Thank you so much! Honestly you can’t go wrong with either of these guitars! Don’t know what your budget is but squire classic vibes are always great bang for buck!
Great point about hearing them solo vs within the mix. There is a reason strats are so popular. Gotta say though, I love the tone of the Jazzmaster and it’s just so beautiful to look at.
Owning both I can say the Jazzmaster feels a lot more comfortable, the offset plus the contours wraps nicely around the body. The rhythm circuit is a charm for actual jazz hybrid picking, and the vibrato has a better action, even when compared to a floated Strat trem.
saying one model is more comfortable than the other is a bit misleading as both guitars have been made for years and many come with different neck shapes (some with wider or thinner necks) or with different fretboard radius' or fretwire height and width), and even the bodies on the different models will vary slightly but enough to notice a difference, some with belly cuts some without etc i.e. i own three different Stratocasters an American Fender a Japanese Fender and an Indonesian Classic Vibe Squier and all three play and feel distinctly different - granted the main difference in feel for me is due primarily to the necks each being different , and also there is string height/action to consider,a guitar whose strings are set too high may feel uncomfortable until you set up your guitar and suddenly with just the slightest truss rod adjustment you find it now plays almost effortlessly, anyway just some food for thought.
Thanks for watching, and thanks for the compliments about the guitars, i totally agree, I absolutely love tele necks on strats, they always grab my attention!
Beautiful video for your first one! You have a great voice and camera presence, touched in great points, and you play great. My only critique would be more lighting.
Hey Sam, this is a great first video! I hope to see many more. You might want to add a little better "video lighting" to your studio. It was just a little dark. I really liked your comparison of these two Fender Guitars. Most of us know about the ubiquitous Stratocaster and bringing the Jazzmaster into the arena makes for a great comparison. As George mentioned the pickups make a huge difference in this and any other guitar. But the unique features and switching of the Jazzmaster really illustrates some of its often overlooked capabilities, especially with the time-based effects.
Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to comment some feedback! Completely agree with the lighting, it was something I didn’t realise whilst shooting and by the time I was editing the video it was too late! And yes for sure, the pickups do make a huge impact, maybe I should have specified that more in the video.
Both beautiful axes man. I'm an offset man so I have to say Jazzmaster I prefer but when I'm feeling aggressive or blue strat will do keep rocking man 😎🎸👍
That is just an impressive first video, mate, already following you, keep them coming. Btw, I have and love a Tokai Jazzmaster, I have never seen really the point of a Strat, Teles, and Jazzmaster, even Mustangs they work better for me
Awesome first video! I've also just started to put some videos up on TH-cam to keep track of my progress on guitar as I'm relearning the instrument (took a really long break from it). I own a Johnny Marr Jaguar and recently bought a used MIJ Strat '57 and MIJ Jazzmaster and I love them all. I agree with your assessment of the Jazzmaster's tone vs the Strat. They're both fantastic in their own way, they both have the Fender sweetness and bell-like cleans. The Jazzmaster has a bit more of that sparkle and chime to my ears and is especially good for surf style playing.
Hey man, thank you and awesome I’ll check them out! :) and yeah for sure, something about the floating trem on the jazzmaster that just goes so well with surf!
@@samwestguitar ❤️ thank you Sam, means the world. In Doing demos now I hope they bring you a lot of fun and find people that share your love of gear the same way you do.
Hello! Thanks for watching! I think you’re right, definitely one of the closest tonal crossovers. To my ear the jazzmaster still sounds ever so slightly warmer and punchier but they’re really close!
I have owned a '63 Strat and presently a 2007 Strat VG and a Haze Jazzmaster with P 90 pick ups. Upgraded the trem to a Fender unit, along with a Fender bridge and nut. Really enjoyed playing it but then decided I wanted a real Fender Jazzmaster and loved the features on the new American Pro II Jazzmaster so I bought one last year. Fender finally solved all the problems of the old Jazzmaster plus added new features such as the new Panorama tremolo, which is far better than the original, new bridge (no more high e string popping out, and adjustable neck angle, plus other new features including a push pull tone knob which gives you a choice of a modern tone or a vintage brighter tone with the bridge pup. Occasionally, I will pull down my Strat VG and play it and even though it has over 40 different sounds such as modeled humbucker mode, Tele and even 12 string modes (both acoustic and electric) I go right back to the Am Pro II. I just love how it sounds and feels. And it has plenty of different tones to satisfy most of what I play. Thanks for your comparison.
