Please convince TJ to do a non-widebody kit with just the front bumper and side-skirts. Maybe even with a smaller rear splitter/bumper. I love the stock body lines of the 1st gen that get ruined by most of the widebody kits out there.
Som cars when u put a kit on em it takes away from the car alot n at times dnt look good at all. I really like the frs kit that boosted boiz Kyle had on the white giveaway frs he had that was a nice car there. I think I would've kept that car Kyle had wit the turbo K they put in it was a solid car n looks good wit kit

wait so how do you take off the rear bumper with this kit? the quarterpanel overfender is bolted to both the quarter and the bumper. Am i missing something?
You can get a 29 spline ring and pinion for those Toyota 8" diffs, my Mk3 uses the same diff with that upgraded ring and pinion and is doing just fine at 400whp, many others have pushed it past 700
Not a widebody guy but real excited to see what you do with it. TJ did a really good job with this kit and your style will be an amazing touch. So stoked for the next video Holy shit convert to 5x114.3 and run those LXZs. Way too hot
Stock body ZN6 chassis will fit a 18x9.5+38 with no issues as long as you have the adjustment with suspension. A good 265 tire will work wonders on a stock body, there’s no need to go wide unless you’re making a lot of jam. Also, if you’re looking for headlights, Morimoto are the go to. Don’t settle for garbage VLAND or anything else unless it’s the facelift Brz headlights
I'm not an 86 fan but this thing is turning out wicked. Love the build. But you never told us what the ultimate plan is. Drift, circuit, drag, burnout? So many possibilities.
So I believe it's the diff centre that's the weak spot. The OEM Torsen tends to shred the worm gears at high hp. If the ring and pinion are still ok, I'd suggest keeping the 86 diff and installing a KAAZ or something of the like. Unless the IS has longer ratios which might be better for the built 2J. Don't just throw in the IS diff without changing out the centre or this will happen again.

That body kit is just too bulky n top busy for me. I'm not a fan at all of the SH kits n those bigger wide bodies. I still stand that the only kit that looks good on FRS is the Rocket Bunny V1 kit or just simple bodykits that don't have over fenders that look like the old 80s BMW bodykits ud see drug dealers have in New York. Sorry Jimmy but I think u chose the wrong kit. I'm so glad Spoon isn't going that route. To each his own but idk dude
