Pro Tip: Pick up handguards, when you see them as a scav. they take up one slot and you can put a foregrip, sight and usually 2 light/laser combos on them. You get 4 Spaces for the price of one
@@Luke117-r2x The chad meta for handguards is using the aks74u gastube with a xrsu (if you dont have the gas tube the xrsu is 1x2 slot), that way you can have 2 sights (1 big, 1 small/ 2 small), 2 lights and a handgrip.

Great tips Airwing, cheers! In return here are my stash management tips from me, a proud and experienced 2nd wipe player: 1) play for 2 weeks and save for a junkbox 2) sell more 3) die more
I will make it easier for you. Sell everything you get at the beginning of the wipe, aside from meds and pistols and pistol ammo, shove meds in your secure container and go on night woods. Kill some scav for immediate upgrade in firepower (sniper scav has really good weapons 90% of the time, sometimes give you free NVG as well which is for you to use or 50k pure profit) and hit all food and valuables spawn for high value vendor items (condensed milk, vodka, whisky, moonshine, gold chains, cats, lions, ravens, cocks, clocks, badges, etc bitcoins, also check weapon mod spawns for silencers and nvgs since they vendor for quite good price - anything that sells to vendor for decent money). After 3 raids you will have enough money to buy your Junkbox, no need to wait 2 weeks for it xD
A great tip for you @Airwingmarine since I hear you saying this lot, that you are not sure what level an item is unlocked, if you don't know at what trader level an item unlocks, you can mouse over the "locked" text in the flee market, and it will tell you what trader level it needs, or it will tell you that you need a quest to unlock it. Great video as always!
I'd like to point out that using 2 CSA rigs from level 1 ragman stores the same amount of space as 1 azimut and also takes up the same space (also two 2x3 slots is easier to play tetriz with than a full size azimut). It also gives you the option to store two 3 slot items per CSA rig - I have like 20 of these as a standard user and it helps so much when paired with a scav case.
Great tip, I knew the CSA were good but it never dawned on me that 2 were the same size as 1 azimuth. Plus the added bonus of 3 slotters. Will be using this tip, good looking out my man.
This is a very good advice, never realised this as I pretty much never buy rigs and these rarely if ever spawn on SCAVs. Now that I think if it I rarely buy anything, 99% of my gear and ammo is FIR xD
Love your work bro cause you don't hold things back, a guide of 'future quest items' to hold would be very useful for us who are on 1st 2nd playthrough and never reached 40+ levels yet
If you're planning to get Red Rebel and don't want to grind Shturman, spend millions on flea or painstakingly look for propane tanks (they're very common... UNTIL you're looking for them...) - buy them now, they're cheap as chips and will go up in price in the future.
This old guy like me doing videos of a game I love just got me. We are the same age playing games in an industry where 35+ are not the main target. Love you and I let here my sub.
When I saw you not know if the SVD mags were Prapor lvl4 or locked behind a quest it struck me that you may not know you can hover over where the purchase button would be. Doing this tells you either the trader level required or if a missions needs to be completed to unlock the trade (just in general won't tell which quest it'd be).
1:50 Props for pointing out that the "magazine handling" solution is not to "sell all your mags" but rather, to sell those mags that you either can buy or will not use. the Azimuts are great at the start wehn you cant get the flea as they are pretty common, but when you have the flea.. the MPPV is much better. usually similar cost on the flea but has 24 slots. 4 MPPV rigs in an items case, then space for extras also. lots of storage!

all of these videos you make, are just zero bs. right to the point. and its information that I can immediately gain from. A lot of the content creators in this game are just making reaction vids about making 3 mil in a raid with the googly eyes thumbnail. but your videos are making my first wipe a lot more fun and easier.
The grip and mag trick may be a life saver, thanks for that. Gonna go try and apply some of these tricks after work and hope I regain some sanity. EOD edition and my stash is still full, someone call Hoarders!
My friends made fun of me for taking off parts off my guns and using vest as extra storage 😭 im new to the game (just went through my first wipe after 3 weeks on the game) and i figured all that out on my own. Except the firts part about what parts to sell/keep didnt know that so THANK YA!! Edit: another way to expand storage is to add all the attachments you can onto the handguards with rails. You can add lazer/flash amd sometimes reddots on them.
