Hey thank you! I’m going to try to do a 3d modeling vid, then build that project, then 3d, and so on. Been thinking about doing a membership where I can dive deeper into these types of vids - glad to know you find them valuable!

I really like the way you instruct us very rewarding. I am currently trying to model a climbing wall 12 feet high, 8 feet wide with 4x4 post at a 11 deg angle with plywood top. Having a little trouble with the bodies not meeting each other. Looks like they are merging. Neither here nor there I am learning from you. Thank you.

Great video - I have been using fusion 360 for my 3d printer - but to use it for woodworking plans - makes my head spin. And since I was googling for a work cart - this video is a win-win for me. Just one question - do your plans for the work cart include the fusion 360 files? I want to make some changes and getting the files would save me a lot of time.

Like the double video idea, model it then build it ... nice.

    nice video.
your mistake with the cutlist which shows 0.749" was how you set this value in the sketch. at min 26:00 you create a line on the x plane with the lenght .75 but it needs to bei at a 90 degree angle to the line you create before.
this is how i would do it:
    1. just creat a second line to the first one
    2. use the parallel constrains to make them parallel
    3. press d to give them a spacing.
    4. make sure the dimensions lines are on the some angle like the lines in your sketch and not on the x ir y plane.
when you doublecheck the .75 value i think fusion just did not show enough decimals to see the error und fusion rounded it up to .75
    hope that will fix it
    regards

Love the video and 'pace of work' to digest all this. One error in your drawing is when you made the slats for the tall side, you probably should have used the offset instead of making it width of full because the angle skewed the true width. Still love the video but that discrepancy initiated an error in width of those slats (albeit at 3 deg so very small discrepancy).

    Nice! Isn’t this Travis’s design from @dreamshopnation?

It could be! Looked at a ton of different designs on Google for this first mock up to get some dimensions and ideas for what would work in my shop.

Thank you for the very informative Fusion videos! For the last year I've been trying to learn Fusion and try to watch any TH-cam video I can find!
Your videos are one of the best. Keep them coming! I'm also going to check out that Space mouse as I've heard of them before.

Hi What an amazing video it was a great tutorial thanks . What version 360 is this because I can't get a part list on mine which is the free version ?

Fusion360 doesn't have built-in functionality for this in the free version. he's using a paid add-on to generate the cut list

26:00 The reason that didn't end up being exactly .75in, is you needed to measure with a 90° angle. Which would have probably needed a construction line for reference. Another thing you could have done is draw a line and use the parallel constraint, then dimension the 2 lines. Awesome video!!
