Currently running for 7 players in a high magic setting. They each are extremely powerful in their own right. My most recent boss was almost perfect, but some mechanics I'd made for it didn't pan out and would've made it a slog. This video helped me refine some ideas I had and gave me some new ones.
I am really glad to hear it was helpful. I ran an end-of-game BBEG battle for a campaign earlier this year and tried to go toe-to-toe with the party. It was a complete let down and I wish I would have structured it differently with some of these tactics. They just stomped the guy into the dirt in 3 rounds.

Good tips but I run high magic world. I have to really try to challenge my party. I run for 9 players now down from 11
Whew! That is a large party to manage all the time! We do large parties like this on special occassions, but usually have 4 to 6.
