Here’s a super success story in following Dr Berry’s and Nisha’s advice: I managed to slip into my wedding suite I’d worn 34 years ago for my daughter’s wedding last week ☺️🙌🏻

Have bone-on-bone arthritis in my left hip. Had regular PRP treatments and rolfing done on my hip to keep me from pain and limping. Been carnivore 1 year. Pain gone entirely. No limp. I walk and work out to strengthen my musculature. That's it!

Honestly since I eliminated sugar and drastically reduced all the really bad carbs the greatest and most noticeable results were loosing weight and keeping it off plus no more pain. No joint pain, no knee pain and very occasional back pain.

Thank you Dr. In 4 months I’ve lost 33 pound on OMAD and off my insulin(80 units at night plus 40 units when I eat). I hope that in one year I would have lost all my weight and restore the use of my pancreas. Neuropathy feels a lot better. I want to stay alive for my 8 year old child. I thought there was no hope but with your advice and I see it working. I am happy that there is hope and my child can grow with me as long as I put my part. Thank you so much. Best wishes for you family.

I had been following Carnivore Diet. I have chronic kidney Disease stage 3. In two months my potassium level dropped from 5. something, now down to 4.0
I am going through a hard time right now. I have been reduced to living in my car. Almost 2 week's not following our WOE. I should be stable again real soon. I stay connected to your videos and my Facebook groups. I continue to stay away from sugar and starches. One thing I found out about this woe. I used to drink coffee with powdered creamer. Since this woe. I can only drink my coffee black. Even though I had to abandon this woe for this period of time. I am totally carnivore in my mind. I count the day's until I am stable.
I am so grateful for finding these groups and all the doctors that support this new way of life...
I am a huge fan of both of you !!!

Hi, Neisha! Hi, Ken! It’s so good to see y’all. I’m sorry to have missed your live tonight but I’ll be sure to share this on my FB wall for anyone curious. Oh, my. That event in September sounds AWESOME and I’m sorry to have to miss it. My honey and I have gone Ketovore (me, mostly Carnivore) thanks to you. We are doing so well but we have a woodshed to build then fill up with wood. I’m SO relieved to hear about your virtual summit! Thank you, Keto Chow, for sponsoring it! Aw! Your poodle is so loving! Yay, Baby Bonnie! Thank you so much for this excellent video. With regard to the lady who has lost hair on the Lion Diet, I can tell y’all that my hair is regrowing like CRAZY! It’s awesome! Just tonight, after massage, our masseuse commented how much weight I’ve lost and asked the amount. I avoid the scale. My body is utterly changing in its composition. I’ve trimmed my nails to the quick and man, they are growing like crazy. I love that “Ghost Those Cheetos!” “Forget that 💩”! Yep. BBBE is so satisfying. ‘Was cleaning out my freezer today and found several baggies of blanched radishes (that I used like red potatoes for stews and soups), but nope…I just wanted to junk them. I simply don’t want veggies any more! “LOL…GOOSE GREASE!? 🤪”. Thank you so much for explaining the higher than normal fasting blood sugar. Yes! That’s so cool Neisha. Good for you for refusing the GTT and accepting the CGM. Me! I used Keto to lower my HbA1c from 9.1 to 5.0 in four (4) months and lost 40 pounds!

I get cravings right after eating (dinner usually) when I don't eat enough. Do you tend to notice your cravings after small meals? Chugging water and having a little salt also helps me, but usually eating till I'm full works the best as simple as that sounds.
Another thing I noticed about myself is that when I'm bored I get hit with cravings.

  • @sanautin
    @sanautin 2 ปีที่แล้ว +13

Yep, sure, proper food is expensive.....but so is junk food.
When I eliminated fast food, chips, candy, processed packaged foods, fruit, I can easily afford the best beef, butter, bacon and eggs I can find. I can also easily afford shrimp, oysters, and salmon.
AND, with IF and OMAD eating a proper human diet becomes even MORE affordable.

In 5 months my A1c dropped from a 6.5 to a 5.0 while decreasing the amount of meds I was taking to control blood sugar. It's been about 8 months now and I stopped all diabetic medicine. My blood sugars have been holding around 90. Down 80 lbs, reversed my carpal tunnel syndrome, and recently clear up a skin issue that I was dealing with since Aug of 2000. This was with hyper carnivore so carnivore probably would have lead to even better improvements.

What do you recommend we eat if the meat supply is gone due to food shortages? So many farms have been “catching on fire” and I am concerned for the future. I have honestly been buying lots of canned fish but also have a lot of canned beans/veggies/dried beans in case we cannot get food from the store anymore. I would love a video on food prep storage items for this diet in hard times

I did lower my A1C from 6.7 to 6.0. That 6.0 was when my weight was down by 48 pounds. I felt super amazing. Then sadly I got off track, eating too many of the wrong foods, and have gained back 22 pounds and my A1C went back to 6.7! This way of eating definitely works, but you do have to hang with it!!!!! Like they said about the Cheetos (or kissing your ex) just get immediately back on track. I’m trying to do that now. ☮️

In the Houston, TX area there is a company advertising whole body scan, even a virtual colonoscopy... called Advanced Body Scan. They only test with super CATSCAN, and give the patient's the scan and they must find Doctors on their own. We are interested and checking them out soon.

Dear Dr. Barry; my brother in law is over 100lbs overweight, however he was just diagnosed with pancreatic & stomach cancer. I've been on Keto/carnivore and I know that it is a healthy diet. My concern is whether he can handle the fats & creams etc. I don't want to suggest something that may cause him additional pain even if it would prolong his life. Please advise. Thank you & keep the videos coming.

I am watching the replay and I want to thank you for the encouraging words to the person that ate the cheetos. I was following someone else and confessed I ate the cheese cake. That person was very unsympathetic almost mean. And of course I stopped watching that person and stopped the patreon to them. I get some much info here and it's fun to watch and laugh with you guys.

I suffered a tibial plateau fracture right leg a year ago February, and surgery march '21. The Dr says I now need a knee replacement because my knee is buckling to the left, and unstable. I am still dependent on a walker (I am 49 years old). Will the Carnivore diet help my leg/knee to break away from the walker, walk normally, and avoid knee replacement?

I’ve got 9 years of knee problems under my belt, recently my inflammation was pretty bad and it caused my muscles to stop engaging correctly and it would buckle all the time. My dr prescribed an anti-inflammatory but I switched to ketovore instead of taking the meds, 95% of the pain is gone and my muscles are working again! I’ll start attending Physical Therapy and hopefully will continue to not need surgery!!!

Just started carnivore. age 49. Choles: 336 mg/dl, Trig 164 mg/dl, HDL 42 mg/dl, LDL 261 mg/dl. Typical daily eating: breakfast 2 beef patties, 4 eggs. dinner: ribeye (16oz) or NY strip (16oz) and 4 eggs about 4 tbls butter. Also, going to be getting a CAC scan in a few days too. Any and all feedback is appreciated. Forgot to add I'm taking metoprolol. From reading more into this meditation, I think this is what raised my triglycerides. And it lowers HDL?
