Erica, I have such a great experience with these blocks and have learned so much. You definitely are one of the best? My blocks are getting better every time with your tips and techniques. I thought the clapper was a joke, especially the name, but after watching you use it so much. Had to give it a try and it works just as you say. It presses the seams so much better. Thank you so much for you helping us get better.
Also I have made 5 bags (all from scrap material) from your videos. All very nice. My grandsons needed a library bag to hold their books and library cards. They came out adorable. I made to 2 zipper bag for my daughter who backs every weekend to go camping. She looks it. I'm doing a thumbs up as much as possible. Keep the videos coming. Thank you.

I love this block. You made it so easy. It looks much harder than it is. I actually just finished a quilt with 24 churn dash blocks. I’ll post a photo on instagram. I’m relatively new to quilting and am often intimidated by patters but you made it fun. 😊

This is fun. I'm following along and have completed the first 2 month's blocks using scrap material from my stash only. I wish I could attach a picture of both, they are not perfect, but I like them.
I'm sure they look great! And don't sweat the small stuff, you won't even notice once you get the whole quilt top together :) My motto: finished is better than perfect!

When making half square triangles this way aren’t the outside edges of block on the bias. I love your videos

Once a month is perfect! There are other sew alongs that are more frequent I can also do. It is nice to have a slower paced one.
Good pressing info to nest the seams. Nice color choices.
I cut a 2x4 board to use for great clappers and wanted to share that 😊in case someone else is on a tight budget, too 💕
