Stick the strap through the center then you do stivk it back theough the top section and that way you can pull it to tighten it without having to ratchet it 😊💙 your mom was right on how to thread the ratchet strap. She just needs one more step💙

You could probably save that battery if you just let it charge and discharge over and over for 2 weeks I managed to save the battery in my 944 that way save me $200 it's a 30-year-old German car so there are other places that money can go

I'll give it a shot! I try to keep and recycle everything. I wasn't ready to give up on that battery, but I needed a good one for our short vacation... more to come!

im having a tuff time with installing a battery back into my 2000 gtp, any tips for sliding the battery back in there? it wasnt too too bad to remove the battery but its difficult tryna get these weird angles and try to force it into the armpit of the car. did you have to remove the fuse box or the coolant tank? my back is killing me tryna put this back in 😅

I removed the cross brace that connects the fender to the radiator support then the battery falls right in. I believe they are 13 mm head bolts. Pull the two on the radiator side, then loosen the one on the fender side and the brace swings out of the way. Drop in the battery and done. Oh and make sure it’s the right battery size too.

@@BuffsGarage thanks for the reply, i did all that, I actually was able to install it like 3 years ago but I can't remember my technique, I just remember it was hard then too, this time im not too sure what the problem is but it isn't going in as smooth as it came out of the car this time. I took it out to get it charged at autozone and now im trying to put it back in the car, I will try again later today, was just wondering if I was missing something this time.

@@enoshmortal3789 if you’ve done all that it basically drops in, maybe wiggle it a little as it goes in.

@@BuffsGarage go ahead and get a contactor while you are at it. Those are the cheapest parts to keep on hand and save a HVAC service call. Unless it’s the compressor, then I hope you know a guy… the heat is merciless on those parts.