This game is 50% inventory managment and flea market trading. About 30% is scav runs and upgrading your kit. Then you have maybe 20% of the game that's actually PMC runs.
Shotgun sprut - takes up one cell, but can hold up to three different lights and attachments, also some handguards while take up 2 slots, can hold 6 or more attachments. I take them to raid with me.
Hey man, i have only recently come across your tarkov videos, i have been playing on and off the past two years and watched many videos on the game but none of them explain things as good as you do, you think of all the players who are starting out and help them with tips and tricks which i think is great. I have learned more from your videos in the space of a few days than i have all year watching others. Top work and keep posting all this juicy info!!
There's a little more poor man's stash tips I always had to use due to playing on a Standard account: 1. Before playing as a Scav, I equip the biggest guns on my PMC and fill my backpack, vest, secure container and pockets, to have enough space to unload Scav loot I later sell. 2. Sometimes taking some weapon parts apart doesn't save you space directly, but ends up with a two smaller items or similar you can put into vests, saving some space. 3. Shoving ammo into magazines and weapon chambers sometimes saves you a slot or two, especially without a weapon case early on the wipe 4. If you don't have anything to craft, you don't take out items out of hideout crafting station, to avoid cluttering the inventory. 5. You can put weapon parts and magazine into weapon case, if you manage to get that early. I think the same applies to pistol case, too.
ill add my own few tips here in case anyone reads them: 1) you can buy picatinny risers for 9k on the flea, and if you mount a scope that takes 2x1 slots on it, it turns it into a 1x1. 2) instead of azimut rigs, you can buy MPPV rigs, they give you 4 extra 1x1 slots on top of the azimut's 10 2x1s. i have 2 of them to store my weapon mods in and stuff. 3) if you store flashlights and things for your builds, you can buy/find one of those shotgun tri rail things, theyre super cheap and easy to find, and you can attach 3 attachments to them for a 75% reduction in space usage.
I didn't really NEED this video but I watched 2 of your other ones and then this one is just good information. So I had to come and "like" it as well. Great videos man. !! Cheers mate.
Finding out that i should sell mags which i can buy from a trader was a massive space saver for me, apparently i could not figure out that myself so thanks a bunch!
This wipe, I've rushed cases. - 2 Scav Junkboxes before lvl 15, 3rd directly after. - Barter for Holodinik from running into Goshan (2x, saving for 3rd) - Barter for Medcases (sucks now, needs med tools), 2x - 2 Ammo boxes, bartered - Dogtag case - 1 Grenade and Mag case each, crafted - 2 Docs cases to hold all keys That is over 6M in cases, but I never even had to consider to put everything in rigs and I want them later anyway. Sold almost all weapons/parts to flea or vendors. I also insure almost nothing, as insurance early is a waste. I'm outleveling the stuff that comes back 1.5d later.
Another tip: grab the 'spruts' off of shotguns and you can add 3 flashlights and/or laser pointers on them 3=1! Turn them all on before you install and then drop the whole shebang in a raid...a little mini wtf/ foolio for night visions~
Love the thumbnail. Seeing you improve your craft the past year has been quite something to watch. Keep on grinding brother. I believe one day you’ll be one of the biggest CC’s in the Tarkov community. P.S. Thank you for your service and sacrifice to preserve and protect our country!
Really appreciate the support bud! It's been a long year, but we are pushing 50k which is one of those mid tier goals that always feels out of reach, but were about to blow through it.
Tarkov Tracker is a handy tool too. Before I toss future quest/hideout items into my junkboxes or rigs I mark them off on TT. Saves me from holding onto stuff I've already found, but can't find in my tetris mess of nested backpacks and rigs. Also reminds me of stuff I might not remember I should hold onto.
The true way of learning stash management is by playing on a standard account. Gotta love when EOD players occasionally complain about their stash being full then in the corner we the standard users sit needing 39.2mil Roubles (Not including Peacekeeper, Ragman 4 and generator, workbench, heating 3 AND intelligence 2) just goes to show what grind EOD users skip by paying an absurd amount of money for a "Beta"(But don't worry it'll get out of beta now that Nikita is done with his hollywood dreams). Just play the game right? Yeah initial good standing with traders would also be nice needing less tasks to get to those level 4 traders(Looking at you Jaeger). Cool video though, very informative.
