    Well THIS is why I run super rich, bog down when warmed up and at idle, have crap economy and my intake looks like it's been used to cook a bunch of sewer carp.
    Remember to check the vac hose in the video folks, ALL the forums harp on about cleaning the EGR valve and passages, as if that is the CAUSE of the issues I stated, without questioning why the EGR/intake plenum gets so nasty in the first place. I just ordered one from ebay, hopefully this fixes the majority of my idel and fuel problems, my line was flooded with gas so it needs to go anyway.
    Thanks, Tony and Jen!

    Tony, great video. May I ask whether there is a difference between fuel filter for single injected Samurai to Multi point injection? I have a single injection Samurai and can not find an aftermarket fuel filter. will appreciate your advise.

    Hi, I would desperatly need some advice from you Suzuki experts. I have this problem with my x90 , 1997, engine running fine but when presssing accelerator the revs kind of stuck. If I rev it to 3000 and let of the pedal it sticks at 2500. First I thought I’d wa some mechanic obstruction, but not. The when the engine is warm, the revving is going up and down on its own. Where should I start the fault tracing?

    Hey all, I just purchased a 1995 Geo tracker, 1.6 L 4wd, manual, low rust, everything OG besides the hard top, 260k (150k highway miles) senior owned by an enthusiast who maintained it well. Never wheeled or abused. That being said, I thought I could get away with doing the head gasket but I’m being recommended a full rebuild or replacement. The good news is it’s not urgent, and that once I’m done there’s no reason it shouldn’t run til I drive it off a cliff. I’ve found some remanufactured engines but I’m skeptical, the Suzuki tech I had to rebuild only does head cylinders. It’s not urgent, so I want to consider all my options. Would like to buy something new if possible. I would also love a little more power if possible.This is going to mainly be a commuter and for camping, no serious off-road. Also putting a 2inch lift and 235/75 ATs under her after I get the engine done. Any recommendations for re manufactured, rebuilt, or different engines that could be compatible would be great. My first ever tracker but I have been watching this channel for a while, stoked for any advice folks may have

      Bought engine rebuild on eBay. 2" suspension lift from long time Zuki enthusiast on eBay for $100. Got 5 new 235/75r15... Once these are worn, I'll look at 225/85. I don't wheel as much (ahem, I'm actually faulting this rig) and think the proportions would look better. I'm going to swap the gears from an auto to reduce rpms by about 400.

    Can you help? I changed the fuel injectors and the fuel pressure regulator, put it all back together and now starts and revs to 4K RPM, then dies. No vacuum leaks, nothing else changed. new IAC is 400 dollars....geesh....I'm hoping that isn't it.

    So my geo does the same thing feel like it's running rich and won't start after it's warm...I replaced the pressure regulator still does the same thing. Does the fuel line return back to the fuel tank and could that line be clogged?

    • @meanjudd
      @meanjudd 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The fuel comes in the Fuel Dampner side right? then the fuel line coming out of the pressure regulator goes back to the tank?

    Gd job amigo myself I always kp everything new most every year reason to avoid problems and kp my Geo tracker running like new even the transmission fluid filter etc bearing like I said try to kp my legs strong and healthy I even have a couple engines and transmissions for spare thanks God I did because it hard to get the 16 valves engines anywhere even the junkyard don't have them at all.i myself love the 16 valves myself and I always run a transmission cooler on my to avoid future troubles I think maintenance is the key for the Geo tracker in my opinion but my is another level I build my myself and I can say big difference between now and stock fast and strong with my mods only all school style nothing fancy but sounds like ford with a cam in it I build my for highway and trails and every environment because my life style and my is automatic and shif every gear nice and smooth because I make sure that everything is right plus like I say everything is cheap compared to gas hugs and thousands of dollars rigs like this new crap around lately and still when I park around them they get mad because seems people always come to me saying I like you little truck and sound tuff oooooh amigo you have to see this people faces when they see children womens seniors and guys coming towards me to said you sale it or I like that little thing etc and really is the mountains style look simple but tuff looking and sounds like a Ford 289 with a cam in it I want to thank you for keeping the Suzuki alive amigo probably you see what I see the best little truck for regular or poor people to have take care and Felix navidad and prosper new year as well la familia
