Great video! All the information you shared was interesting. I liked the history of the resort. Yes, I have done a time share and I regretfully purchased in 2018. I was a newly divorced mother of 2, making $10,000 a year and have no idea how I even was qualified for the presentation. They switched off salesman for 6 HOURS, guilted me with "your children deserve better", "they should not have to share one bed with you when vacationing", "they look up to you to provide for them". I struggled for years to make the payments only to have points "change" because I did not pay to "upgrade" and now can not stay at most of the resorts (also, because most resorts are always not available for booking). I am pretty much limited to Orlando, FL, Las Vegas NV or Carlsbad, CA (sometimes Myrtle Beach, SC). I am still struggling to make the rising property taxes and HOA fees. WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE - I ALLOWED THEM TO BULLY ME!!!
@@thetravelingfoodies Well - I have points expiring in December (or I can pay $219 to roll over to next year) & was looking to see where I have enough points to stay and a few Las Vegas rooms would work. So, I went on TH-cam to watch reviews of the places. . . and click on your very good review.

I'm doing the same in May. I actually got 4 nights for the same price. It will be my first time in Vegas, so I can't wait ! Thanks for showing what to expect from the presentation.
We are doing a 2 bedroom suite for 4 nights,. We paid 349 99 plus tax. We're checking in on a Saturday so it is a premium. Never been to this place. , really excited for some pool time!

@The Traveling Foodies yep. Haha, they called my wife out of the blue. She has hilton Rewards, i think we did the 3 nights. It was around 550 or so. It's our son's 21st birthday. Should be fun!
Just purchased the three night for 299 for Alora. Haven’t booked what time to go yet. Never been to Vegas before. We don’t travel enough to make sense for a timeshare but will do the two hour presentation. Did they provide transportation to the other hotel where the presentation was at?
i also agreed to one of these timeshare meeting deals for 50000 points. I'll be at the other building to the north though early next year cause it's closer to the event I'll be at but the Elara looks much nicer from all the videos I've seen.

$140,000? I just bought an every-other-year timeshare at Elara yesterday, resale for $2,350. What they offered you was 3X more points and every year, but it probably isn't worth any more than $14,000. The Las Vegas properties hold some value because of the low maintenance fees.
Cool. We really liked the Elara we would stay there again. If you’re interested in selling some points sometimes we’d be interested in buying. With this timeshare experience We learned that timeshare properties are the only way to book in VEGAS. Thinking about booking another tour JUST to get that low rate.

there is (free?) parking in the adjacent Miracle Mile parking garage but it's a public parking garage, narrow drive lanes, and narrow spaces. We parked there one night and worried about our oversized vehicle all night, so for peace of mind we brought it to the valet parking where it had lots of room around it. Although it was an added expense, it was worth it to not worry about door dings or someone tampering with it.
We were guests at the Elara for a big family gathering. Home cooked meals around the table with friends and family, enjoying an amazing view, lounging on that large comfy couch all made great memories for us! Beautiful hotel, super clean and gleaming, we felt secure there, had fun.