@@jonathanfreet5333 Haha, same! I've just made a video about that specific guitar if you're interested! th-cam.com/video/xwf2iYGBngs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bQ_11W9F8Ha3VzQB
Great job for your first video man, very thorough and factual and when you mentioned guiutarists, Hendrix was your first mention on that list... so your good in my book sir! lol
Top job, keep them coming, can't choose between the two, they both play great sounds!!! Then again, all those greats payed the Stratocaster, so off a good endorsement!
They both sound great and I would not say one is better than the other. I own Strats and Jazzmasters and even jaguars. I love them all and I play them according to what sound I want to achieve. For me the biggest difference for me between my Strats and Jazzmasters is the trem system and how unique the trem sound is on the Jazzmaster compared to the standard trem sound of the Strat. One thing that I am curious about is how did you come to have Telecaster necks on both your Strat and your Jazzmaster?
Completely agree with everything you said! There’s something so magical about that trem! And just neck preference really haha. I found a really nice thick C shaped neck which I preferred to the strat neck I had and it just so happened to be a telle neck! i think it looks pretty cool tho! And similar story with the jazzmaster, when I refinished them jazzmaster I wanted a nitro neck to match the nitro finish so that they would age at the same time and I couldn’t find any nitro jazzmaster necks! Thanks for watching by the way and apologies for by delayed response!
Hey thanks watching! It’s actually a question of neck profile. The neck I used to have on the guitar had a V profile which I didn’t particularly like so I bought a myself a new neck, I absolutely loved the the feel of the telle neck, it has a really vintage thick C feel to it! And plus, looks a bit more eye catching than your regular strat! 😆
I think we all want to know the story with the Jazzmaster finish. My only feedback is that for comparisons, I think it's best to keep demonstrations simple. Best demos for me is just slowly strumming or arpeggiating an open C chord. Because everyone knows what that sounds like. When someone plays at an advance level, it doesn't really help beginner to intermediate players really understand the differences between what is being demoed. Otherwise great job and great playing.
Thank you so much for watching and for the feedback! And yeah I think you’re absolutely right there. Very easy to get carried away with playing as opposed to demonstrating the tonal differences clearly lol. And as for the finish, a friend of mine actually painted it! I might make a video about it sometime in the future so keep an eye out! 😆
Hey there! about 8 months later i've finally answered your question in a video lol! Check it out if you're interested! th-cam.com/video/xwf2iYGBngs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bQ_11W9F8Ha3VzQB
Nice job on the comparisons. personally I wanted a Jazzmaster, then changed my mind to a Jaguar, then settled on a Tele. I built a Telocaster hybrid [Strat body, Tele electronics] and have got the best of the lot [I think] :-)
Nice comparison. Let's just make some things clear: Pickups played a major part here. Texas Specials are super honky and you Montys (btw I was aware of Montys over here in Greece) are meant to be beefy as they get. Pre CBS style pickups for your strat would have taken it into that territory too, especially ones designed for "bell tone". It really was apples to oranges due to pickup selection alone. Cheers, loved the presentation as a total.
Thanks for watching George, really appreciate it! And defiantly, Texas specials sure are on the hotter end of strat pickups! Wasn’t aware of the Montys beefy reputation, I know they do a retro wind version of the pickup that’s supposed to be even more beefy! It’s awesome that monty’s are starting to gain a bit of international recognition, not sure they’ve quite hit the mainstream in the states yet!
@@samwestguitar They've been featured on the Andertons channel a couple of times - possibly also on Justin Guitar and That Pedal Show (although I am not 100% about the latter 2) so many of us guitar nerds on YT are aware of them.
Pickup coil position matters a lot too. Different position = different harmonic content picked up by the coil. The Neck PU coil on the Jazzmaster is slightly closer to the bridge than on the Strat, and the Bridge PU coil on the Strat is slanted but the one on the Jazzmaster is not. It's similar to the difference between a SG and a Les Paul. The SG has a thin neck joint, so the neck pickup is placed closer to the bridge compared to a Les Paul, making the SG neck pickup more "bitey". Another known example of the neck pickup shift is comparing a PRS 24 to a PRS 22. Due to the 24th fret, the PRS 24 has its neck pickup placed closer towards the bridge.
