The best advice/quote ever: "you should go to the store often. if anything in house last longer than two weeks, you probably don't want to eat it. Real food goes bad. Real food spoils."

I definitely can relate to your view point. Came to US 2 years ago and this is exactly what the young generation needs to know. Back in my home country we get fresh vegetables/live meat every morning, prepare lunch/dinner and finish it for the day. Repeat the whole process next day. We usually not preserve food more than a day (even in refrigerator).

Easy to follow. Solid information at every turn (the way the conversation flows). A GREAT segment with two outstanding features; the ease with which the interviewee delivers knowledgeable answers that are economical and chock full of info, and the "down to earth" approach to questions and light touch of the interviewer who extracts solid and useful answers from the coach. GOOD STUFF!!!

Work out you TDEE calories then decide if you want to bulk or cut either add 500 calories or take them away
The set your protein to 0.8g - 1.3g lower end if your bulking / higher end if u cutting
Set your fats at 25% - 30% your daily calories
Then fill the remaining calories in with carbs

  • @mayukhsen8195
    @mayukhsen8195 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

High carb, adequate protein(eat 30 grams more protein than your rda intake of protein, your rda is 0.8grams of protein per kilo of your body weight), low fat (exclude oil, butter etc entirely from your diet, your fat intake will be sufficient if you only ate grains, lentils, veggies and Greek yogurt and nothing else), eat a whole food plant based diet for maximum success in terms of nutrition, exclusion of animal products will make your muscles recover faster than ever.

Zone diet is great so is the Paleo diet which are similar, I have seen drastic results combined with proper living style habits. But it's not recommended for long periods of time, depending on individual. I personally always recommend eating like your great-grandparents did local, seasonal, organic, varied, fresh, with introduction of fermented foods abundant in the past, with multitude of benefits and not forgetting clean quality water and oxygen your first nutrients.

Excellent, it looks he actually could do a longer vid (e.g. 30 min) with more detail and tips, what better source than from someone with the applied knowledge. Very helpful, hope Chavez Jr takes note on the dehydration part, I am pretty sure he will end up brain-damaged (if not already) if he keeps doing that practice (and if he ever fights again), can't believe he is allowed to do that at all by his team, it just too dangerous.

Couple Quality locally raised Beef meals every week is optimal. From past experience, when I didn't eat beef I felt weak and my endurance stayed the same or lessoned from just chicken mostly and a bit of fish. If you include all types of proteins.. Chicken, beef, tuna, trout/Salmon, even things like scallops and muscles, your body will have all different amino acids and you'll feel real good, and perform well in the gym and on the road/Hills.

  • @buzzkill808raven2

the problem with eating carbs protein etc at the same meal, is that their digestive counterparts fuck with each other. It's like mixing baking soda and vinegar. Keep starches, sugars, protein, and fat separate from each other. Mix them with most vegetables

Carbs are not a bad thing but it's the type of carb that you have to worry about. Grains are not a good source of carbs, veggies and fruits are a good source. You don't want to eat too much fructose though. Saturated fat is not bad for you, again it's the source of the saturated fat. cows that are fed grains and growth hormones are not a good source of fat but grass fed cows have a good source of fat and have CLA (Conjugated linoleic acids) coconut oil is also good source of saturated fat.

I dont know, I would say a boxer should eat:
35% protein from fish, chicken, protein powder, and eggs.
35% carb from veggies and oatmeal, no sugar except after workouts.
30% fat from Avacados, seeds, and nuts.
Fighters need carbs to stay punching fast, fat to stay energized and to keep goin, and less protein than a bodybuilder since carbs would be more useful.

if you''re a boxer period I think its best like if you''re an amateur or a just turned professional to follow macros it'll help you maintain your weight keeping you full and as a result if someone calls you for a fight you''re always on weight and ready... when you become somewhat known in boxing a bit . then maybe you can gain 10 15 lbs in between fights cause now you have 2 months until the fight. due to time to promote the fight & because fighters have to lose wight no secrect... hope that make sense.. i learned the hard way it actually isnt so bad eating clean still tasty and IM FULL AND MAINTAING the weight thats the best thing

A lot of bunk nutrition knowledge here unfortunately. The brain is not almost exclusively run off carbs, you can run your brain off almost entirely ketones, it does still require some glucose but even that can be converted from fat/protein from a process called gluconeogenesis. You also have Ultra Marathon runners who run off predominantly fat/ketones
