the singles. It doesn't make sense. Also I find that it takes away part of the experience of listing to the album for the first time, because in that case you'll have already heard half of the songs due to all the pre-releases
I know I literally agreed with you on basically everything, and even though it would be more interesting if I disagreed I found it quite hard with these opinions lol.
8. Agree
3:42 I'm glad there's other people thinking the same as me 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
To be honest i feel like what gg music should be divided for should not be based on girl crush or cute concept.
1) Agreed, I'm perfectly fine with groups making songs that sound similar
2)AGREED. Girl.crush.is.not.feminism
Also the fact that girl crush and cute are NOT the only concepts out there
3) Agreed, YASS
The group being more popular would obviously be better for the group as a whole but the fan culture would become more toxic
4) Agreed, IDOLS ARE HUMANS TOO AND CAN DO WHATEVER THE HELL THEY WANT OFF-CAMERA
5) Disagreed, I don't really care if there is no theme in the album.
It doesn't make me hate the songs
6) STRONGLY AGREE, if there is not something "mindblowing" or "original" in a comeback doesn't mean that the song is bad or something
7) Agreed, ITZY IS NOT A ROOKIE GROUP
8) Disagreed, I'm fine with pre-release singles and the culture of it. I don't really mind it
I agree 100% with everything you just said.
1. agree/disagree.I mean yeah i think its ok but i absolutely hate it. the reason i like kpop is because everything sounds different and theres tons of different sounds you dont get to hear often in western pop. groups like gfriend can do whatever the fuck they want to make money since kpop is a business but if someone asks me if i stan gfriend im gonna say no because theyre music is boring and all sounds the same.
2. period
3. agree but obviously i hope for their success
4. disagree. I dont care what they do in their free time but i would hate to be giving my time and attention to a bad person. i probably already am but if i could know i would want to. i dont care about stupid shit like who they date or doing drugs/clubbing but if theyre a sex offender or bully or racist i would like to know.
5. agreed
6. agree but i personally tend to ignore groups that follow trends
7. agree
8. disagree they fun i just want content
But it has to match the with the album, or else it will make no sense and misleading.
ok so this is really late and u probably won't see it but i just feel like ranting
1) i mean it's obviously fine and giving hate for that is stupid (like much hate) but i just tend to like when groups experiment but as you said sometime's it''s not in their best interest because people end up not liking it (like ice cream) which = less money oop. and just because a group made songs that sound similar doesn't mean that the group is bad (for ex: twice's heartshaker and what is love chorus kind of sound the same to me but both are good enough songs and if groups do change it up from time to time like twice do i won't mind) same with d.4 and ktl like yes they are similar but they're both good songs and blackpink have changed it up
2) exactly feminism litteraly mean womens can fricking chose and limiting feminism to being badass is literally against the point
3) yeah i agree also smaller concerts seem so fun. It also allows a greater conncection between fans and the group which is why i think army and bts have a great conncection as they started small / or stray kids and stays. In comparison blackpink blew up really early so they didn't reakky have time to build a connection with fans which is why i don't really feel connected to them but i still love them with my whole heart
4) I kinda disagree tbh. Like i do care if my idol is a bad person in the grand scheme of things because if i end up having invested time and money into a person who turns out to have done really bad things, ill be kinda mad (like woojin) but i don't care about how they act around their friends and privately in their daily lives because they have the right to have their own life as fricking human beings and that should not be intruded on
I guess with dating it's litteraly their choice, if they want to reveal it, i'm totally okey with that because having to hide your something all the time must get so annoying, like u can never realx and stuff, but also not telling ur fans is also fine like they don't have a duty or something to share everything with their fans ffs
5) tbh i disagree, i get where ur coming from but personally if the songs are good i don't mind: for me it makes me want to buy an album more because i can enjoy someting with more variety/moods and it feels more worth it than just 10 songs with the same exact concept, meanings and sound
6) yeh i don't have much to say but yeh nothing wrong with that, if a song is good it's good. however if you give suggestions for people to listen to something more unique i don't see why that's bad if you're not shading others for doing what's popular
7) well for me i don't really consider itzy stray kids or dreamcatcher rookies anymore but i also don't have a big problem with them being considered rookies. As you said, it would make more sense if after 1 year they're not rookies anymore but to me it's not that deep anyways
8) i can't tell if you mean the actual songs are usually bad (which i disagree with cos u can't just label them as bad) but if you mean the idea of one yeh i agree, i don't really like it but at the same time I don't think them promoting it and making a good music video is a bad thing for groups who need it like blackpink lmao. I just wish they executed it well and found a way to actually link it to the next title track
sorry this rant was long asf so i hope u enjoyed it if u were bored. the fact that i am motivated to write an enormous paragraph about kpop but will do the bare minimum for school lmao
also new subscriber because u seem like an educated kpop stan that's actually opinionated and has good arguments, can't wait for your new videos!
