- Love the 14" form factor but this ASUS Vivobook 14" just isn't ticking the boxes. Bad screen and a very unimpressive array of other features, we have a tough time recommending this one.

The ASUS Vivobook 14 (X1404) has an HD screen with i5 cpu and 16GB ram and 512GB NVME M.2. This is a great spec. Best price is £550 in UK.
The review is clearly for a much lower spec and older PC.
I just picked this up for $214/open box of course. Your description is spot on. It is meh, however, I think it will be the laptop I write my novel on.
Best of luck with your manuscript! $214 is a solid price!
I'm thinking about doing the same thing. Not to write a novel, but use it for very basic buisness site management and photo editing
Just bought this new for 200 at best buy (250 if i include the best buy membership) only reason i got it with the membership is so i can have the 60 day return window. I need a laptop for regular college stuff and i just need it to be super fast. Hope the SSD does its job.
Hope you enjoy it!
I ordered one at Best Buy for $226. I was disappointed that it only came with 128GB so I got a 1TB NVME for it. I'm also maxing the ram out to 16GB while I have it open. Just plan to use it with some light gaming and simple word processing.
Nice upgrades!
How about acer swift 3 oled display? Can u make a review of it.
I'll see if we can grab ahold of a review unit!
Look. I agree. What does anyone expect for the price? I know you haven’t given it the best review. But recently have you seen the price for this? Would this give you a better review?
Sub $300 on Amazon - if you're using it as a beater to check email and watch the ComputerStuff channel, you could do a lot worse. Not a bad price at all.
Is it normal for the Asus X1400E to have like a vibration on the back of the screen when plugged in on the power?
No I wouldn't think so.
My daughter had this less than 2 years.... it's done. I now have to replace it
Sorry to hear :(
@ComputerStuff she used it as a drawing tablet and I don't think it's designed for that. I'm thinking of a game plane. The laptop itself was not bad.
@@SherrellWrites I have a Asus Vivobook 14 from 2020 with a i5 10210u, and a mx250. It was about 550$ back then and it's fine, it does have a better display than the one on the video
@urlocalgrasshair7899 do you draw on it 5+ hours a day every day?
Do more something like this. Straight forward. No bullshiy
Thank you!
Chris I agree with you.
Thanks BMC868!
Thanks for the quick overview.
I am looking for a basic laptop and I'm in a hurry, but this one sounds a bit _too_ basic.
Skipping this one, will check out your suggestions.
You're welcome!
pause for breath man lol ffs 🤣🤣🤣
I can't, too much to say too little time!
