Tip #8 Nos Management : This is, by many, an overlooked topic. Focus on the best thing Nos can do for you in the game, getting you to top speed (normally capped at a consistent 232mph). I see a lot of players over utilizing their nos to fix their errors and/or purging it at a straight when you are already going at Top speed (this will only gain you 1-3mph for about 1-3 seconds) which isn't effective at all. Step #1 Analyze your track, run it without using Nos and focus on getting those smooth turns Step #2 Run the track with nos but no refills, figure out where exactly where is it critical for you to use those 1 - 5 bottles to take you quicker to top speed (and cruise in it). Step #3 Now with your main Nos game plan set, "fill in the gaps" with the extra Nos refills. Once you've done this correctly, you should IMMEDIATELY have improved your time by at least 2 seconds (dependent on how off was your Nos usage beforehand). With this gameplan in hand, it should net you a faster, more consistent run (even when racing in multiplayer).
This is something overlooked but have good throttle control when gripping a turn. Some "S" curves have the possibility of using full grip but sometimes require a certain amount of throttle to avoid understeer. Great vid for the newcomers 👍
This is a book but bare with me lol Also using manual and shifting up during take-offs with rwd cars (or any turn you don't need to accel more in but you want less wheel spin)! ;) I know this vid isn't drag race focused but as a Forza drag veteran I figured i'd share a drag racing tip too. So we know some cars launch faster when starting in 2nd or 3rd from a dead stop, but now try shifting down after the initial launch (usually from 3rd), then back up. For example most muscle cars I start in 3rd gear for the best take-off with zero spin, but down shift at 20 or 30mph to get that acceleration going the way it should be! I test launches going through speed traps that usually have a line on the road to stop at accurately or something. That way you can tell if that less wheel spin is helping or hurting your 0 - 60. Some cars are weird and need light wheel spin for a faster launch too. Also, don't judge your car's performance with different aspiration types just by looking at stats once you got all the main parts you're sure you want. Some builds may show a slightly slower 0 - 60 picking different turbos, but in the live tuning will show a faster 1/4 mile time. Don't be afraid to use differen't gearboxes either! Since we can't tune gears, you can always pick a gearbox with longer or shorter 1st gears. These tips can help you get the most out of NOS right away.
definitivly try and practice manual, its faster bcs of several reasons 1: you can shift at the start to 3rd gear to accelerate faster and reduce wheelspin on any car (for some cars you need to shift just twice so your rpms wont drop low) 2: you can engine brake with downshifting to approach hard corners easier 3: use lowest tier brakes for every car (some cars dont have sport brakes mainly supercars and hypercars have only elite/elite+ brakes 4: use all the tips in triggers video :)
@@QuigzDrifts brake snaping is a thing that Goliath uses on some very sharp corners if you tap the brake the car will kick out the rear end more so you can make it trough the corner

This helped a lot I’ve been playing for a while now but could never get good times on sonic now that I watched you video I went from 2:52.13 to 2:42.26 in my first race
Tip: (not everyone has to do this) but when launching, you know the AI with the purple mustang, try to get some distance on him early, like a good 3 second distance. This is because, in my experience that AI tends to block off parts of the road 9 times out of 10.
One of my tips is engine swaping a car if you can't upgrade the engine as max you want , the only problem is that the sound of the car and the rpm max limit going to change alot depending on the engine , and if you don't want to pay for the engine swapping you go to "inventory" section and select a engine u have . I hope this long Tip was helpful :)
Nice tip video!😎🍿 My tip for newer drivers would be noss management. 1. Dont use all your noss refills in the first 25% of a race, you wont have much for the end.
FYI Trigger, it's nitrous, not NOS/nos/nawsz . N.O.S. is an initialism for a company named Nitrous Oxide Systems, that Toretto and the rest of the crew turned into an acronym by reading the initialism in the Fast and Furious, as well as the subsequent movies. Maybe you won't care, but as detailed as you are with everything else in your videos, I thought you might want to know. I'm not trying to be an elitist, but rather an informist. Thanks for the great video.
I tried the rsr on sonic run and i did 2:39 that'q actually my record, thanks for all the tips you gave, a years ago a was a 2:48 with the rsr, 2:55 with evo9 and more than 3 minutes with slowest cars xD
I personally just started my NFS Heat but I got the RSR and I personally found to start with just super track suspension (as I'm only Rep 23 at this time) but did races 300+ races with a friend when my RSR was only 195
Imo learning how to drive the RSR at it's limit it's better to start the process without the multiple [5x3lb.] Nos bottles. It's entirely possible to run a sub 2.30 race on sonic w/ the big shots. Once you've done that & you're running a consistent time it's time to change bottles & learn when, where & how many (+refill marks) for that faster time. Currently my fastest time on Sonic is a 2.28.80 with the big shots & a 2.27.03 w/ the lil shots. Btw great vid Trigger, thank you for giving me more worthy competition! Can't wait for the dualshock death grip races I've been wanting!

can someone link the disc? idk where to find it. also the turn at the bottom of aerion can be a half-drift turn, you don't need to stay on the pavement, you can take the corner through the flag and save at least 2 seconds.

this is easier with the NFS payback system oinstead of the NFS heat one shot system