I'm curious to why you have different necks on them? Are the bodies and electronics Squier? Just a sneaking suspicion. I have a strat and a jazzy, they sound quite different. Jazzmaster pickups are one of a kind, they sound so much different from any other guitar, kinda sparkly but lots of depth. My strat just sounds spanky. Also the Jazzy has this awesome thing on the lead circuit, if you put it in middle position, it's basically a super wide humbucker.
Hey thanks for watching, very deductive haha! The strat is a squire body but it’s got custom shop Texas specials in with some nice vintage spec electronics. The jazz master on the other hand is one I put together myself and painted, it’s got a set of Monty’s jazzmaster pickups which are killer, they’re a boutique made to order pickup company based in the uk if you haven’t heard of them, they’re awesome! The necks were just down to the my preference in neck profile over anything else really! I have a John Mayer signature strat also but as the pickups in that guitar are unique too that model I thought it would be more appropriate to use this strat as it’s a bit more representative of what a “strat” sounds like. Although Texas specials are pretty unique in their own right but I have to make do with what I have!😆 And I completely agree, the jazzmaster a seriously unique guitar!
Thanks for watching! I actually refinished both of them! The jazzmaster was painted by a very talented friend of mine and the Stratocaster is supposedly surf green but personally I think it looks a bit bluer Than surf green!
That bridge pick up on the Strat has a very distinctive classic lead sound. Everything else I prefer the Jazzmaster in comparison but I am bias because I've been playing them 30 years. May I ask why you why you have Tele necks on your guitars here..? I'm presuming it's personal preference obviously but I'm still curious as to what you get from them that you don't from the originals.. is it just a spec thing?
Hey nick! Thanks for watching and commenting! I completely get what you’re saying about the bridge pick-up on the strat, really cuts through the mix like nothing else! And in regards to the tele neck, I wasn’t a fan of the specific neck profile on the original strat neck, it was a v cut which I find quite uncomfortable, so I had a look online for a thicker vintage C type neck and the only thing I could find in stock that had a profile like that was the tele neck!😆 I actually quite like the way it looks, apparently strats with tele necks are called “mischief makers” !
@@samwestguitar Ha! Interesting.. I'm about to do a neck swapping situation on an early 90's MIJ Jazzmaster. Some guitar tech people say "don't do it, you'll get problems".. others say "it's fine, people do that stuff all the time". I don't know enough about it. Has it all gone smoothly in your case or were there problems you had to address? Did you have any key criteria when buying them apart from what you said before?
@@nicknewman7848 ahh awesome! To be honest If your swapping a fender neck with another fender neck that is the same scale length I don’t think you’ll have a problem. The only thing you need to watch out for is the the neck heal, strats and jazzmasters have a curved neck heal whilst tele neck heels are flat. All that basically means is that if you wanted to put a neck with flat neck heal on you’d have to file the neck joint on the body down so that it fits. If you look at some pictures of strats and teles you’ll be able to see what I mean!
Other than that obviously you’ll have to give the guitar a set up once the neck is on and you’ll probably have to get yourself some nut files to file down the nut on the new neck.(if the replacement neck is new that is) There loads of tutorials on TH-cam all about doing that and it’s not particularly difficult!
@@samwestguitar That is all useful information.. I appreciate it. Now when I speak to the guys who will fit it and change the pick-ups for me etc, I'll be able to sound like I know what I'm talking about. I wouldn't trust myself to do it.. I'm generally awful with any kind of hardware or DIY situations. Thanks for responding.. I'll do a subscribe and forward any vids that are relevant to my music mates. Cheers.
Thanks for watching ! I actually did a re-finish on that guitar and the paint is Sea-foam green but to my eye it looks like a bit of a mix of Daphne Blue and Sea-foam Green!
hi, my dream guitar is the jazzmaster, but unfortunately i dont have one yet. is there any difference between the og fender jazzmaster and the squier affinity series jazzmaster because they have different pickup alternatives and they do not have the lead and rhythm switch?
Hello! Thanks for watching the video, I’ve never played an affinity jazzmaster so can’t comment on how they play but you’re right on the pick-up selector. the Trem system is also not what you’d expect to find on a jazzmaster, I assume you probably can’t lock it off in the way you can lock off a traditional jazzmaster trem. Despite that, I have played affinity strats In the past and they really are good bang for buck and I’m sure the jazzmaster would be the same !