4. agree to an extent. people tend to overreact to things that idols do in their personal lives, but i at least want to feel like i'm stanning a good person. kpop makes it so that you feel like you know your idol, and finding out that that's all a lie would suck (e.g the jimin, mina situation). however i do feel like most idols are them are relatively similar to their on screen persona. and yeah i don't care about dating or anything like that, it's none of my business
5. agree. the whole point of a comeback is to have a certain vibe and if that isn't followed through in the album it's disappointing.
6. agree. conventional music is shown to be popular so why would a group not go with that concept? doesn't mean it's bad, i honestly just see it as marketing
7. Disagree. I think the two year mark makes sense, mostly because I think you need to have at least 2 comebacks to not be a rookie (if we're talking about experience) and that usually happens by like the year and a half mark
8. Agree. Honestly my favourite parts of comebacks is when I love the title track and can listen to the rest of the album (even if it's like two songs) and obviously you can't do that with pre releases. i'd rather wait the extra month or so for a strong comeback and a ton of promotion, than just one song
wow. i actually agree with everything in this video...
I mean, I think it’s cool when they are cohesive (like Ateez’s albums tell a story and fit a theme) but it’s more of a group to group thing for me if that makes sense
7) Agreed; some people act like each comeback has to be some kind of cultural reset or address social issues to be good, when that’s just not the case.
I just like them or I don’t 😂
first one tho, relatable
LOONA'S problem is their fandom lmao like literally their fans are constantly picking fights with every other group under the sun
ummm it’s not loona’s problem cuz you stan the group not fans lmao girls have nothing to do with it
international orbits are kpop fandom’s problem only and if someone stanning the group really bothers you well i have some bad news....
upd. by bothers you i meant you don’t want to stan a group because of it not you being done by all those fandom fights
@@whdddd8801 But they are the problem lmao their fans are so annoying there are so many orbits who are like " I might unstan cause this fandom is getting annoying "
@@whdddd8801 I never said the girls had anything to do with it
Toxic fans are tragic ́ then they never were there for the girls 😌
Honestly I don't see the issue with copying from one era to the next. If I like a song ill like it in a similar sounding but different concept. Im not a blackpink fan but I totally get where they are coming from complaining they get the same song over and over with nothing new, but groups like mamamoo and momoland always have good side tracks with unique concepts. Just stan groups with more content, stop justifying giving views and money to companies that don't care enough to give their artists more variety
Unless the group is not 2 years old, they are still rookies, I don’t think 1 year is enough for “experience”
What app do you use the quality of your videos are great!
