I hope Angel finds peace in heaven ❤️ For those who didn't know, this song was about a girl called angel and she was in a rehab shelter the word "snowflake" actually means cocaine and "burnt lungs" means she had been smoking, while angel was at the shelter she always broke the rules and the people running the shelter said if she behaves herself she could make her own rules, but the lyrics "it's too cold outside" means dangerous, and "sells love to another man" means she had been sold to s*x when Ed Sheeran went to the shelter the first thing he saw on the walls were "Angels rule" he wrote this song on the way back from the shelter, one year later Angel died and he wrote another song dedicated to her that's why he says "angels will die" so this song has a bigger meaning than some people let on ❤️
I've seen the quote "It's too cold outside, for angels to fly" before on Pinterest, but I never knew from what song. Thanks for making this amazing song. ^ - ^
Ik this is four years old but heres a lil tidbit. If you search "lyrics "insert lyrics here" " it often comes up with the song your looking for. I use this all the time to find songs I have stuck in my head. Hope this helps. 😅

Lyrics (all together): The A Team White lips, pale face Breathing in snowflakes Burnt lungs, sour taste Light's gone, day's end Struggling to pay rent Long nights, strange men And they say She's in the Class A Team Stuck in her daydream Been this way since eighteen But lately her face seems Slowly sinking, wasting Crumbling like pastries And they scream The worst things in life come free to us 'Cause she's just under the upper-hand And go mad for a couple grams And she don't wanna go outside tonight And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland Or sells love to another man It's too cold outside For angels to fly For angels to fly Ripped gloves, raincoat Tried to swim and stay afloat Dry house, wet clothes Loose change, bank notes Weary-eyed and dry throat Call girl, no phone And they say She's in the Class A Team Stuck in her daydream Been this way since eighteen But lately her face seems Slowly sinking, wasting Crumbling like pastries And they scream The worst things in life come free to us 'Cause she's just under the upper-hand And go mad for a couple grams And she don't wanna go outside tonight And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland Or sells love to another man It's too cold outside For angels to fly Angels to fly An angel will die Covered in white, closed eye And hoping for a better life And this time, we'll fade out tonight Straight down the line Straight down the line And they say She's in the Class A Team She's stuck in her daydream Been this way since eighteen But lately her face seems Slowly sinking, wasting Crumbling like pastries They scream The worst things in life come free to us 'Cause we're all under the upper-hand And go mad for a couple grams And we don't wanna go outside tonight And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland And sells love to another man It's too cold outside For angels to fly For angels to fly To fly, yeah For angels to die
'Stuck in her daydream', heart goes out to anyone struggling with an addiction or who knows someone with an addiction. Addiction is a terrible disease and people who have got an addiction should stay strong and eventually get through it ❤❤😔 xxxx
Once saw a video where someone got a group of friends just to tie another friend up and force him to watch them pour out all his illegal drugs into his own yard. It was cocaine according to the people in the video. They did that and watched their friend get mad while in the chair unable to stop them. They got him help after that but the reason they tied him down to a chair was to have him unable to stop them from dumping it into the yard. I don't remember what the video was called but I do remember that this happened in the video. I don't know why they dumped it all in the guys yard but they did. I was thinking they were trying to dispose of it. Everyone had masks and stuff made for sanding and stuff on to try and not get it in their system. The friend who was tied up wasn't wearing any of it. He was forced to watch them do this. They even asked him to at least try to quit and they ended up helping him.
This song is sad and its meaning is so upsetting knowing what drugs do is just so upsetting and also people push themselves upon them .....But once started you won't stop which is even worse....The worse things in life do come free correct ed
At first I thought this wasn’t worth my time, but as time passed I listened to it again and realized, Ruby-Chan’s nightcores are worth more than my lifetime, (other nightcores too)
When I was a kid I thought this song was about a boy and a girl in a mental institute who became friends but now the girls getting worse and not responding any more. Now I know it's about drugs and prostitution and realise what a messed up kid I was. What 8 year old thinks this?
....Thank you I...One day you will see an anime book on a shelf...it will be by me...Cloudy Tora. It will based off this comment I swear. I was just reading through comments and inspiration flared through me..thank you.
I used to think it was talking about a story about a girl who was really smart like Straight A student but then I heard the line “been this was since eighteen” but I always thought ‘huh, is she in college then? She must be super smart’
Actually Batman-Crossdress, she could be referring to the sad atmosphere of the song. She could have a loved one going through the same problem, or she herself is struggling under expectations and looking for a relief (not necessarily of the chemical kind).
I think some of them were people who found this song seriously relatable and didnt like the song because they knew what they had became and this song reminded them of who they are
People build upon the meaning and give it their own, therefore making it relatable. People feel sad, feel the sad aura this song gives off, and connect it with themselves, because deep down inside, the song is a part of them now. You know?
I'm going back to a lot of nightcore that got me through a lot of bad times It doesn't magically go away, but I can laugh freely and dance and live. And even though it still hurts Its worth it to me
This is unreal how relatable this song is to me easily one of my favourites from you just gonna listen to this for the next couple hours, thx for making all these amazing nightcores:)
‘White lips, pale face’ (due to the temperature outside) ‘Breathing in the snowflakes’ (snorting coke) ‘Burnt lungs’ (due to smoking and coke) ‘Sour taste’ (a side affect of coke) ‘Struggling to pay rent’ (finding it hard to pay for her home) ‘Long nights, strange men’ (she spends long nights with men having sex for money) ‘Class A team’ (coke is a class A drug) ‘Slowing sinking, wasting’ (due to alcohol) ‘Crumbling like pasties’ (rocks of coke) ‘Go mad for a couple grams’ (goes mad for more drugs) ‘In a pipe she flys to the mother land’ (smoking weed though a pipe) ‘Sells love to another man’ (prostitution) ‘Wet clothes’ (because of the rain) ‘Loose change, bank money’ (begging for money on the streets) ‘Dry throat’ (because of drugs) ‘Call girl, no phone’ (she can afford a phone) ‘We’ll fade out tonight’ (lose consciousness due to drugs and alcohol) ‘For angels to die’ (the girl who Ed wrote the song about passed away) RIP 😪💔
It's because it sounds like a person who is concerned about a loved one (which it is), but they didn't fully understand the collective meaning behind the words or only were able to make out a small part of them, like "It's too cold outside, for angels to fly", so they thought the concerned person was referring to the loved one being an "angel", as in a pure and lovely. Therefore, through those lyrics, the song could be interpreted as a person trying to protect his/her loved one.
I mean I think the caring for the person aspect like Queen Luna said, but like I find it hard to picture the caring aspect I am mostly thinking about the sad situation told in the story, and not the point of view of the person singing this.
Last night I felt rlly down and then during some time into the night, I listened to this and I gradually from there felt better. Ig it was the soft voice which matches the music
I gotta admit, you keep surprising me with your works. They keep getting better and better. Keep up the amazing work, I've been listening to you for a while, and your definitely one of my favorite Nightcore cover uploaders/artists. So, keep it up, please!

