Agreed. He genuinely helped pass so much positive legislation that never got picked up in the media cycle, because policy is boring. America had one of the best post-pandemic recoveries in the developed world, and the cost of living/inflation crisis wasn't even really his fault, it is and continues to be a global phenomenon due to huge supply chain shocks. Hell, America even got inflation under control much quicker than other countries (I'm not American and even I'm jealous), and the non-partisan Fed did Fed things so that aspect is outside his control. Incumbent governments have been wiped out globally through really no fault of their own in the last year or so, so it was always an uphill battle to get Dems winning the White House in 2024. The biggest stain on his record was to run for re-election and that was admittedly a very selfish thing to do, but his actual governance was really quite good (aside from a few qualms around immigration). Biden is the last of an older generation of politician, unlike Trump. He's not a great marketer - he's never been great at communicating his policy accomplishments and isn't savvy with new forms of media to help amplify his message. Bro just represented his constituents, helped pass positive legislation for all Americans and attempted to govern rationally while in public offices, for almost 5 decades. Have a good rest, Sleepy Joe. History and I will remember your presidency fondly, even if others don't right now in this age of hyper political polarisation.
Perhaps Biden is the 21st Century version of Jimmy Carter? An unpopular president who is remembered for his flaws as president but also a good human being? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see
I am not a Democrat, but you have to feel bad for him, he had been in poltics his whole life, was the youngest senator and when he finally won the presidency, after all the attempts he made, he becomes a 1 term president, known for being old, with his successor even losing the popular vote. I wonder if he had become president earlier in life, probably could have been a goodish president, but alas, only a 1 term president stuffed between 2 Trump terms.
He came out as a winner overall now if Kamala won he would only have been known as the white guy between Barack Obama and Kamala Harris now he can claim he is the only one that beat Trump and temporarly stopped the MAGA agenda
Biden would have been comparable to Obama or Bill Clinton. If it had not been for the blunders that made Michael Dukakis the Democratic candidate in 1988, a Joe Biden Jesse Jackson ticket in 1988 would have been a good duo. Jesse Jackson witnessed the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. so Jackson was no also-ran in the civil rights movement.
I don't want to make this too political, but they guy has gotten more done with a split-congress than many presidents get in two terms. We have a perception that he didn't do much good, I think, but if you look at historic economic patterns, the handling of the post pandemic economy is one of the best economic jobs in the history of our country. (if you want key words, "inversion of the yield curve")
4:15 people think he’s “evil” here, but in the context of the question asked that response is so good. What an incredible final clip to represent his presidency.
As someone who lives in complete disbelief of any politics of any kind, I'd like to think I have a somewhat neutral view of this situation; and what I see is a nice man caught in a crossfire of polarized fear mongers - a man who gave his years and years of life in dedication to the public service and welfare of his country who ultimately was just being used by his party. He was clearly not fit for office anymore and does need some deserved rest.
It's funny how, during his presidency and his run to be re-elected, almost everyone made fun of him and said that he lost his mind. But in the end, we all understand that he had lucidity peaks and that he was capable of doing legit funny things and to control the situation by making some very smart moves like dropping late and endorsing Kamala to avenge himself. Now I understand that in Ethel Kennedy's funeral, he was manipulating and making fun of Obama right in front of him. He knew Kamala wouldn't win : "She's not as strong as me". Truly, now that he quits political life, more and more people will like him.
To speak from an oppositional view: As far as I can tell from readings a lot of people in the Trump camp including Don saw Biden more like a boxing rival, with actual HATE and ENMITY reserved for Obama and Kamala and Hillary. It makes sense Trump and his fans would soften a lot after Biden backed out and was so gracious with the election results.
I’ve always thought this song was perfect for Biden to sing, I’m glad you thought so too. I’m also glad you included footage of Biden’s legislative accomplishments. Those are my favorite aspect of his presidency.
I'll actually miss this guy. Despite some people not liking his presidency, he still was a good president and would be better if he came in office earlier. He is a wholesome and nice dude in the surface and got done dirty by the party when he got dropped out of the race. I feel like we'll kinda miss him a few years from now. I hope he has a nice and peaceful retirement
He would have won in 2016. He was much sharper back then. I don’t think he was as bad as a President as Republicans make him out to be, but his foreign and border policies were his downfall.
his past might have been questionable, but even if i'm biased. It's sad how he was kicked out like a dog and his presidency has been overly criticized (even if rightly so for some parts). He has redeemed himself a bit in my eyes and was able to trip over the DNC. That deserves a salute. he was able to free himself from all the manipulation even a bit. He looked much better in his last speech and far happier in the meeting with Trump.

