"A classy gesture" was what you called that empty rocking chair, with the late Roy Orbison's guitar on it. But it was also a classy gesture on your part to stop the video then, and talk about the unexpected emotion you felt. But as usual with HarriBest, you didn't have to describe the emotion -- it flashed across your face the minute you recognized the voice and the empty chair. Well done.
@@Sportsref13 I haven't read all the comments yet, but I think I remember that Bob Dylan couldn't make it for recording one of the songs, but was included in the video afterward. Was it this one?

I grew up listening to all these guys and now that I'm 70, this song resonates with me to the bone. I do my level best to live every day like it's my last one. One day soon I'll be right. No regrets.
Only Jeff Lynn and Bob Dylan left now, RIP. George, Roy and Tom, thanks for all the music, all legends in their own right, all gone way before their time, as legends often do.
Harri, that drummer in the video is Jim Keltner. He played regularly with the Traveling Wilburys. Incidentally, he was one of the members of John and Yoko's the Plastic Ono Band as well as he played some with the Plastic Ono Elephant's Memory Band. Tom Petty said in an interview that they invited him to be a Traveling Wilbury but he is so humble and has so much respect for those legends that he refused to be called one of the Traveling Wilburys and instead insisted he be referred to only as a "Side Wilbury"
Absolutely love this song! Thanks for the great reaction. Very touching when you stopped the video and shared your emotion about seeing the rocking chair when Roy Orbison was singing. Awesome tribute to him. This is indeed a Super Group.
The rocking chair with Roy's guitar followed by a shot of Roy's photo in a frame. It's about life being a journey to the end of the line which is waiting for all of us. The guitar on the chair gave me a warm feeling because the song was a respectful tribute to a friend.
Yes, Roy had passed before this came out, that's what the rocking chair with the guitar is for, that's Roy. That's why I said this song was sad but beautiful.

Orbison was only 52 when he died. It was very unexpected. Roy's life was often tragic, on a Greek mythology scale. I was glad he found some happiness with the Wilburys before he passed. They recorded the vocals before he had his heart attack ~ Mrs H
I really enjoy that you go in "raw". It makes it more genuine. "Can you imagine those 5 all sitting around a table together, and writing a song?" I can, thanks to the behind the scenes documentary. Roy Orbison spent a number of his early years growing up in Wink, Texas which is only a few miles from where I grew up and still live. His career was taking off while I was still in school, I remember him singing with his small band on our local TV station. They were called "The Wink Westerners", and made a fine group.
