I think the idea of making Peaks a Hidden Track is perfect. Peaks is such a polarizing track in CTGP, especially for the more casual players (Which is likely about as big as the competitive scene) who aren't used to the physics of the mushrooms, but it is very popular, so changing it as a Hidden Track would honestly be the best of both worlds, it would stop both sides of the spectrum from constantly complaining about it, the people who love/hate the track, and its current state in CTGP.

One of the reasons I can't get in MKWii as my main game, everytime I play I love the game and then I get all the ''way too hard tracks'' for a normal player and then I remember how I hate trying to learn this game playing these tracks. And Nintendo tracks are awesome but I get bored of them eventually.

I would like to see a sort of mario kart telephone game where you have like 5 people, the first person recreates a custom track that not many people know, and the rest of the people recreate their recreation very roughly with some sort of time limit to increase the jank level, and then maybe they could polish up the final version to make it more playable. I think that would be very interesting to see what comes of it