Anything which can go into a LSJB should - that's a 12:1 size reduction. I found it useful to have two LSJBs - one for quest & hideout items and one for "sell / craft when full". Ammo, Mag & grenade cases are cheap per slot saved. (Save more space by loading up the mags with ammo.) Use doc cases instead of key tools for keys - half the cost.
@Lucianonafi if you have internet to bitch and moan on, and a gaming computer, you can probably afford another 70 bucks on a video game.. and if you can't, it's not comparable to being homeless you twat
@@daboo6770 bro some of us save up for years getting a good pc and all the necessities to play tarkov, some of us don't have another $70+ to dish out on this game and just want to play it
"I swear there's something in the game ..." I have been saying this for ages. I strongly believe that loot is loaded per client and the person that opens the case is the one that determines what's in it. And that's why you should NEVER accept a task for found in raid items until AFTER you have found the items. Just look up the task on the wiki for what items you'll need, collect them and accept the task after you've found them. For car repair this wipe, I found all the spark plugs and 3 of the 4 batteries. Cannot tell you how many batteries I came across on scav runs and PMC runs and didn't take them because I had way better loot. I accidentally accepted the task not realizing I was short a battery and never saw another battery again until after I bought a tank battery, crafted the car batteries and turned in the task. And now, car batteries all over the place again.
Wish you would've mentioned the b-11 I think it's called its the 74u rail guard and can have either 2 or 3 lasers/flashlights and a foregrip and it only takes one slot so that's a major tip.
i think the biggest tip is when you have weapons and helmets and such clogging your stash tell yourself "a 15min scav run will net 200k+. if i sell this gun, headset, helmet, etc. and buy it back, how much money per time am i making/losing?" i.e. if i spend 5-10min per raid orgainsing stash to save a little bit of space each time. after 2 raids i would have wasted more than if i just sold it all and then did a scav run and buy it all back for when i need it. and again, 200k+ is a decent bit of guns, headsets, and armor when you consider that you got half that items value when you sold it. In conclusion. SELL EVERYTHING EVEN NICE LEVEL 4 ARMOR cause you make more roubles per hour selling it and doing a scav later than you do reorganizing for 10+min every single raid. Also with a clear stash you can then always do a 5min total factory scav extract run and make an additonal 100k per raid. something that no one does cause they dont have the stash space for rig, backpack, gun, armor, headset, and helmet.
Man I love your videos dude. Your super informative and even though I'm a total noob all this info is great. Please keep giving to the Tarkov Community! Your content is great!
Early wipe i use CSA rigs to help with early item management. The CSA is a 2X3 that gives 10 slots of space. The CSA is available for everyone at level 1 and helps me until I get bigger rigs
i keep a big space at the top i call it my "landing pad" to quick move stuff out of scav raids or if im sorting i can ctrl+click stuff into my backpack and out again. cheers!
Even as an eod player I was filled to the brim with loot. When u play for awhile u get so good and before lvl 15 and scav junk box it's so rough. I had like 3 mill in my stash.
Yea you also keep shit because you know it's gonna be fucking annoying to get later on when you actually need it. I have 3 junkboxes filled with shit and 0 empty slot in stash...
1.5k hrs. 5 wipes and now im back again and this is still a huge pain in the ass, hopefully there are some early game advices cuz when i get into the game and get my first stash upgrade i usually manage quite good
@@Airwingmarine yea i knew all of them but the video was still good and easy to watch, always glad to see your content its really useful for people like me that dont play through the whole wipe and want to know whats up with prices etc
I haven't seen any message on this and sadly I rarely see it come up. Ever heard of the trax handguard? Get a trax 1, trax 2, trax bridge, 4 small rails. 1x1 slot that can hold a foregrip, 1x sight, top rail laser, and 5 lasers/flashlights.
Amazing video as always. I didn't know about that medical backpack :) As a base account it's always a struggle to save up rubles (and find all the items, if you want to do it before flea) to get Stash lvl 2. But I don't mind it
Base account bros unit! But seriously, my playbook is save for stash upgrade/look for stash upgrade specific items. I sell everything else. Once I have enough for stash upgrade I save and buy 2-3 scav junk boxes. Once I obtain 2 scav junk boxes I switch from mass selling almost all random items to collect hideout/quest items.