@@axiestan thanks allot for telling me the app BTW your videos are amazing
3) Disagree kinda ? idk....I don't stan any "underrated groups" or the ones with smaller fandoms specifically (I'm a stayarmymidzy) and so I quite enjoy seeing the fandom achieve goals with far more ease than if the grp is small
I have been a debute midzy and a 2017-2018 army, and although I am also of the opinion that yt views don't matter, I do stream the MV's when they drop if I have time and try to contribute to the goal set by the fandom...I remember as a midzy streaming not shy, the goal was 20 M...but I remember it barely touching 12M and on the other hand dynamite achieved it's goal of 100M with ease and even LGO hit a good 80M when it dropped
I know Midzy isn't a small fandom, but as compared to Army is sure is, and these releases were a week apart from each other and it frustrated me to see that the girls weren't getting what they deserved due to the lack of numbers (again clarifying that yt goals DO NOT matter, but it does give an idea of how many people will watch ads for voting or will take out the time to vote when the times comes) and since then I've always found myself enjoying more when I see my faves doing good numbers, which happens to be proportional to the fandom size
not to mention that I will NEVER run into another stay ever even tho stay is a fairly big fandom, but running into an army or blink is easy
Stan fanatics periodt 😁❤✨
1) disagree, a group putting out songs that sound the same isn't okay imo, like what is the point of having multiple tracks if they all have to sound the same....that's my biggest problem with iz*one for me and why I can't get into them, all the tracks sound the same, why can't I just keep listening to the same one?
2) Agree...this misconception probably started because blackpink did this concept and they were one of the first girl groups to blow up internationally
3) Disagree, groups success makes everything more enjoyable to me
4) Disagree (1/2) what sets kpop apart is the fact that idols get personal with their fans, or so it seems....so if I find out that someone is something completely different off cam then that changes my perspective of them on cam
agree wholeheartedly with idols not revealing who they date and the fact that off cam info shouldn't be available to fans in the first place
5) disagree, each track on the album should be good...not necessarily cohesive but albums is one of btskz's strongest suits and they are my ults, so ig I don't notice how much cohesion matters to me since they always check boxes for this aspect
6) agree
7) agree, but I do have a question
once, for eg, enhypen, cross their one year mark...they are no longer rookies, they are however a 4th gen group and so are txt....so do they just fall into the same category after the one year mark or like what, cause obviously their achievements will vary alot
8) SPILL, ABSOLUTELY AGREE
pre releases is just company's being skimpy and baiting fans into spending more money on the group than they should have to
the fact that it seemed like blackpink did alot this year, when it was only one album total was all because of pre releases
Hey can I get the name to the group dancing at 8:29? Also what stage is it? :)
Mamoland
omg you ate so hard with the feminism opinion
feminism is basically not telling anyone what to do, do whatever you want and it goes for both genders. Telling them girl crush is the best and everyone should do it literally goes against feminism
Okay but like kard's music is really good and it doesn't all sound the same to me
Ik that's literally what she said not to say but it just doesn't sound the same to me
Like oh NaNa = gunshot?
That's a no for me
All Gfriend songs literally sounds different to me. I have no idea how you all think they are all the same but I respect that. I wont beg for support but they really sounds different especially if you know the lyrics/meaning
"Stan loona" is annoying though, especially on Twitter
Imagine tweeting about your sibling dying and they reply with "Stan loona"
I saw the same thing on twitter. One of Wonho's die hard fans. I love monsta x n wonho for his craziness
Sorry too much rant.
What’s the group at 8:40?
Momoland
I like itzy bc they actually have a theme for they albums like why make a album if you don't have a theme?
Blackpink are empowering, just not female empowerment.
empowerment is 'make (someone) stronger and more confident, especially in controlling their life and claiming their rights'
Many of their songs (kill this love, How You Like That) give me the 'ik it it hurts but get up and do something about it, your stronger than this' vibe/ message. So its general empowerment in my opinion
FAX.
As far as not caring what idols do offstage..why would you support someone when they are not good people? That makes no sense. Im not funding your life nor helping you elevate in life if you arent a good person. Alot of your points dont make sense but go off
Wait... there are people who says KARDs songs are all the same? jesus >< for these people, do you really wanna say Red Moon is the same as Go Baby, or Jinikka is the same as Ride on the Wind? .... well.. think about it
Now ths s what u call OPINIONS....i literally dslike videos of ppl hating on other grps n callimg thm unpopular like wtf....
Who us the girl at 7:17?
itzy's yuna
i actually agreed with all of these lmao
I don't agree😀
