- This guy was a character can’t believe he’s trying to sell this zx6r off as a perfect running bike. Decided to upload the video even though we passed up on the bike to teach people what to look out for, so many people out there trying to get over on the less experienced.

Just found out the bike was stolen and recovered last night this dummy gave me the address to his house and let my wife film knowing the bike was stolen. Smh these thieves aren't smart at all. So happy the original owner got his bike back. Sucks it had to be in this shape. Don't do drugs kids.

1. When you test rode it, he was halfway down the street trying to watch you.
2. How paranoid he was when that car stopped to talk.
3. He said "there's another dude coming to look at it in a half hour" then proceeds to say "if you want to give me a little bit less for it".

I even had one seller talking all loud on his phone while I was looking at a car '' YEAH, IT'S HERE, COME ON BY AND LOOK AT IT '' lol , it was probably his wife calling from inside the house.

I’m glad you didn’t fall for the bullshit he was trying to shovel to you. At the beginning of your video he said that there was nothing wrong with the bike… I’d be pissed traveling 3 hours to check out that POS. I’m glad you passed on it. With these gas prices he needs to be up front with people instead of saying there’s nothing wrong and the noise in the engine is a socket.
Ya the guy was hoping I was some inexperienced young guy lol you already know bikes are our life. So happy I didn't buy this bike!
And to say there’s a socket in the engine sounds fucking terrible coulda said the piston or something but a socket in the engine tf🤣
I went to look at ninja 250 2+ hours away. Claimed 4k miles and nothing wrong it. Get there and it has 14K (big difference when it was supposed to be 4k). And the bike had no key, no gas cap, and hotwired. Claims it runs but no gas in it, so i had him put gas in it. Doesn't start, didn't even get to the point of asking to see the title (doubt he had one). Completely wasted my day on that one.

Dude... The motorcycle community is one of the most honest and helpful I've ever been a part of and this guy violates every rule we have. Riders take care of riders. Glad you kept him honest and are teaching other riders things to look out for. And it's really awesome your family is so involved man.

Are you kidding? The motorcycle community is toxic and these people are either macho a holes or drug addicts with not much in between.
People that ride these types of bikes are generally bad people that are no fun to hang out with and have the personality of drug addict.
This guy is a turd and is especially bad but most of the people that deal with these types of bikes are trash or worse. The okay ones are on their way out and selling their bikes because of kids and realization that they made a bad purchase because there are only a few places in this country I would own a street bike and I am guessing you don't like in one.

I'm a veteran that struggles from time to time with staying positive and not getting dragged down and my motorcycle is therapy and I can tell you and your family love motorcycles and I just love how positive yall are and it helps uplift us watching. Never trust a bike that is previously used for stunting. These bikes are usually dropped more than the ordinary. A lot more pressure is normally put on these bikes
I agree I knew I was taking a chance seeing that the bike was preciously a stunt bike but wasn't expecting the entire bike to be trash lol it's all good it's a part of buying used bikes.
Wow! You really dodged a bullet on that one. I'm going to be buying a new sport bike and a new car in the next year or so and this really opened my eyes up to what could be out there. Definitely going to have mechanics inspect both!

I’ve always been a gullible person. It took me until I turned 30 a few years ago to realize that so many people lie so much of the time. Thank god that you knew as much as you did before you came to look at that bike because so many people would have just bought it if they had the money because they are excited about getting a bike and would already have the money.

Bought a Miata with a knocking engine that was masked with thicker oil, bad cat, fluids that haven't been changed since idk when, and a hope that a buyer that didn't know any better (myself) would come along. Nothing, but praise to you for doing due diligence and showing people how to deal with shady private sellers without putting yourself or your family in a compromising situation. I was looking for a stunted zx6 so I could learn tricks and not ruin my new zx6, but I saw this f4i and went to check it out, the forks were bent, the seat was held on with zip ties, the motor was slowly leaking, the fairings were cracked and that was just what you could see on first glance. Even after I pointed all that out the guy still wanted $4500 😂 I didn’t even want it at that point so I was like yeah I can’t go higher than $750. That way if he said yes, oh well I can drop the bike a bunch and if I get a couple months of practice out of it, it’s not a big loss, but I was glad he was offended at the offer and that was the end of the story lol.

Old timers trick. Take a long handle screw driver with you hold the handle to your ear and place the blade on the motor. It acts as a stethoscope. You will hear everything coming from the motor.

The cracked frames are normally resulting from adding extra or additional frames for protection when the bikes go down. In installing these extra framing wider holes are usually drilled into the original frame and as a result the original frame will crack.
Definitely information I didn't know appreciate the info I'm new to stunt bikes as I love my machines to much to destroy them. If I were to get into stunting it would need to be on a very old cheap motorcycle $500 or less I would never use a bike like this to stunt unless I'm Jason Britton status.

What exactly was dropped in the back? A wrench or a bolt? It was hard to hear. I dropped a fender screw once in the back of my Gen 3 and removed the entire rear end to get it out lol. I have a video of it. Also what did the person in the car say? They bitching about your test ride?
The guy said a socket fell down the muffler and he said that's what was making the knocking sound. And the guy in the car was telling me that there was police down the street and to be careful.

sounds like a good deal considering the bike has little to no miles on it. I would look over the entire bike check for damage , start it ride the bike go through the gears listen for any odd sounds make sure no smoke is coming out of exhaust. look under the bike while it's running make sure no oil leaks or coolant leaks. good luck with the bike as I stated the bike is so new and has low low miles you should be just fine.

Any ideas what a 1999 ninja zr600rr would be worth. Runs good. Needs paint or swap existing plastic and tires 6 years old. Probably not safe anymore. They only had 300 miles when I parked it. Oh yeah, odometer reads 8k or so. I'm in Michigan. I don't know if that matters.
Your bike in running condition with a title should sell for around $2500-$3000 hard to put a number on it without seeing the bike but that's my estimate based off your comment. stay safe

This happened to me last year. I was looking for a 1996 Honda Cr250 which is a pretty in demand and rare to find. Description said it was all gone thru and ready to ride. Drove 2 hours and the bike was totally beat. Air filter rotten, pipe all dented, flat worn out tires, dented rims, bent bars. Grips and cables all just worn the hell out, plastics all scratched to hell. Totally beat and put away with zero maintenance. They used old photos of it when posted.

I've just owned so many bikes I was forced to learn how to fix everything watching TH-cam videos helped as well
I noticed he doesn't know the bolt/screw sizes of his bike. I think that's kind of strange if your bike was with you for that long (judging by look of the bike)

I bought a 2009 ZX6R 55,000 miles on it and it had some red flags, some glue near the stator, some missing bolts for the seat when I had just pulled up and it didn’t start right away, I test rode it and it rode good all the way home, as I got it home, it had a coolant leak the next morning and oil, I fix the coolant leak, but not the oil, and like a month later the bike died on me on the freeway found out the stator was bad, so I bought a new stator and sold it for the same price I paid and saved like 7K and bought a 2016 GSX-S1000 abs hasn’t caused me any grief yet
