That looks like a lot of fun!!!
Hey Pavs
:D
Buy one
What up paved
Sorry it autocorrected
Such a simple idea, but 4 thousand dollars? Most kids don't have that in their budget, nor their parents.
I know right 4 thousand dollars I will just get kudos to grab them for me
+QsLz Titan45 my dog not my kudos
+Luke Natale Well if your dad is Donald Trump, then it's cheap.
Alan Atkinsmith ha ha ha ha ha ha
I had to make the joke
Tf! The back looks like a McDonald's play ground
TheMajorLeagueSnipers that was the greatest comment here
only you little kid would know
When they come back to reality and charge a normal price, please update us. Even for your "hockey program or rink" $4k is a big investment is something that really only one person could use at a time and only serves such a specific purpose. Really cool...just very limited.
Man I don't want to hate, but this thing needs to be 1 grand at the most. They would make so much more money if they priced it better. More facilities would buy 'em, then more hockey players/parents would be exposed to it, and they could actually buy one for the home.
If it was 500 and under that would be in my house
hockeysnipes 13
I'd give 'em a call. I doubt they'd go _under_ 500, but they must realize that while this may be worth well over $3500 to a training facility, it isn't worth that much to the average player. When I get my house, I'm gonna see if I can't grab one for 500-1000 big ones.
Oh my bad howtohockey that was spellcheck
I became totally addicted watching u shoot the puck and it come right back over and over
brick wall, chalk and tennis ball cost um 2 bucks.
have you ever been hit with one of the pucks shooting out? im sure its not a problem but what if you wind up a big PK subban style slapshot and let it rip, would it hit you and hurt your leg or something???
*puck
Spineshot25 LOL I'd do it just to be an ass...to myself. Oops.
tgoace Yeah, until you kill somebody, JK
It'd be me.
+ThunderSports You could just move back a little further...problem solved.
I made one out of plywood and some metal poles
About 100 bucks AUD
Nice!
McNugget Butts that is what i was thinking, when he said $4000 I just said "wtf... I could make that for about $100
Instructions?
gavin bathagte
Make a net
The put the holes in the plywood where the corners are
Then connect those holes with really big pvc pipe
It's crazy how the puck almost goes right to your stick. I'm pretty impressed!!
just regular molded plastic. takes max 50$ to produce
If you can get this made for $50 let's go into business together and sell them fro $1000 each, that's $950 profit! I'm assuming due to the price they actually cost much more than that, and the initial set up cost must have been very high. So the price covers material and the money invested to get the product to market
Have to also remember that ideas have value as well. It is a simple concept but apparently no one else had developed it before which is why they deserve to get so much money for it.
Sean Carter At the sales volumes we are talking here, not a chance. The moulds needed are going to cost you at least $75-100k. That's an outlay before you even produce your first unit.
I'm a process technician for a molding company. way more than 50 dollars to produce. and that mold would be closer to 200000
Sick net but I don't think I'd pay 4 grand for it
Thinking the same. Could probably build it for much, much less.
id say atleast 450$
How the flying fuck is that net worth 4000$.
Aleksander Ziegler Søiland probably canadian money, but still, too much money
Aleksander Ziegler Søiland how the flying puck*
Jovan Macias haha 😂
Will Bmx . Hockey yes😂👌👍👍
I wouldn't even take it for free, let alone 4k. if u miss the target, u will chase the puck. and on 65% of the shots that went in, it ended up going by him and he'd have to chase them across the rink. i would say 10-12% of the shots are going to come right back to his stick. Most of the time he's trying to stop the puck from going by him. If you buy this, you'll still end up chasing the puck. TOTAL SCAM!
This should cost 500 not 4000
+Phoenix Mayfall Then make a homemade one :P
+Torragg I'll make one out of cardboard.
Orange Kid Since i'm the one currently hear ill expend my time in making it easier for other to express their feelings too. We all don't care.
Torragg Dammit!