@@samwestguitar thanks for the reply! i will consider trying out the affinity jazzmaster because of its unique tone and not very jazzmaster ish sound, but still having that nice jazzmaster characteristics for almost half of its price. also i've seen many good reviews of the affinity series jazzmaster. but maybe i'd custom it some time in the future so that i can have the classic jazzmaster features.
Cool finish on the JM, and a Tele neck on the Strat I agree doesn’t really matter. I’m thinking about swapping the necks on my strat and my JM. I favor the JM but like the strat neck.
Thanks for watching ! I was actually lucky enough to have a friend do it for me! It’s an acrylic painting which I then put a nitro lacquer over so to the touch it feels just like a normal guitar !
Great video. Well done. Jazzmaster paint job is fantastic. When using the jazz master do you notice that a hum / buzz is excessive when using distortion or even clean ?
Hey Joe, thanks! A friend painted it! Originally I did have quite alot of hum, there’s a few things I’d suggest if you have a the same problem. If it only buzzes when you’re not touching the strings then it’s probably a grounding issue, I’d suggest running a wire off the volume pot to the bridge pin if that’s the case. If it hums continuously and increased in volume when you put it near other electrical objects like lights I would suggest insulating the pick-up bay and pick guard. You can do this with any conductive metal tape(this made the biggest difference for me)
@@samwestguitar thanks for the reply. I’ll try the tape. I almost changed to noiseless pickups. I like the tone of pups. Just hate the noise. I start with the pick guard.
Thanks for watching man, and agreed there, feel very fortunate to have them in the arsenal! And a very honourable decision lol, and I’d probably agree, I love the jazzmaster to bits but if I could only play one guitar for the rest of my life I think it would have to be a strat!
Thank you! I actually decided to refinish it myself, it’s supposedly surf green but to my eye it looks a bit more blue than other surf green strats I’ve seen! Sorry I know that’s not particularly useful😆
@@samwestguitar hey, thank you very much for your reply, very useful indeed. Keep the videos coming, they are very on point and informative, we share the same taste for jazzmasters.
Because I want to see the world burn.😆 Haha no, it’s actually because I really liked the neck profile of both the tele necks so I swapped them! Plus I think it looks cool! Thanks for watching! 😄
Very good video. Myself, I prefer the extra mids and low-end that the Jazzmaster has. It just sounds sweeter and more musical to my ears. More complete. Plus, I really like the chimey, clanky-sounding middle position a Jazzmaster has as well. It's a sound that a guitar with three pickups just cannot produce. However, I do like the Strat sound and the sounds other people can get out of it, but for the style of playing I do it's never really suited me and I've never been able to truly make a Strat sing like it does in the hands of other people. Also, I just don't like the ergonomics of a Strat either. But for me, the ergonomics of a Jazzmaster, as well as its sound just suits my playing style much better.
Thank you! Yes they are indeed! I also have a treble bleed in there but that shouldn’t really have effected the tone at full volumes! Thanks for watching ! :)
Thanks man! Yeah it’s super nice, One of my friends actually painted it! And on that specific guitar I just wanted a different neck profile and the tele neck had a really nice chunky C so I thought why not!
Man, I was totally gonna get a stray but now. Jazzmasters are freaking so sick and sound so damn good. Tone is amazing on the jazzmaster, it’s smooth but it still has that mid punch.
Embarrassing comment - your Dad can't stop talking about you! (Just liked and subscribed.) Seen a few of your Dad's home videos already Sam... Awesome stuff!
Thanks for watching and for the compliments on the playing ! Everything’s recorded with either a Rhodes large Diaphragm condenser mic or a shure SM57! Didn’t want the mic in shot for dialogue but in more recent videos I’ve had it right in front of my face to improve the quality a bit! :)
In the end, it doesn’t matter. Which PARTICULAR guitar makes one excited to play and feels ‘right’ in the moment? That’s really about it. On record, nobody cares and, unless you are doing something that is unique to each guitar, nobody can tell which is which with accuracy and certainty. Pickups are the #1 determinant as to the sound of an instrument, pre-amplifier. I’ve owned around 30-40 guitars and have worked for renowned guitar and audio brands for decades. We’ve run detailed tests that most people will never do. Much of the ‘lore’ and popular wisdom is nonsense and folklore based upon repeated retelling with no primary sources. I still own 18 guitars and have reduced the collection to 2 Jazzmasters (a Lee Ranaldo w/Novak CuNiFe pickups and a TVL w/Staytrem parts) along with an Eric Clapton Strat (does pretty much everything). Those three guitars sound very different to each other and the rest of guitars in my collections are oddballs, acoustics, etc. Again, whichever instruments grabs your attention and inspires you to play is the one (or are the ones…) to own.
