Thank you for sharing this trip with your wife. I'm 45 years old and never drove a motorcycle before. I was thinking about a TW200. I'm in this part of life needing some space and travel. I'm a backroad guy also. So your videos are helping me with the bike model. How fast can you get on main roads withh all those packings ?
We able to go the speed limit on these roads which is 55 with all the gear we were carrying. Granted there were some ares where we could not maintain that speed but overall it was not an issue. I would not have wanted to try to go any faster, In my opinion the TW is not a highway bike at all. It will go 65 but there is nothing in reserve and on hills it cannot maintain 65 even empty,. You basically become a traffic cone out there. 45 is really the TW's happy spot for max speed, 55 it can but but i think that is pushing it.

I run the stock 14/50 ratio
I've screwed up a lot of my moto audio as well :/