You're paying for the durability, as stated in the video, which is where the cost comes from.
how to u get the pucks that get stuck out
like this is so simple I'm surprised no one thought of it before. its such a great idea! nice review too
My local hockey club has 4 of these and when we don't have our backup goalie and we play 3-3 in the zone it's really helpful and fun and it has lasted so far this season with I'm sure over 100k shots on it
this is a sick vid and btw can you reccomend a street hockey stick that looks and preforms like a ice one thanks.
What happens when the puck gets stuck in the tubes...
Hey great video! I am building a shooting area outside and wanted to get that cage netting you have around the goal, could you tell me where you got that?
What is the surround you use in front of/over the net? I suspect it is a baseball surround. What is the brand and is it fold-able?
Looks really fun but how would you get your pucks back if it didn't go all the way through
What do you use for the floor to make the picks slide. Synthetic ice ??
Awesome vid can you make a bid of the the mini rink
That so cool won't get it myself but looks fun!!
You could probably just make one of these for a fraction of that price by just using ten inch diameter PVC pipe and use then use PVC elbows to make it a loop or heat them up and bend it. Then so for the front just use a sturdy peice of ply wood with big holes cut in the or something
and then it breaks in six months and you have to make another one. this thing is built to last for years. i tried it at a local rink and honestly, the thing is a tank.
Ya but I would rather buy one for $50 every 6 months than that extreme price. Also PVC I a surprisingly strong plastic
**is
Cheep skate
No making things is also way more fun
Where did you get the cage/net? That's what I need because, well... I miss the goal a lot.
My club team has 2 of them at our training facility and it really does make you a better shooter by giving you the targets and firing them back
4000 that's an outrage!!
+Adam Shtern It's about the cost of ten sticks and you won't break it the first game you use it. If your parents can afford team fees that are more than this costs, maybe Santa will be good to you.
+deck monkey are you serious? Do you understand how much 4000 dollars actually is? That's a ridiculous price for a net and some plastic tubes
Eliot Mason a Bauer adv
Can you do a vid where you test out a bunch of different curves and see what is the best
so I live in alabama. not many people like hockey so we have 1 rink but it's great and has great leagues. it got destroyed by a tornado today.
I am really sorry about that. 😧😥😢
Jonathan Allen yep, that’s the South.
What if the puck stops in the back? How do you get it out? Am I the only one wondering that?
when the puck gets stuck inside you just keep shooting. Your other shots will eventually knock the other puck out. You can also reach your stick in and get most of the pucks if they aren't right at the back
How To Hockey But what if I get a second puck stuck in there trying to get the first puck out? Before you know it you have like 30 pucks lodged back there.
Meat Dragon Not gonna happen..
Meat Dragon Looks like you can reach in there.
you can probaly stick something in there to get it
What do you do if a puck gets stuck in there? And also, what makes you think it’d be a good idea to make a device that shoots hard rubber pucks back at you? If you shoot a puck at around 70 mph, you can get a puck flying back at you at around give or take 60-65 mph
Just a question What if when it comes back it hits you
That's so sweat what web site can you get the net on
this is heaven man.. holy, what a neat tool.
What stick do you use when you play?
How do you get the pucks that get stuck
- man, one year and still no response
I'm wondering how u get the puck out if u don't shoot it hard and it gets stuck in the back
it such an awesome product! would have been playing with this all day if i had it when I was a kid
but why does it cost 4k dollars
pigs canfly ouch seriously why are hockey products so insanely expensive
Timothy Quinn I agree one of those stickhandling obstacles are like 150
wow this is probably the coolest net ive ever seen!
What do you use for the floor that is similar to ice?
Its synthetic ice that you can skate on
Hey Jeremy ;) I've got a request.Could you please tell me a name of your hockey stick?Thank you
Alex Latecký it’s the colt 1 or 2 bc you asked 4 years ago now there is a colt 3
Love your sweatshirt. Will you be selling those?
Looks awesome! How does this video have any thumbs downs? Great vid, man.
Just use some plywood cut out slots for the targets and bend some plywood around from target to target and your good
every rink in canada needs one of these
If the puck gets stuck in the back can you get it out?
