S&M video 4 was the first bike video I ever bought. Marvin, Dean, and Fids all had killer parts. Marvin and Fids had those iconic yellow (Dirtbike?) frames. I ended up meeting Fids at 9th street well over 10 years later and I think he was still riding a similar looking yellow frame. It was really cool riding a local spot with a guy who had such an influence on my riding all those years later.
He took a massive slam at a trails jam last summer, I told him he had blood coming out of his head and he just replied no I don’t despite it clearly being a lie and then continued to shred his yellow bike. 🤘
Rode an S&M in the mid-late 90's. Going to sheep from vegas was an absolute blast. My whole crew rode S&M's. Even TJ rode S&M before getting sponsored by specialized. Fun times.
Shout outs to Park Tool! Had no idea that disc mounting bracket existed. Would be interested in hearing how the disc holds up to pedal stall tech tricks and general abuse. P.S. These videos dont need all the editing fluff. They're great on their own

The bike's called MD20/20!! You HAVE to release it in "Kiwi Lemon" [antifreeze-looking] green. Was the best flavor of them all! Hands down. Too bad I just bought a trans-black BTM like two months ago...

Nothing but love for Moeller (The Godfather) and the guys at S&M! Wishing maybe a Holmes 2.0 comes out! Not a NextGen. The different sized crank arms, was Pistol Pete Loncarevich. Old guys (48) still riding!
Dig the new/old blend; hydro hose on a BMX.....run the cable disc caliper from Pauls of Chico FTW, also, does the adapter also hold when rolling backwards? Simple design tweak if not. Killer as usual MD

Pissed! I left my s&m frame with 9inch standover, to get a stranger (ya ok) frame because it has the tallest standover in the market at 10 inches and now you come out with 10.1/4.. ughhhh!
dial bar soap.. and little water for grips, once it drys they never wiskey throttle, it does take a few days in hot sunny days to dry.. , pretty much any old bar of soap the cheaper the soap te better,
Needs a "Trickster" Hydraulic Gyro now. Move that lever further down; the lever was designed to have a shifter installed before the grip. MD2020 with hydraulic brake mounts welded on?... Possibly BMX future... hopefully not the same direction as the WTF concept went...

Maybe try an Avid BB7 mechanical brake? I prefer Avid hydraulic brakes also. Shimano is too sensitive and the lever is clunky.