I definitely wouldn't wanna be in his situation but I can definitely say he's made the best out of it. He'll be remembered well once this stuff comes out.
I feel so bad for Joe. Literally couldn’t imagine losing my wife and my daughter and then continuing to be in politics. Losing 2 presidential primaries and then forgoing 2016 because of Beau dying and Obama favouring Hillary, only to get there when he quite clearly was past prime. Even then, he was well intentioned with his policies such as bailing out the union pension funds and being the genuinely the only pro-union president of my lifetime by joining the UAW picket line. Legislation was bold with the American Rescue Plan, CHIPS, IRA, antitrust action. I just hope the dems nominate someone who isn’t out of touch like Hillary, but someone down to earth like Biden and Bernie.
I look at Joe and see a nice grandfather. I used to be very against him until I saw how the Democrat party was just using him as a puppet, so President Biden decided to go against the party. You gotta respect how the man went down with a fight. I hope he and Trump can get together with Obama (and maybe Bush) to play some more COD or Minecraft.

In a speech at the American Institute for Stuttering gala ~8 years ago (shockingly few people know Biden had a bad stutter his entire life, which is often mistaken for cognitive decline), Biden said one of his favorite quotes from William Butler Yeats is: "Every conquering temptation represents a new fund of moral energy. Every trial endured and weathered in the right spirit makes a soul nobler and stronger than it was before." I think that fits this song very well :)
While I don't support a lot of his policies under his administration, I still gotta hand it to him for all the work he has done ever since he entered the world of politics. It's a shame that the polarized media tends to not cover some of the more impactful things he did as senator and president, and him entering the presidency at a really late age did not help as well. But I will still remember him for being one that served his country well despite his flaws and issues. Thank you Joe, the tripping, fumbling, and sleepy Joe, for everything.
I feel like in 15 years, his policies and their effectiveness will be on full display. The infrastructure bill and CHIPS act will define his legacy in the long run. People hate him now, but they will miss him.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see
Yeah, Joe is a real one
I love this, almost makes me miss him already
I am not a Democrat, but you have to feel bad for him, he had been in poltics his whole life, was the youngest senator and when he finally won the presidency, after all the attempts he made, he becomes a 1 term president, known for being old, with his successor even losing the popular vote. I wonder if he had become president earlier in life, probably could have been a goodish president, but alas, only a 1 term president stuffed between 2 Trump terms.
Obana was full hypocrit corpo leech. Biden at least wanted to get out of afghanistan early.
@@rufusmainwaring3513 history will validate biden as a great president who people did not like while he was president

4:15 people think he’s “evil” here, but in the context of the question asked that response is so good. What an incredible final clip to represent his presidency.
I’m Joe Biden and I forgot this message.
Probably more like "I'm Joe Biden an dudhejjdh... Anyways"
Whaaat i have done i forgot myself🗣
"I'm Joe Biden and auhdliad... this Neil Kinnock guy writes some solid speeches I should use them.
I'm Joe Biden, and after the election, I finally remembered this message.
How I'll miss you Joe.
yuuri would definitely like joe. they both love sleeping and eating sweets
Absolutely, just hope everyone finally leaves him to his business
perfect summary
"Dedication to the public service" is the only bit I disagree with.
Why is the Joe Biden AI video making me emotional 😭
Joe got played dirty by his own party , now he knows the same taste Bernie was served.
I'm starting to think he may have known this was gonna happen in 2020
To speak from an oppositional view: As far as I can tell from readings a lot of people in the Trump camp including Don saw Biden more like a boxing rival, with actual HATE and ENMITY reserved for Obama and Kamala and Hillary. It makes sense Trump and his fans would soften a lot after Biden backed out and was so gracious with the election results.
@Tom-h9j7f Nobody is saying that. You are the only one liking your comment
At least he got the last laugh over his corrupt Democratic puppet masters.
He would have won in 2016. He was much sharper back then.
I don’t think he was as bad as a President as Republicans make him out to be, but his foreign and border policies were his downfall.
bro why is this unironically pretty good. I keep listening to it
Im actually going to miss him.😢 He was so funny to watch.
To laugh with him or laugh at him? 😂