@@Manuel96OMG that's what I'm stuck finding. Usually have no issue finding them on interchange scav runs. But this wipe zero, but already iv found a few thermites.
I've found it super useful to take my attachments I find in raid, and the ones I like I attach them to my weapons anywhere I can. End up upgrading weapons to have meta handguards and they end up having 3 sights, 2 flashlights a front grip. Lol they start looking ridiculous but hey it's free storage
what are your thoughts on the LBT-1961A Load Bearing chest rig ? its a 3x3 18 slot which is the same 2.0 efficiency as the vsmpp but that one has 2 4 slot areas, and the 3x3 is easier to play tetris with when sorting. im still not lvl 15 but im debating on buying one of those, or maybe even the 2x3 CSA because it has 2 3 slot areas and a 2x3 is even easier to sort with. first time player btw, hence me not knowing what rigs to use
I'm just a newbee in tarkov but i saw that ACOG sight that take 2 slots can be put on Carrying handels, so they together take 1 slot, came across this when i was sorting my inv, i don't know if it intended/common knowledge but it can be a neat trick to save few squares
Great video! Although I already do many of these things there is a few little things I don’t do myself that would help me overall, aswell this is a great resource I will be showing my friends as they all have problems with stash space and I’m bad at explaining how to manage it. Thanks again for a helpful video!
I'm fluent in both languages (Ukrainian dude raised in Canada). "Obdolbos" is the Russian word for getting "fucked up" or "high". It's actually pronounced Awb-doll-boss. "Odobolis" does have a nice ring to it though lol.
You should get a recording of the hideout that's a long stationary shot of different areas so when you use the backdrop for intros you can see the lights flickering and shit. Would be extra af
@@shibxarmy9333 Yup, and it's not full price. It's the EOD version minus what you spent already. But there should be a sale in a few months if your interested in that. There is always one in October for either V-day or BSG birthday. Can't remember which.
The one thing I strongly advise against, is not stacking your bags. If your goal is to save space, you can pack all those bags into the pilgrim, and then use a scav junk box which is available at lvl1 Therapist to store streamer items. 5 times as efficient
I also really like the CSA rig for storage sice it only takes 6 slots (2x3) and gives you 10 slots and it has place for 2 mags that are 3 long And it's also really cheap as well :))
You mentioned you don't know if the svd mags are prapor lvl 4 or behind a task, if you go to the flea and search for it, you can mouse over the top right of the trader listing and it'll say unlocked after a certain level or unlocked after a task Small tip but kinda helpful to gauge how far away you are from some items
Surprised u didn’t mention the sorting table. Hit the button and u get a free box to hold things while u manage inventory. Rly helpful when ur tryin to move things and don’t wanna scroll a ton.
I found if you have the money having one scav box for single slot items and one for 2 slot Items is better and all the rest should be placed into bags and rigs also I think having attachments is a bit excessive as unless you use them I have no need for them I do have eod so I have plenty of space but my stash looks pretty well kept because I don’t have stuff like attachments around and I have a few guns fully put together so I can just grab and go I don’t have to search for the pistol grip sometimes it’s best to not preemptively buy mags they are relatively cheap and you don’t need a 2k mag sitting in your inventory for days keep the ammo you use and might want to keep and sell the ammo you won’t also don’t flood your inventory with scav weapons they just jam when you need them the most I just sell them same with scav vest and backpacks if I don’t need them I sell them keep what you will need and what you do need don’t have stuff for a raid 10 days from now especially if you have the standard version
I legitimately can't wait till I can access the flee and be able to complete the barters for some of the cases. Been busting my ass doing quests while trying to make a little bit of money on the side, and with all the collected future quest items, insurance returns (b/c apparently Scavs were *CRACKED* yesterday with all the head-eyes) and useful gear, I'm practically playing one game (Tetris) inside another game (EFT). I assume I'll get there eventually xD

ill add my own few tips here in case anyone reads them:
1) you can buy picatinny risers for 9k on the flea, and if you mount a scope that takes 2x1 slots on it, it turns it into a 1x1.
Glad I could help
This wipe, I've rushed cases.
- 2 Scav Junkboxes before lvl 15, 3rd directly after.