Is that in ur homemade rink in the garage
I saw this on your instagram, i wish i had one. Also good review
What material is your garage floor made out of?
Kyle W Synthetic ice = plastic
I saw it on Instagram from you. Looks pretty cool
4:04 is so satisfying
That looks so cool
Love this review
What does the super shooter 1look like
Nice idea!
WERE DID YOU GET THAT HOCKEY NET CUS IM ONLY 7 I LOVE HOCKEY AND I THINK I WILL LOVE THAT TO
u need some coin buddy
+Melissa Spring you're 7 and your on youtube where are your parents
+Luke Natale Melissa Spring is the parent and is aware of his actions online
+Melissa Spring lmao get your kid in check
Makes you wonder why it hasn't been done before. A great product, however, I do agree with some of the other comments about the price. I think a plastics fabrication company could make a similar product (for those of us with a not so great wrist shot) almost as durable for considerably less.
Where can you buy this thing.
I think -1000$ is the right price for that!
it would be awesome if you shoot it in one said there comes a treat from the other side :)
Lmao 😂
I gotta say, as cool as this thing is and as much as I enjoyed watching you review it, I still can't get over your northern accent. I love the way you pronounce your vowels, it's so endearing.
Very cool. A cheaper consumer version that attaches to an existing net could sell like hotcakes.
I was thinking of going to gather up a bunch of old dead clothes driers and market them as, "Sid The Kid Shooting Target." Cost to produce: zero. He he he.
i would rather save $3995 and get a cardboard cut out and then go behind the net than having something that'll give you the puck back without have to walk a couple of steps.
My thought's exactly.
Wow at 3:59 it looked like the puck disappeared
What if the puck gets stuck in the back middle of the tubes??
Looks awesome but dangerous at that same time haha!
What do you do If the puck gets stuck in the middle
Matt Dormer shoot another puck or try to reach in or something, it's not actually a huge issue
I'm really talented at hockey because I've played roller hockey and I want to play ice hockey but my parents cant afford it. What do i do?
Roller until you start making your own money (which is the route I went).
Make your own with a plywood front and run large pvc pipe around the back
I have shot on these kinds of nets before they are sick
What happens when you get a pick or two stuck in the tube
That's sick
this thing is sick
I can seriously see these things being extremely popular at stick and puck sessions
Looks cool. Too bad it's soo expensive, but it makes sense.
now heres the question. How do you get the pucks out if its stuck
I just don't like how much it cost
I requested this to my association idk if they will get one
I play on two ice travel teams a year for about $3,700 this is 4 grand. Looks sick though. I wish I would've thought of this!
What if the puck gets stuck inside the pipes?
That voice crack at 4:04 tho
The only problems w/ it is FOUR GRAND and how the hell r u suppose to get it out of the back if it gets stuck.... other then that.... it's pretty cool
Thx
I need this...
Buy a piece of plywood and cut out the 6 spots. Lol. Won’t return the puck but great for shot positioning.
In a whole, this net looks awesome!
Amazing
Nice garage
What if you don’t have enough power for the puck to come out
This goal lives up to it's name.
It's a cool idea, but the price point is so high. My local rink just replaced all the nets and they are super tight. Pucks bounce right back out....
sick product
That s AWESOME
WHAT is The super shooter 1?
You could make this, buy a new pair of skates,, New stick, a couple jerseys, new gloves, get a nice trim for your lettuce, and take a couple groupies out all the while still having cash left over at that price
has anyone tried shooting at a small trampoline tipped up on its side? the puck would fly more erratically but they would come back probably
+Erik Matheson yeah lol
You cane make one out of a broken net and some old gutters
would be fun to have one of these to practice, but come on...almost 4k?!! they must be using space-grade material on it :D
like mentioned numerous times below, you can DIY this for much less. Maybe when the company will have bad sales they`ll realize and lower the price.
Nevertheless great video, keep `em coming :)
Why tf is it so expensive? You know it only took them like $100 to make... Like wtf... they makin like a $3900 profit