Awesome, thank for watching! I literally just posted a video all about that specific jazzmaster! check it out if you're interested! th-cam.com/video/xwf2iYGBngs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bQ_11W9F8Ha3VzQB
Nic eone Sam! Think I prefer the depth odf the Jazzmaster though the Strats and Teles can be great at cutting through in a band situation. Cool effects! I have a few guitars that could make interesting comparisons if this develops into a series!
Well I have 2 videos on the pick up dynamics and changing the pick ups.... But when i got a jazzmaster i noticed the next sounded like an overwound strat neck pick up.... Then I saw Hendrix play for Little Richard and he had a jazzmaster... it clicked. the jazzmaster vids i did were recorded proper, but since then I like the phone best.
Since this is your OG video and you asked for feedback, I'll cut right to the chase. First, your demeanor is great and so is your style and you clearly have guitar chops which is a huge step in the right direction. You'll want to try to optimize your lighting so that people can clearly see the parts of the guitar, notably it's a tad hard to read your headstocks. A lot of times when you're doing a comparison video, it's to help someone decide what to buy. In other words, you're not really helping someone decide that they want a Jazzmaster or a Stratocaster here. I would say this is more of a pickup video comparison for the following reasons: When I've seen these videos in the past, they're generally caveated when the guitar is not original. There's also a full description of the specs of each guitar. You've got two guitars here that are basically unattainable by the viewer in the state that you have them, so with all of the quality that you're putting into these videos, the audience is potentially limited unless you're caveating how your non-standard neck choices affect the tone and playability of the guitars OR you're focused more on the things that someone can do to modify their guitars. Am I saying this is a bad video? Oh no. It's really enjoyable. I'm suggesting that thinking about how you are packaging these videos differently will expose you to a wider audience. And let's face it, you are good enough to be seen by a wider audience. Take care!
Hi Mike! Thank you for watching and for taking the time to write such detailed feedback, really appreciate it! I think you’re probably on to something with the unattainability of the exact guitars. I really wanted to make a video of this type but unfortunately I don’t own a completely stock strat or jazzmaster but they would certainly make for a more general comparison! As you say I might need to tailor my videos more to the guitars im using. And again, completely agree with the lighting, it was an issue that I only realised in editing after I’d filmed the whole thing, I think my more recent videos are slightly better in that regard! Anyway, thanks again for the feedback! :)
I’m team Strat every day. However, Strats are in no way better. Just a different tone that I prefer for how I play. 4th and 5th position Strat tone is enough for me to pick the Strat over anything.
@@rossfletcher711 there essentially identical with the only difference being the rounded neck heel on the strat compared to the straight neck heel on the telle so I just filed down the curved neck heel on the neck pocket of the strat body! As long as the mounting screws are still in the same place intonation won’t be affected ! :)
You created a video to compare a Strat and a Jazzmaster, but you have a Tele neck on the Strat, and a "Telecaster Deluxe" neck on the Jazzmaster. Not a true Jazzmaster / Strat comparison.
@@aflatbot Appreciate the feedback and thanks for watching! Although I don’t think anyone on earth would be capable of telling the difference based on tone!😆

Thanks for your comparison.
cool presentation man, thx.
solid video you did well! And I learned something!

Thanks Chris! Indeed, If it was good enough for Hendrix its good enough for me lol
Hendrix played Jazzmasters, too! At least in the earlier days.
Briliant playing

Thank you so much for watching and commenting, glad you enjoyed the video !
Good Job. Keep up the good work
Thanks! :)
I’d love to know where you got the Jazzmaster with that design and what it’s called
@@samwestguitar Ok, that makes sense on the necks. The telle necks do have a very unique and comfortable feel.
You might have mentioned thos on the vid and i missed it but why does the Strat have wjat looks like a telecaster neck on it?
@samwestguitar I like your attitude man, great job!
Nice job on the comparisons.
personally I wanted a Jazzmaster, then changed my mind to a Jaguar, then settled on a Tele.
