this becomes bonkers op when you add aristocracy runes to it. i run around with like 18 might on it.
I also add earth sigils.
You can even swap from corruption to blood magic on top of the death magic and you can face tank the entire world and still run around at like 12 might stacks. also i give up the white elixir for the black elixir and now you have three stun breaks and can get outta being locked down.
absolutely silly
with blood magic mega tanking, you can also just go undead runes and it is the quite possibly the tankiest spec in the game. i even give up the elixir trait cd reduction and take the poison on shroud skill 2 and even without the boon corrupt spam you can wear mostly anyone down.

Hi Jen, is it possible to choose deadly strength instead of dark defiance instead for additional power? Which one is better in your opinion?
Yes you can, imo the idea of death magic is going for sustain so that's why I choose those traits and rune, but it's up to you if you prefer Deadly Strength and could also choose Aristocracy runes for Might instead regeneration from torment. I will just play the Soul Reaping variant if i want to go for more damage tho, for me Death Magic is the way to go as bunker so I go to maximize that.