- Barter for Holodinik from running into Goshan (2x, saving for 3rd)
- Barter for Medcases (sucks now, needs med tools), 2x
- 2 Ammo boxes, bartered
- Dogtag case
- 1 Grenade and Mag case each, crafted
- 2 Docs cases to hold all keys
That is over 6M in cases, but I never even had to consider to put everything in rigs and I want them later anyway. Sold almost all weapons/parts to flea or vendors. I also insure almost nothing, as insurance early is a waste. I'm outleveling the stuff that comes back 1.5d later.
I've seen loads of med tools last couple of days. Prices are down also.
This is kinda my goal every wipe tho I always struggle to buy docs cases don't know why I struggle to spend on them but I do
Med Tools are super easy to find as of today.
Why insurance early is a waste? @Airwingmarine Is it? Could be a discussion on this.
@@armorose As I wrote youre outleveling the gear you get back, if you play correctly.
I thought i had inventory figured out - i was wrong!
Med-Backpack as cheap Medcase - genious!
It's been a long year, but we are pushing 50k which is one of those mid tier goals that always feels out of reach, but were about to blow through it.
buddy of mine showed you to me and youve been a huge help, thank you
Glad I could help
thank so much! taking the grip off itself is a game changer for me and worth watching alone.
Subscribed when you only had 6k followers bro! Keep it up you rock!!!
Appreciate it!!
You can buy eod too.. nobody feels bad
someone set up a gofundme for this boy's eod
Anything which can go into a LSJB should - that's a 12:1 size reduction. I found it useful to have two LSJBs - one for quest & hideout items and one for "sell / craft when full". Ammo, Mag & grenade cases are cheap per slot saved. (Save more space by loading up the mags with ammo.) Use doc cases instead of key tools for keys - half the cost.
This just in! Sticking bags in bags of the same size then putting those bags in a pilgrim saves a lot of space!
EOD player : damn my inventory is full so fast.
STD player : Inv full in literally 2 raids
You can buy eod too
@@daboo6770 Hungry? Just buy some food, duh.
Homeless? Just buy a house, lmao.
@Lucianonafi if you have internet to bitch and moan on, and a gaming computer, you can probably afford another 70 bucks on a video game.. and if you can't, it's not comparable to being homeless you twat
@@daboo6770 bro some of us save up for years getting a good pc and all the necessities to play tarkov, some of us don't have another $70+ to dish out on this game and just want to play it
"I swear there's something in the game ..."
I have been saying this for ages.
Game is rigged, you can not convince me otherwise
"The truth is... The game has been rigged from the start"
Your tutorial videos on Escape From Tarkov have been extremely helpful to me as a beginner. Thank you.
Wish you would've mentioned the b-11 I think it's called its the 74u rail guard and can have either 2 or 3 lasers/flashlights and a foregrip and it only takes one slot so that's a major tip.
Nice! I've been excited for a video like this!
Hope you like it!
i think the biggest tip is when you have weapons and helmets and such clogging your stash tell yourself "a 15min scav run will net 200k+. if i sell this gun, headset, helmet, etc. and buy it back, how much money per time am i making/losing?" i.e. if i spend 5-10min per raid orgainsing stash to save a little bit of space each time. after 2 raids i would have wasted more than if i just sold it all and then did a scav run and buy it all back for when i need it. and again, 200k+ is a decent bit of guns, headsets, and armor when you consider that you got half that items value when you sold it.
Thanks, will do!
Early wipe i use CSA rigs to help with early item management. The CSA is a 2X3 that gives 10 slots of space. The CSA is available for everyone at level 1 and helps me until I get bigger rigs
My favorite bag is the blue scab bag you can put an endless amount of the same bag inside that one
Yo Airwingmarine can you do a video on how i should manage the clutter in my room?
Get a neat freak wife/girlfriend but don't have kids.....
i keep a big space at the top i call it my "landing pad" to quick move stuff out of scav raids or if im sorting i can ctrl+click stuff into my backpack and out again.
cheers!
YOOO THAT INTRO BACKGROUND IS SO BADASSSS
Even as an eod player I was filled to the brim with loot. When u play for awhile u get so good and before lvl 15 and scav junk box it's so rough. I had like 3 mill in my stash.
Yea you also keep shit because you know it's gonna be fucking annoying to get later on when you actually need it. I have 3 junkboxes filled with shit and 0 empty slot in stash...
