Winn's Cafes, the Leicester Poor Boys and Girls' leaving the Great Northern Railway Station in 1920 for Mablethorpe, the 'Leicester Guild of the Crippled' visit Scraptoft Hall in 1930, the R101 airship passes over Leicester in 1930, a fair at Blackbird Road held during wartime, Kenwood and Humberstone Lidos, factory outings, ARP activities, gas masks and stirrup pumps, parades, street parties. All scenes that show how the city has altered.
