Wish you would have mentioned the UNBELIEVABLE amount of work that the fan community have done to fix and patch this game and help maintain it over the years with the community patch.

What a garbage review if it even can be called that. Obfuscate needs more upgrades before you can interact freely with the environment, there is no need to battle the zombies in Hollywood as there is another way to finish that quest, you can check the quest journal to avoid "confusion", stealth isn't broken, sneak is a viable option instead of Obfuscate (you'd know if you tried), the maps have some shortcuts to make traveling a bit easier, Chastity comes out of the room but it may take a while to do so. Just off the top of my head. BTW most of the bugs have been fixed in the Unofficial Patch and general polish has been added as well as restored cut content.
VTMB is one of those few games that i play only for the characters dialogue and atmosphere. It's so good that i can almost ignore how clunky the gameplay can be.

Watching Strat try to play a Brujah and jump into melee without using Celerity is something special.

The "gotta get into House music" line has me rolling because it hits too close to home. 😅

I was completely obsessed with this game for like a year when it came out. I've put more hours into this 25 hour game than I have Skyrim. I've beaten it twice for each clan, one playthrough per gender. I actually did 3 or 4 Malk runs.
If I remember correctly troika were not allowed to use the full version of The source engine and were not allowed to release the game until after half life 2.
I was too young to be part of that subculture, but as a very young person I really wanted to get there. When I got old enough, it's all gone.
Regarding the stripper quest:
You know, as much as many reviews have explained the story, music and quest designs of this game, this is first review that perfectly explains my favourite aspect of the whole thing; the depiction of the nightlife.

There are many reasons to be concerned with VTMB2 production, like how they fired Mitsoda and Ka’ai to replace them with this Ubisoft guy, they almost removed every Chris Avellone contribution etc.
