Question, if you're trying to attract a new audience to a new channel. What's the sweet spot time limit you should stick to? Say you're vlogging a project that takes a long time to complete and you're including time lapses and some monologs releasing weekly videos. I am having a hard time with keeping the audience engaged in the video. Do people just want talking heads more then to see the work itself? Average view duration is low even though in my opinion it's high quality editing and video and audio.
@@dvdaltizer2 definitely channel growth. Part of that is consistency but I just hired some editors to help me close the gap there and enable more space for me to grow
Another new creator here. The thought to think about the thumbnail and then the storyline and also to limit text or at least not duplicate title ... especially helpful to me. I reviewed my "Home" feed to see if there was consistency in the thumbnails that persuaded me to click. I like the authentic, "this is the topic" and found my eye goes to a good/interesting photo AND the visible description. Thanks to both of you for this video.
Really needed this right now. I have watched a 1000 hours just on thumbnails alone and this one really stands out! Time to go apply what you have taught!
I’m wanting to start my vlog at college and I’m brand new to vlogging but I cannot decide between the DJI pocket 3 or the DJI action 4. I do value durability but the pocket 3 is compact and the picture quality is amazing so I cannot decide at all. Most of my vlogging is gonna be done indoors and outdoors and I just recently subscribed to adobe premiere pro which seems complex but I’m learning it a little day by day.
thanks so much Jeven for this video it was an eye opener for me. It's great to see @davidaltizer thriving in his new profession. Keep up the great work Dave!
I removed my shorts and started a 2nd shorts channel. Shorts viewers aren't necessary the same as a long viewer. You can either keep both on the same channel and know that some viewers will only watch longform and some viewers will only watch short or you can split and create one longform channel and one shortform.
Great video. My thumbnails have definitely evolved. My aim is to make them relatable to people starting their fitness journey. Thanks For the video ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽any feedback from fellow commenters is appreciated

That's a great thumbnail. It stood out so good!
YOU stand out Faruk! 😍
Thanks so much for having me on Jeven!
Thank you both, this helped me as a new creator so much!
@@AVtothe7thpower What are some of your biggest struggles at the moment?

Thank you both for this video, it's very informative and I really like how you explained the relationship between the thumbnail and the title. 👍
You are both creative and logical, I enjoy learning from you, thanks
Love how simplified you've both explained thumbs. It's a hot topic and can be overwhelming. Thanks!
This content was gold! Nice job with the collab! I fail in a lot of these areas. Good info!!
Am I the only one that don't find thumbnails that big a deal. I follow creators and not their thumbnails...

Nice thumbnail ... definitely caught my attention! 😊
I really struggle with thumbnails. Thanks!
Great tips for better thumbnails. Thanks for sharing.
This was a great video BUT I went to his 'thumbnail channel' and it has one video with nothing to do with thumbnails, am I missing something?
Great video as always. Thanks Jeven🎉
Thanks guys helped me be mode focused overall 😊❤

Great video!
I uploaded short and long videos into one channel. The viewer rang on short rather than long. How do I solve this problem?
