This reminds me of art class where there was a bunch of bros like this hounding people to see their sketches. I had a couple of pages where I just doodled some shit memes and a bunch of literal ass for my own amusement. Needless to say, the day came they asked to see my sketches. 3 full pages of dickbutt, various Pepes, Rage face memes, and ass being drawn in different styles poses and shapes; was just a shock to them. I have to give them credit for actually keeping composure and sticking to artistic critiques as they even complimented my line work and anatomy; but they never really bothered other people about their sketch books after that and just kept to their own.

Beautiful animation as always. Thank you for sharing 🙏 I gush over my friends art all the time. I wonder now if some would perceive it as circle jerking. I guess everyone views things differently 🤔
I don't think this is about that but objectivity and respect. You can praise your friend's art because you love them doing art, but not in relation to others/competition but because they are creating. That is different.
I remember a guy who is the opposite of this: he was extremely good at drawing, especially drawing mechs, but he didn’t really “hmmm,ur mech drawing looks weird” my drawing which i am thankful for.
It’s pretty frustrating to see people downplaying someone else’s work just because they their better than that individual. Treat the artist with respect and dignity.
This was 100% those 2 guys in high school. The one that has copious amounts of anime character "sketches" and the other who has a sketchbook full of DC and Marvel characters. While I was lagitametly just drawing anything that my brain thought up. If you're ever approached by guys who are like this, don't worry. Half the time they're as orginal and creative as a 4chaner. You can be better without being perfect.
While I never went to Uni/College to study art, I did have similar encounters in High School that would lead me to typically hiding or not showing my sketchbook. There was however one experience that really makes me cringe to think back on. During years 7 - 9 I had an art teacher who.. truthfully wasn't great. I don't mean she was a bad artist or teacher, however she just liked to really force her views and perspectives on your art if that makes sense. Before you ask, no, this wasn't me going "The teacher wants me to try drawing with charcoal but I don't want to >:c" or "Teacher wants me to practice portraits and anatomy but I want to draw cars instead", I always enjoyed experimenting with other mediums, subjects and styles even though I preferred traditional art of landscapes, cars and anime-esque characters. No, it was more like; Teacher: "Wow, cool landscape! Now you should try making it look like a hellish wasteland instead of serene natural hills!" I'm not joking, if your art wasn't "wacky" or "unique" in her eyes you would get a lower grade. Years 10 - 11 were much better with our new teacher who didn't tell us what or how to create our art, but rather graded it specifically depending on the medium, style and composition, which felt much better than being made to do an assignment in a medium I have no idea how to create in nor any prior practice in _cough_ clay sculpting _cough cough_

This is my new favorite thing you've ever made. Hilarious dialogue matched with incredible expressions
I hope those two are living their best lives together.
my fav level to all this is theyre all about the same level of quality/skill lmao
This is great. I love the Doom screams at the end, lol.
Wow, this is the same guy who taught me how to use after effects 6 years ago? Never thought I’d see you again! Lmao
Anywho, I’m glad you made this video, I know a lot of condescending artist who does this to me all the time! So I’m glad I’m not the only one!
Btw, your animation is not girthier enough 😂
When I used to do photography I joined a local club.
Very quickly I learned that people were more interested in how much money they spent on a camera or how big their LONG HARD new lens was.
I left the club.
We all hate this kind of people but hey, don't let them take your focus, keep practicing :3
I must say you gotta admit that those are some nice short GIRTHY notebook.
bro the doom noises are lovely (1:35)
Thank GOD i’m not the only one who takes pictures of their sketchbook on the floor 😭😭
I just realized this was posted yesterday and I was thinking it was something from several years ago, because that's usually how it goes with good animation randomly reccomended by youtube
Little bro just wanted to draw
I have no idea what the heck i just watched...
But i love it
Deviantart personified. It even has the furries. Amazing.
the adjectives there giving each others sketchbooks are scaring me..
It’s a shame that people like this exist in every creative field.
never personally had this experience but as an introvert it’s so nerve wracking when somebody asks “hey can i see your sketchbook”
I feel like i was that type of person. I really regret about this.
At least you have self-awareness. That's the first step, and one that many never experience. I'm sure you've grown since then, if you've already acknowledged how you acted and come to regret doing it! That's all we humans can do: change. Great job on trying to become a better human! 😊
@@ElysetheEevee thank you 🥺
I take solace in the fact I'll never be like this, since Im not good at anything in the first place, and mouse-drawing in paint is all I ever do
I think yours looks real cool. I don't think we would ever think we're good unless we change our attitude towards it, since if I was as good as this video's animator, then I would just find somebody better to say I'm not good enough. Maybe even myself versus an entire animation studio. Perfection is impossible. My sister is an amazing artist but she still does this and feels unhappy with her art sometimes.
perfection is impossible but if you dont constantly strive for it you will always be worse than someone else and that WILL make it harder for you do do what you want to do.@@zzoinks
@@zzoinks thank you! i keep forgetting I've posted drawings to my channel and can no longer self-deprecate in a vacuum
@@quantumblur_3145 oh you're welcome! Whenever you are feeling down on your art remind yourself it's really good!! I think so very much.
Love the msn sound effects ❤
This is some of tge most adorable animation i have ever seen
It’s not the size of the sketchbook that matters, but how you use it.
I'm actually obsessed with tiny notebooks and like having them just to have them. This includes tiny, pocket-sized sketchbooks. 😂 It's one of those primitive tactile pleasures, I guess.
I hate it when people ask to see my drawings or my sketchbook cause I've dealt with these people, the ones who puts you down in their ' own special way ' of being ' nice '
The random rocket launcher and the doom sounds were just the cherry on top lol
Beautiful animation as always. Thank you for sharing 🙏
I gush over my friends art all the time. I wonder now if some would perceive it as circle jerking. I guess everyone views things differently 🤔
I don't think this is about that but objectivity and respect. You can praise your friend's art because you love them doing art, but not in relation to others/competition but because they are creating. That is different.
1:10 bro speaking rippyroo
I remember a guy who is the opposite of this: he was extremely good at drawing, especially drawing mechs, but he didn’t really “hmmm,ur mech drawing looks weird” my drawing which i am thankful for.
Chinese art community in a nushell
It’s pretty frustrating to see people downplaying someone else’s work just because they their better than that individual. Treat the artist with respect and dignity.
He is traumatized I can tell of that look
Coz he saw two butts at 0:53 0:54 and 0:55
My second biggest pet peeve is exactly what the Grey Doguski did:
The Humble Brag.
Well done, little doggo. Keep up with your art journey! 👍
Also, nice job getting those two with the rpgs. They are acting crazy!😅
why do i have a feeling there is gonna be a ton of NSFW stuff very soon of this
very cool animation my friend. I love the rim lighting you use - it makes it very appealing.
Oh my god not the girthy thick sketchbook
The way the first dog says "You're an ART...GOD." just sends me.
In all seriousness, draw whatever you dang well feel like in your sketchbooks, and not concern yourself with how others use and/or view theirs.
YOU'RE AN ART GOD
No, it was more like;
Teacher: "Wow, cool landscape! Now you should try making it look like a hellish wasteland instead of serene natural hills!"
I'm not joking, if your art wasn't "wacky" or "unique" in her eyes you would get a lower grade.
This is the thickest animation ever bro... 🔥