Lyrics (all together): The A Team
White lips, pale face
Breathing in snowflakes
Burnt lungs, sour taste
Light's gone, day's end
Struggling to pay rent
Long nights, strange men
And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since eighteen
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries
And they scream
The worst things in life come free to us
'Cause she's just under the upper-hand
And go mad for a couple grams
And she don't wanna go outside tonight
And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland
Or sells love to another man
It's too cold outside
For angels to fly
For angels to fly
Ripped gloves, raincoat
Tried to swim and stay afloat
Dry house, wet clothes
Loose change, bank notes
Weary-eyed and dry throat
Call girl, no phone
And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since eighteen
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries
And they scream
The worst things in life come free to us
'Cause she's just under the upper-hand
And go mad for a couple grams
And she don't wanna go outside tonight
And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland
Or sells love to another man
It's too cold outside
For angels to fly
Angels to fly
An angel will die
Covered in white, closed eye
And hoping for a better life
And this time, we'll fade out tonight
Straight down the line
Straight down the line
And they say
She's in the Class A Team
She's stuck in her daydream
Been this way since eighteen
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries
They scream
The worst things in life come free to us
'Cause we're all under the upper-hand
And go mad for a couple grams
And we don't wanna go outside tonight
And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland
And sells love to another man
It's too cold outside
For angels to fly
For angels to fly
To fly, yeah
For angels to die

After hearing this song for god know how much, I still don't understand who people interpret this as friend song??
ikr(on moms account, don't ask why).
