    Does this work will the old ball magnetic mount or do I have to remove the old ball mount and get this new one

    At 0:40 it just skips right past how to open the camera to insert the battery. 😢 Arlo Pro 5S 2K.

    0.34 In reference to upgrading the software "you'll love", I do not. The previous version was super easy to setup schedules. Not sure I like the new widget style. Granted, I need to play around with the new version. At first glance, I'm not digging the APP's flow, but love Arlo cameras.

    My Arlo Pro 2 camera was just randomly de-activated, and the apparent reason is that it went EOL. Even though I have another identical camera that remains active. If this is how they roll (they say I need to have a subscription to re-activate it) then I would be stupid to keep using their cameras

      I have arlo pro 2 as well. No issues yet with cameras or free cloud storage.

We understand where are you coming from on our EOL update, however, we just want to assure you that we are committed to continuing to provide critical patch updates for 1 year beyond the EOL date. We want to clarify that only Arlo Wire-Free Camera (VMC3030) and Arlo Pro Camera (VMC4030) have an End of Life last July 1, 2023. If you have legacy cameras on your account, those cameras will still have access to the 7-day cloud storage. For full information on our End of Life policy, please see kb.arlo.com/000063018

    Updating firmware is taking a long time, Blue light turned to red blinking and then went off. Does that mean it finished updating?

      @@ArloSmartHome this is the latest version and i dont see the point of factory resetting because i havent connected my app to the device yet. I cant because there is no option for Arlo Pro 5s on the app. Only Arlo Pro 4. But i saw somewhere that its a regional issue. So it looks like my cameras are completely useless unless im in NZ UK or USA. Which im not. 🤦‍♂️

      @@sialeakauola4852 I’m having the same problem. The Pro 5 doesn’t show after updating and reinstalling the ArloApp.
      I bought a box with 3 Arlo! Which are now rubbish.

    Charged batter for a super long time once i got it out of box. Scanned qr code successfully bit then 2 red lights turn on and it shuts down every time
    Super frustrating! PLEASE HELP for a fix..

    I just purchased a Arlo Pro 5S and it will NOT connect at all. The cameras DO beep but after that the app will not find the camera. This is TRASH.

    I just bought 5s as I am unable to charge my previous camers maybe EOL. Now even this new camera does not charge.....not good at all

    My Arlo Pro 5S 2K is not connecting. I try sync and connect to 2.4 HZ network too ( turn off VPN and Bluetooth off too)
    I did everything it could look so many video in TH-cam and even connect with Arlo technical Support too. Why Arlo is pain when connecting camera compare to other security camera. It’s very frustrating to see this. Anything that I miss and help to connect with camera. 🙏

      Mine won't connect either, wtf
      EDIT: I got it working ten minutes later. My phone connected to "MY_WIFI" and the camera connected to "MY_WIFI-5G". That's why it wasn't connecting smoothly, look closely at the connected network.

    Just got the Pro 5s system and it doesn’t show on the list of Pro cameras. I hate to believe this country restrictions are true so please be careful when buying Arlo cameras. I spent so much money for this junk to find out it doesn’t work outside the US.
