Guerlain is such a classy house. They have kept up with the times and they still deliver beautiful fragrances.. I've always loved their vetiver ❤️❤️🦄🦄

I love the L'homme Ideal line of Guerlain (EDP, Extreme, Cool), but a 10/10 still surprised me. I'm going to try this one out. Hope you're staying safe and well, see you soon.

Guerlain is my favorite perfume house. Love their style, philosophy, and the respect they have for the art. Yet, I have not tried any from this particular range of theirs even though many people have raved about it. You have inspired me to move it up my list of "fragrances to sample." Looking forward to more reviews from this line.
This one ☝🏽 is very nice one from Guerlain. I have Santal Royal and Encens Mythique...... you need to try those 2. Very nice and elegant and classy house. Very good review.

Guerlain’s Santal Royal is their best seller from the oriental line that Ardent is from. They also came out this year with a middle eastern coffee fragrance called Epices Exquis.
Santal royal by guerlain is the best from their range in my opinion

Guerlain excels at "timeless and classic". You should look at their "L'Homme Ideal" line. I find that the EDT and Cologne are my favorites from the House. Many people prefer the EDP, but I think L'Homme Ideal EDT is the best in that line.
Gurlain Homme and also L'Instant EDP are amazing as well. Another great review, Aaron.

Great review! I love Guerlain. Before I smelled my first Guerlain I also thought it would be outdated etc. Same reaction as you had after smelling Guerlain. Absolutely stunning perfume house.
Love Guerlain. I have the Santal Royal from this line, and may need to add this Patchouli to the collection.
damn santal royal is gem. quite similar to egoiste by chanel but much more richier and projecting/long lasting. outstanding composition by thierry wassier
I am actually not surprised by your rating, even though I haven't got my nose on this one I am sure it's as beautiful as you say, wait until you smell the rest of the collection, I have three of them, Cuir Intense, Santal Royal and Ambre Eternel, they're all thick, resinous, sensual, mature and unapologetically animalic, absolutely fantastic.
I know you fragrance channel but I watch you for ASMR, your voice and the pauses gives me tingles
I find this gentleman very charming.
Guerlain was an old house. Now it's owned by LVMH. I enjoy the videos and I'm always tuning in but I simply don't care about these conglomerate fragrances.

Santal Royal and Oud Essentiel really love those. Will give this a sniff next week.
I have Bois Mysterieux and Encens Mythique . Both are masterpieces.
The ambergris in Encens is out of this world always get compliments when we wear it. My daughter wears Bois Mysterieux and she loves it too.
Please review African Leather by Memo. Truly one the most unique fragrances I've ever smelled!

I love it, it's the ultimate "dry" patchouli+rose combo.
No ethyl maltol whipping through the base on this one then I take it. I will have to get a sample ❤️🦄

Trigger warning..."old lady like"!!!!!!!! PC concerns aside what a wonderful open dynamic review, a few pre conceptions acknowledged and moved past, a lot of good vibes and positive vibrations and some glints of genuine enthusiasm. For a classic old patchouli fan like myself this is an invitation for an online browse with a view to a purchase. Topped off with the cherry on the cake being Aaron rocking an Alpha Industries NASA sweat top which I must admit had me bemused for a few moments. Life is sweet.
Reminds me very much of Couer du Desert by Tauer...both really gorgeous.

The entire Les Absolus d'Orient line from Guerlain is fantastic, high quality and classic but modern, I've tried all but Patchouli Ardent but was certainly interested in it when it was released. I trust your judgement! Your eyes lit up as soon as you smelled it, you should try some others from this line, as well as other classics. Thank you Aaron! 🦄

Aaron, I love Guerlain fragrances. I have not tried Patchouli Ardent but I am going to the mall on Tuesday and I will try this fragrance. If you are rating the fragrance a 10, it must be great. I have great respect for your trained nose.

Okay, seeing this and knowing I have it on my shelf and proudly wearing it is great. My atomizer is problematic, but I don’t care. I learned the technique and I apply it without problem. Everyone who hesitate, get it. Everyone loves it! So pleasant, yet strong and inviting fragrance!
Buy a high quality atomizer (aluminum shell, glass inner vial, cut off opening in the aluminum shell to see the perfume level inside the glass with a bottom filling opening), and toss away the Guerlain atomizer, and just keep refilling your travel atomizer.
Just got my bottle of Maverick. I've gotten a good response from the coworkers and my wife loves the plum note in it.
The performance and projection are excellent. I do not often like fragrance with a dark fruity sweet sort of thing But Maverick sits right in the sweet spot of what I find palatable.

Guerlain is one of my favourite Houses. I love my Vetiver Extreme, Habit Rouge and I'Deal Cologne. My next purchase from the House will most likely be either L'Instant De Guerlain Pour Homme or I'Deal EDP.

My favorite house. So many classics: L’Instant de Guerlain EDP or EDT, Homme EDP, Homme L’eau Boiseé, Habit Rouge EDT, Heritage EDT, Vetiver, Ideal EDP, Ideal Cologne, … etc.

I find I'm not a big fan of patchouli-centric perfumes that try to balance out the dirty feel with clean/soapy vibes. Tom Ford's Patchouli Absolute does this too. I much prefer Santa Maria Novella's approach with their Patchouli that embraces the earthy/dirty feel and pushes it into damp, herbaceous territory.

The only one I really like from this house is L'homme Ideal EDP (the cherry one), nearly finished a bottle with another 100ml on stanby 🤗
Patchouli Ardent does however do not resemble anything from the Ideal line ;)

Aaron I love that you put real oud in your fragrances, but I'm not big on rose, personally. Do you have a fragrances that you would recommend to someone like me, somebody who loves oud but not rose?