I built a Telocaster hybrid [Strat body, Tele electronics] and have got the best of the lot [I think] :-)
That sounds awesome, I’d love to see what! Thanks for watching !
Nice comparison.
Let's just make some things clear:
Pickups played a major part here.
@@meiji... Very very well said my friend!
Great video, thank you.
Thanks for watching and the comment! :)
Although Texas specials are pretty unique in their own right but I have to make do with what I have!😆
And I completely agree, the jazzmaster a seriously unique guitar!
I really liked hearing them playing together
Thanks man!
Each One has a beauty Blue colour... I wonder tô know theses colours names. Nice vídeo!
Thanks for watching! I actually refinished both of them! The jazzmaster was painted by a very talented friend of mine and the Stratocaster is supposedly surf green but personally I think it looks a bit bluer Than surf green!
There’s a reason jazzmasters were once considered a more premium instrument than strats. Jazzmasters in the middle position are so good
Jazzmaster neck pickup can get very close to Strat tones. The JM bridge pickup seems closer to a trebly Tele sound to me
Agreed! Thanks for watching !
And in regards to the tele neck, I wasn’t a fan of the specific neck profile on the original strat neck, it was a v cut which I find quite uncomfortable, so I had a look online for a thicker vintage C type neck and the only thing I could find in stock that had a profile like that was the tele neck!😆
I actually quite like the way it looks, apparently strats with tele necks are called “mischief makers” !
Cheers.
Does anyone know the name of the paint color of the strat?
But generally obviously the build quality you’ll find on a fender model will be slightly better but often it’s nothing a good setup can’t rectify!
@@alpharium for sure, That’s a great idea! Can’t recommend montys pickups enough if you do! :)
Did you have to do any work on the neck pocket on that Strele?
Great looking neck.
Hey there, thanks for watching! she’s a beaut isn’t she!
I did indeed, I had to flatten the neck pocket out to fit the flat end of the neck heal.
Cool finish on the JM, and a Tele neck on the Strat I agree doesn’t really matter. I’m thinking about swapping the necks on my strat and my JM. I favor the JM but like the strat neck.
Thank you! Sounds like a good plan, I actually have a strat neck on the jazzmaster too haha
Why does your strat have a tele headstock thoughs?
why does the strat have a tele neck?
I just really liked the neck profile of the tele neck so I swapped them !
What's that paint job on the Jazzmaster? Looks amazing.
No worries! Good luck with it, there’s some good TH-cam tutorials out there on it if you need any assistance!

Thanks for watching man, and agreed there, feel very fortunate to have them in the arsenal!
And a very honourable decision lol, and I’d probably agree, I love the jazzmaster to bits but if I could only play one guitar for the rest of my life I think it would have to be a strat!
What's the exact name of the strat's colour? Gorgeous guitars
I mean why the heck is a telecaster neck fitted to a Strat body? And why is the name "telecaster deluxe" written on the headstock of a jazzmaster? XD
Because I want to see the world burn.😆
Haha no, it’s actually because I really liked the neck profile of both the tele necks so I swapped them! Plus I think it looks cool! Thanks for watching! 😄
@@samwestguitar ohhh.. lol 😂😅
That jazzmaster sounds great! Ive heard that they often come with 1 000k pots. Do you know what pots are in your guitar?
Thank you! Yes they are indeed! I also have a treble bleed in there but that shouldn’t really have effected the tone at full volumes!

@@samwestguitar damn ur friends a fire artist

Your playing seems to prefer the tone and feel of the jazzmaster. I liked both but your rig favored the jazzmaster to my ears.
thanks for watching ! On the whole I think I agree with you, I love that slight added thickness of the jazzmaster picks ups!
Man, I was totally gonna get a stray but now. Jazzmasters are freaking so sick and sound so damn good. Tone is amazing on the jazzmaster, it’s smooth but it still has that mid punch.
Completely agree, good luck making the decision! It’s a tricky one! Thanks for watching !

Invest in a mic, man. That recording was lacking, though you absolutely have the chops. Cheers
The Jazzmaster has so much warmer sound!
Jazzmaster fan here.. 👍🏻

Thanks for watching! That’s interesting, have you considered using an EQ pedal? Find those really useful if I’m struggling to cut through!
@@samwestguitar glad it was useful Sam. I'm looking forward to your next videos! I subbed.