How would y'all like Trump singing "Thats life" by Frank Sinatra?
yea
Yes
Please do
Yes
no 😭 i jst dont wanna hear about him as much as i can, i dont think many ppl want to for the time being, great video btw!
his past might have been questionable, but even if i'm biased.
Goodbye joe. Enjoy your time in the retirement home with all the chocolate chocolate chip ice cream you want. You’ve earned it for all the great memes you’ve given this nation.
Ngl, i never liked Biden, but upon hearing this song, i instantly started feeling the bad for how they treated him, im glad he gave Trump a hand in the shadows, i now give my respect and admiration towards him 🫡
I definitely wouldn't wanna be in his situation but I can definitely say he's made the best out of it. He'll be remembered well once this stuff comes out.
Face it bub
Americans are *Bias*
Same
I like Biden more than people like Obama and Kamala.
He didn't give Trump any help anywhere. Why would he give the only man he hates help with anything?
Bros the embodiment of never giving up
50 years in politics and made it to the white house
even when falling apart he kept doing his job
Life is as it.
1:27 that’s crazy
What he do there?
he took “each careful steps” up those stairs
2:25 this clip hits hard
Simply magnificant 😂
I got goosebumps when this speech came up because I knew the original audio and I knew it wasn’t the song 3:13
I'll miss you, Joe. History will be kinder to you than we were. Thanks for all the good times
He was a sad bitter lying politician from day one, he is NOT liked by Whitehouse staff or his campaign staff.
Bullshit
I’m a bit confused, what do you mean by “against his own party”?
@@IronSharpensIronOfficialA common assumption is that the original plan after Biden dropped out was to have an open primary, which Biden screwed over by instantly endorsing Kamala and causing her to be the Democratic nominee
@@IronSharpensIronOfficialhe decided to last second endorse his vice president, a women he knew was unqualified to even be vice president, for the election. The Obamasphere was delayed in their enforcement cuz they didn’t want her. But he screwed them over. He did it his way. If he was out, we would make sure he was the only one, who beat Trump.
He has a good singing voice for this song
I’m not the biggest fan of Joe but this is such a good tribute made me smile
This guy repaired so much damage, and battled his own failing health in a cruel presidency that has taken its toll. See you round sleepy Joe.
he repaired nothing youre deranged, economy tanked under him lmfao
It's a shame most of the work he did will be reverted :( but still, he tried, and for that, he's a hero in my eyes ❤

I’ll miss you, Joe. You will be looked back on more fondly in the future, I know it. You will be looked back on like Jimmy Carter, disliked at the time, but remembered well in the future.
Great video. Finished watching and was like “hm, I wonder what else this guy makes?” And then I get jumpscared by lethal company. You have earned a sub, peak gaming
biden was trumps #1 supporter
seems like a nice grandfather, wouldn’t mind him as mine.
Blud is getting their hair sniffed
Immediately we all love him again. Presidents are so much better once they’re out of office. 😂
There's a special quality to this CERTIFIED BANGER, now that Joe Biden's demonstrated his "way" of oath-breaking and son-pardoning.
this guy dedicated 3/4 of his life to politics, to our wonderful country. This man is amazing, he is the embodiment of the American people. I couldn't be more proud to have this man service our wonderful country for 52 years. God bless Biden.
2:30-2:35 that Beau Biden footage was honestly heartbreaking.
Good video man.
“What is a man? What has he got? If not himself then he has not.” Made me think of dementia
A part of me felt sorry for him. It was like he was a puppet dragged along. It seemed to me a fog was lifted from him as soon as he announced he wasn't running again... I don't wish him ill. Hope things get better for us all.
I wish more people like you and there were less pieces of ykw in this world
Now this is what AI was made for
Fantastic!
Thank you for serving your country, Joe Biden 🫡
“We smiled, we laughed, we cried. it’s been a good run Joseph, it’s finally over my friend.” -Obama
Brings a tear to the eye.
Poor guy. Atleast he achieved his life goal of becoming President.
Politics aside, I love that even though we are critizing him every time but at the end of the day people still love him like a grandpa
The redemption arc of the villain before it all ends is always one of my favorite tropes.
He tripped, he fell. He ate ice cream. He did it all. God bless him.
Saving this video to share to friends in January.
Poor guy, if only he was 20 years younger 😞
a main character with imperfections
this was phenomenal.. Farewell, Uncle Joe.. Its time to rest..
This is pure gold
Thank you, Joe. 🫡
Perhaps I was too harsh on you
when he wanders off with that glazed stare, you can almost hear the ice cream truck music playing in his head...
Thank you Mr. Biden.
You did your best and only wanted greatness for this country. May god bless you, and may you have a well deserved rest.
May you have all the ice cream you could ever want. You did your best for your party and that was all that we needed.
Thank you.
You can say what you like about Biden, but as Americans we can hold onto the fact that at least he wasn’t lactose intolerant.
the only president to like ice cream more than bill clinton
In a speech at the American Institute for Stuttering gala ~8 years ago (shockingly few people know Biden had a bad stutter his entire life, which is often mistaken for cognitive decline), Biden said one of his favorite quotes from William Butler Yeats is:
"Every conquering temptation represents a new fund of moral energy. Every trial endured and weathered in the right spirit makes a soul nobler and stronger than it was before."
I think that fits this song very well :)
2:25 caught me offguard, didn't expect to feel this
While I don't support a lot of his policies under his administration, I still gotta hand it to him for all the work he has done ever since he entered the world of politics.
WE LOVE JOE!
Now have him sing Lincoln Park What I've Done because I keep getting that meme where he turns back to the camera and then it says directed by Michael Bay with that song playing.
