California is getting all the rain and clouds right now 😭 I’m enjoying my Argentina Summer since I missed out on Cali Summer coming here during Winter in July 😅
Thanks for the look at San Telmo! It looks like a very artsy part of the city. Like you said, there's a lot of intricate art in hidden places over that city it seems. What a nice way to spend a Sunday. Thanks for sharing!
Loved the vlog, thinking about moving to BA soon. I’ve been considering it for a while. Can you tell me how safe, you feel, there? Also, are there any beauty supply stores? Hair braiders?☺️💕
You have a travelers spirit like me ❤️ Follow me on IG so I can give you more advice and tips in DM my IG is @Christy.rd3 For a short answer I do feel physically safe but sometimes I feel unsafe vlogging or taking pictures on my phone outside since there are a lot of snatch and run of cellphones and cameras here (it doesn’t happen in all neighborhoods but it does happen) a lot of locals have warned me about people getting robbed also. I feel much more safe and comfortable in San Telmo than I did in Palermo. But like I said I don’t think someone would hurt me it’s more about getting things of value that can be sold for money. I’ve looked for beauty supply stores but none sell Black hair products. So far none of the countries I’ve been to have sold Black hair products in store (I traveled around Asia the first half of 2023 then moved to Buenos Aires for the second half of the year). It’s best to bring your beauty supply stuff with you I stuffed my luggage and do my hair myself
I was wondering what the name of the drums were too my travel amiga just commented it’s called Candombe and was introduced by Africans in Uruguay the neighboring country right above Argentina
I love the aging in the history of those buildings you can tell they were made to last forever
I’m so amazed by the buildings too just in total awe all the time
You out there living your best life the weather looks beautiful beats this Cali weather

Is a very safe city
You won't find many black oriented beauty products or hair salons, the black community isn't very large here
