    I love DIY and tricks to get the move you are looking for etc. I love your old videos where you show creative ways to use tripods etc. Jordy, I remember a long time ago on a video when I asked you what DIY ment. I had never heard about it before. I have used cardboard under my tripod to make it into a slider/ dolly and I'm still using that technique sometimes. I have also used those smooth cotton things you have under chairs so you don't scratch up the floor. It works really well :-)

    I am all about DIY and micro Budget film making what other Film making hacks do you guys have? My Favorite is using a Starbucks cup sleeve to use as a lens hood

    For led light gels, I use colored plastic binder dividers. It works really well if you're on a budget!

    I'm using that sun hood hack! When we were filming screen tests the other day I could barely tell if my actors were even in focus it was so bright! That is gonna be soooooooo useful!!

    honestly i really like this kind of video.
    It gave me a lot of inspiration how to work around the not existing camera and filming equipment for good effects with low budget

    Back in 2009 when I started to get into videography, sliders, steadicams, etc were sooo expensive and lot of us low budget film makers would try DIY gear. Now in 2020 sliders and gimbals aren't expensive. Easy to acquire

      Had my first paid event shoot recently. I knew my photographer (first shoot as well) would need a diffuser for the camera flash, I made it from a foam plate, but the way I cut the plate I doubt people could really notice, nice round edges lol

    these are actually some pretty great DIY techniques apart from the microphone holder that doesn't really work for a shotgun it kind of works for normal microphone although it will mess up the polar pattern.
