- I did 5 acts of kindness every day for 10 days!!! (And to be honest.. most days I did much more than 5, so this project should be called 100 acts of kindness!)
I baked cookies for my neighbors, left lovely letters for strangers, handed out flowers on a Monday afternoon, and greeted everyone who's eye I caught! Come on this lovely 10 day journey with, and see for yourself how much a simple act of kindness can do!

@@Liv-tq9vc I agree, on the 18th of September, I will be buying 150 burgers for homeless people. Along with 250 sandwiches pre-made and wrapped in tinfoil, with around 100 bottles of water unfortunately tap water. But at the end of the day water is better than no water, It's nothing much but at least 400 people will have something to eat that hasn't come out of the bottom of a bin. All though I would not be able to rassion the water out fairly, I will be paying much attention to They're lips and dry voice to indicate they seem to be thirsty. As I said it's nothing much but it could make someone's day.

I love that you're so excited about greeting strangers. In my small town it's so common and I'm so used to it, that people in bigger cities stare at me as if I'm crazy when I greet them XD Also loved all your ideas and since I work in foster care I will ask the kids if they wanna do something like that ;)

Way to go, Gabija! This brings back memories. There used some kind of trendy act of kindness where I live, which consisted of leaving a good book in any public space for other people to find it, read it, and share it again by leaving it somewhere. Sadly, people don't do it anymore. The kind of gesture I personally do is helping blind people struggling to find the way within the hazy, long corridors in the subway - especially since people tend to deliberately ignore them.
You are truly amazing, if only there was more ppl in the world like you. I hope you're safe and well.

awww i’m 16 and u honestly motivated me even more and actually push myself to do something kind. the reason i never did is because i was scared of other people judging me. i know it’s stupid but i can’t help it. I remember being on the subway 2 years ago & crying because i had such a low day, and there was a family on the train with me, and as they were leaving, this man (the dad, perhaps in his 40s) looked me in the eye, smiled, and said ‘it’s going to be okay.’ I still think about it to this day - those few kind words from a stranger made me feel so much better...❤️

Hi Gabija, I'd like to share this story with you. While sitting at a table in my favorite restaurant/bar a few years ago, I noticed an elderly person who had obviously been badly injured in a serious accident. In addition to being injured, the fact she was on her own in a busy restaurant filled with groups of happy people was striking. I felt the urge to do something and express my solidarity with her. The waitress declined my initial offer to pay for anything and suggested to buy that person a gift. She filled me in on the poor woman's car accident. It was tough! She made suggestions on what kinds of gifts the lonesome woman would like. I followed her advice and did it, and the accompanying message was "To express solidarity with someone going through tough times." The waitress delivered the gift and message, and she later said the lady appreciated it. The waitress also added she wanted to thank me in person. I wished to remain low-key and anonymous, so I declined. I also must confess, badly injured elders are a terrible thing to witness in person. I ran into that woman again by chance but didn't tell her I was the one behind the mystery gift.