Great tips, btw, the best rig now to safe space and put your stuff is the "MPPV", but doesn't have 2x2 slots
I couldn’t imagine not being eod. I upgraded last wipe and man the struggle I’m dealing with now as eod.
The power move of having standard EoT and filling your stash with rigs to have effectively the same amount of space as the most expensive edition.
EOD and a stash full of rigs =P
1.5k hrs. 5 wipes and now im back again and this is still a huge pain in the ass, hopefully there are some early game advices cuz when i get into the game and get my first stash upgrade i usually manage quite good
Most of these are useful regardless of early wipe, big stash, little stash, or anything in between.
I didn't know about that medical backpack :)
As a base account it's always a struggle to save up rubles (and find all the items, if you want to do it before flea) to get Stash lvl 2.
@@smithz800 The items for Stash lvl 2 that usually take me the most to find are the four small WD-40s, this wipe I already have two haha
They're more expensive rouble wise but the "Velocity Systems Multi-Purpose Patrol Vest" or MPPV is the best rig for storing items. 24 slots for 12.
what are your thoughts on the LBT-1961A Load Bearing chest rig ? its a 3x3 18 slot which is the same 2.0 efficiency as the vsmpp but that one has 2 4 slot areas, and the 3x3 is easier to play tetris with when sorting. im still not lvl 15 but im debating on buying one of those, or maybe even the 2x3 CSA because it has 2 3 slot areas and a 2x3 is even easier to sort with.
first time player btw, hence me not knowing what rigs to use
@@Big-Government-Is-The-Problem It's probably the best choice if you're storing 2x2 items such as helmets. The MPPV only has 1x2 and 1x1 slots.
Saved up for first stash upgrade and should be able to expand it today.
But lack of cases is a real struggle
Great video. Lots of good points
Glad you think so!
This my 4th wipe and I learned a thing or two. Thanks!
Man, I wish BSG would just add the option to lock an objects position and not be affected by the 'sort' button. How cool would that be.
I've been told it's in the works.
What a great vid sir! Thanks for all your content and help.
Keep up the good work marine, 👏 Love the content.. Love you too my bro
Thanks! Will do!
@@Airwingmarine bro quick question... if I bought the standard version can I still buy the version for the gamma?
@@shibxarmy9333 Yup, and it's not full price. It's the EOD version minus what you spent already. But there should be a sale in a few months if your interested in that. There is always one in October for either V-day or BSG birthday. Can't remember which.
@@Airwingmarine thank you! I guess I'll hit up that sale
Man, this was so helpful, thank you
this helped me so much thank you!!! subscriber for life!!
Thank you for this video man.
Glad it was helpful!
The one thing I strongly advise against, is not stacking your bags. If your goal is to save space, you can pack all those bags into the pilgrim, and then use a scav junk box which is available at lvl1 Therapist to store streamer items. 5 times as efficient
I also really like the CSA rig for storage sice it only takes 6 slots (2x3) and gives you 10 slots and it has place for 2 mags that are 3 long
And it's also really cheap as well :))
Taught me if I remove a weapon part I get more space, that made the video worth it by itself
Finally I have cleared up a lot of stash space
Godly content creator
Thanks!
You mentioned you don't know if the svd mags are prapor lvl 4 or behind a task, if you go to the flea and search for it, you can mouse over the top right of the trader listing and it'll say unlocked after a certain level or unlocked after a task
Small tip but kinda helpful to gauge how far away you are from some items
why was I recommended this 24 seconds after it was posted
Called being a sub
Another great video brother, packed fulll of helpful tips and info. Way to kill it
Great information marine
Im on my third junk box so far lmao. Also medcases and the food cooler from jaeger are amazing investments
i need your hideout tips ASAP !!! been loving your vids god knows how long.
Coming soon!
I spent like 1 mil on stash pieces and the hideout this morning. Thank god for passive income and high scav karma🙃
Surprised u didn’t mention the sorting table. Hit the button and u get a free box to hold things while u manage inventory. Rly helpful when ur tryin to move things and don’t wanna scroll a ton.
Some great help, cheers.
How to keep your stash clean. Know the game perfectly before you start. That’s pretty much the only way.
super helpful thanks brotha
