Great review Aaron . I have this fragrance . I agree it’s the most westernised and mass appealing from this house . It’s my favourite house overall though some of their work is hard to appreciate .
I like this scent but it also reminds me of Le Malle by JPG a lot which just bugs the crap out of me. But Reflection man isn’t quite as sweet and smells more opulent and also the longevity is better…
Awesome review! Actually this was my first niche fragrance. The first time I smelled something has changed in my mind. Didn’t know that fragrance could be also and art form, and Reflecion Man is exactly that. Much love from Brazil 🇧🇷
I love Amouage, really delved into this house more so lately, Reflection Man is fantastic, trouble is once I smell it I want to wear it all the time like a signature fragrance but at the price (well worth it) I have to treat it as a special occasion fragrance instead 🤣. I think my favourite fragrance from Amouage would have to be Myths Man just so unique please review Myths if you get the chance, if not any other Amouage would do! (I've seen all your other Amouage reviews). Amouage is in my top 3 fragrance houses.
I don't like floral smelling scents at all, but I got a sample set from amouage and this massively surprised me despite smelling extremely floral, it smells amazing. I ended up buying boundless though, I'd love to hear your review on that, amazing fragrance, and perfect for autumn!
It's a beautiful crisp airy ozonic bright woody white floral with great performance. If sprayed on clothes it's beast mode. This exceptional combo of features makes it a wonderful all year rounder. It's also a massive compliment getter. I've been wearing it on different occasions in different places and I got compliments from people every single time. This never happened with my other perfumes.
i love amouage but reflection is not it for me. it has that sweetness mixed with mint and some type of corn/tortila note i get and i hate that combination.

Always thought I wasn't a big fan of floral scents. "Reflection" taught me otherwise. When those floral notes start to open up, well that is just a moment of sheer beauty!
I was really interested in getting this fragrance, but it was just pricey enough that I didn't want to blind buy it. Where I live there is really nowhere I can go to try it out and I am leary of getting samples because you never know how the sprayers are on them and if they are crap then I feel like you don't get the real experience you would get off an actual bottle... so I was just kinda sitting on my hands about it. But having seen your review I think I'm actually going to pick this one up. I really respect your opinion and taste when it comes to fragrances so if it gets a perfect 10 off of you that's good enough for me. I bought toy boy cuz of the review you gave it and gotta say you didn't let me down I really enjoy it.

So glad to hear someone I respect loving my all time favorite scent almost as much as me! IMHO Amouage has some of the best fragrances on the market for a niche house. While Reflection Man is head and shoulders the best to me, I also really love Jubilation 25. Due to its high price I sadly can't afford to buy many of them, which is sad because I wish they would sell sample kits that didn't cost you about $100. Anyhow thank you very much sir and keep up the amazing job. Also can I say you might have one of the most pleasant voices on the internet. Hearing you talk just puts me in a better mood.

it really is..I love sporty ,manly leaning scents but i cant get over this one..i cant..its out of this world. so sophisticated..I wear it in spring sumer fall winter..it lasts 4-6 hrs...for me the best or most wearable from house of Amouage..I cant get over it..I paid $ 420 in Neimans Marcus..sheeesh..Hall of Fame indeed
I just received my 5mL testers of Reflections Man and Jubilation XXV. Sprayed on each arm…. Have spent the better part of the day trying to wrap my head around this house. I also put a bit of Interlude Black Iris on the back of my hand. Nothing is jumping out at me like my Tom Ford fragrances and claiming my heart.
Amouage has a terrific Discovery kit of samples. It is a bit more expensive than when I first got it a few years ago though (but then again what isn’t?) Reflection Man is easy to like, clean, a little soapy, and to me smells like JPG Le Male with an extra herbal component. I love Le Male :) Amouage is a great house and Bracken Man is by far my favorite! I also use Epic Man.
The opening of this is beautiful with a tea-like almost green bubblegum vibe. Not sure what's going on with the base they are using for this. As it sits I start taking points off. By drydown it isn't welcome anymore. My sample will be enough.

I remember watching that review with you and Chris, and you said this fragrance smells like money. I knew I had to get it then. Putting fragrance on paper never made sense to me because people don't wear paper. Always put fragrance on skin and clothes.
You really should try Boundless aswell if you got it in the sample box. Newer release from the house, imo also more mass appealing and "easier", but more dark than Reflection Man. Not the greatest sillage perhaps, but the scent is great! Aaron, thank you for your great review, as always! 🙏
I keep trying this fragrance and initially had such problems with the peppery opening that I couldn’t really appreciate it. For me it does dry down quite well but ON ME it’s just an ok scent. To hear so many people praise this makes me so disappointed that I don’t get the same experience that a lot of other people do. As Aaron says you’ll either like it or not…I’ll keep trying my sample
Reflection man smells so bad man. Foot powder, baby powder, bathroom cinnamon air freshener, sunday church old ladies. Definitely not a safe blind buy.
I really appreciate you going back and having another look at this, I love it, but also I didn’t fall in love at first sniff. Absolutely we do evolve and nothing is sent in stone certainly when I smell things, my opinion can change dramatically upon 2nd sniff or passage of time. Love your reviews... For whatever reason... I'm not a big fan of reflection and I love the house... very high quality... I may have to revisit this as my tastes have changed a lot from 3 years ago so maybe I wont pick up the florals like I did back then as much. I got super clean/white florally type when I tested it.

When i first was introduced to this i thought it was very nice. Only got that response because I'd moments before tried the Reflections 45 for man extrait edp. Which absolutely blew my mind. The reflection man after that smelled diluted by comparison but very nice. The 45 i do not possess the appropriate levels of superlatives in my vocabulary to do it justice. Apart from the fact i kept smelling myself for rest if the day from first spray.
Definitely one of the best fragrances out there! Even though it’s expensive it’s worth every penny! I will always have a bottle of it in my collection.
Great. In this fragrance the most important notes are rosemary and synthetic aromas to make it fresher and more airy, jasmine very important, and very very important the bitter orange materials, from green bitter petitgrain to floreal bitter neroli, that with high cashmeran dose, powdery musks, orris root, contrasted by drywoods, create a magnificent unique blend. Clearly Reflection can't be Reflection without that powdery white floral elements to give the entire body of fragrance.

It's such a soft clean fragrance but to be frank wearing this doesn't really make me feel the sort of "'manly man". The smell itself is addicting but not in the slightest macho. Night and day from something like per say amouage epic man

Wow! The first time I've seen you give a 10 rating. Never smelled Reflection Man or anything else from Amouage. I've always dismissed Reflection Man because it's compared to The Original Le Male by JPG. I wasn't impressed by that, but now I'll try to get my nose on this one since you gave it a 10. One of the greatest fragrances ever released. Truly love Amouage, such high quality scents
Just sprayed this on to remind me how good it is, have a sample of the extrait version but prefer the original.
They are quite weather dependent. The original works best in the day but the extrait is incredible at night in dry weather. Such an excellent perfume.
One of my all time faves. A true classic.
The longevity needs to be addressed.

Also ATH said everything perfectly and better than how I would describe it. It’s just so versatile and easy yet unique enough to be a signature scent

Just opened up so.r Dior Homme parfum. After smelling your work it might be right up your alley or atleast worth a review. The drydown is nutzo in my humble unlearned opinion.

Wow! The first time I've seen you give a 10 rating. Never smelled Reflection Man or anything else from Amouage. I've always dismissed Reflection Man because it's compared to The Original Le Male by JPG. I wasn't impressed by that, but now I'll try to get my nose on this one since you gave it a 10. That says a lot to me. Thanks for sharing your honest opinion as always.
