Goat kids think everything is a mountain to climb!

- Goats never seem to have a grumpy day and they make everything in their environment into a toy! Today was another cloudy, rainy day, and the goats made the most of it during playtime. They assumed the chairs were theirs to hop on, and had a lot of fun!
Yesterday we picked up two new goat kids! They are mini nubian’s. I let them out to play with the rest of the kids today, and was so happy that even though they spent most of the time by my side, (or on my lap) making their little mini Nubian, humming noise, they did get out and about and run with the other kids now and then. They are the snuggliest Goats and I know they’re going to fit in great. Their names are periwinkle and jellybean. I wonder if you can find them in this video!

I love when the Kiddies become aware of the camera! They’re curious but then there are other hay bales & chairs to jump on & bounce off of & cousins to play with so off they go. Thanks for sharing their lives with us! ❤🥰

Baby goats make everything seem better...watching them play is the best kind of happy. Some of their moves are really acrobatic! 😄🥰 Love the names for the new babies...Jellybean and Periwinkle, but I couldn't spot them.

I love everything about goats...the way they play, the way they talk, the way they walk, the way they love to eat weeds, the way they clear your land of poison ivy, their curiosity, their gentleness...I mean seriously if you have never lived with goats you might not understand but they are wonderful companions and sweet as can be. Yup .I love goats❤❤❤❤

They were having a grand time!! So much fun to watch them. I'm amazed that they can jump on to the metal chairs without slipping. I think I spotted "Periwinkle and Jellybean." One mostly black and the other white with blacks spots? They seemed to stay together a lot and look like Nubian's. (to the best of my limited goat knowledge! ha ha!!) Thank you for sharing. ❤

I see that Maine has been spared from all the smoke from the Canadian Fires. The rain should clean the air of smoke as well.

At least it's raining there...we haven't had rain in SW Lower Michigan for going on three weeks! Keeps the fleas, mosquitoes and flies down though. Always a silver lining ❤

I grew up on a farm. For a while we had a goat who like to climb up and stand on top of the cab of the pickup truck. Wish I had a photo of it.

Hope you and they are not overcome with horrible wildfire smoke. Here in NJ and neighboring states it's like pea soup in the air and extremely dangerous for anyone and animals outside. But all looks well in your piece of Heaven.
I hope it clears up for you soon! The photos I saw of NYC were quite sobering. Luckily, here in Western PA it hasn't gotten too bad.
