Superb japanese made DK24, Basswod body, Custom Bare Knuckels. Allthe tones and playability you would expect from a Japanese Charvel.
Lovely playing. I love Rick and everything he's done for the guitar community. I wish I could afford to snag one of these!

Sounds sick. I've been wanting a Charvel for a while and everytime i've seen someone play a pro mod its always sounded sonically amazing on clean and distorted, Charvel are really knocking it out of the park as of late. Great playing, unfortunately my wallet says no at the moment , but this vid has increased my urge to buy a pro mod!

@@juankmarte4046 it’s pretty much the same. Possibly slightly deeper but n the middle , like a deeper C. Profile.
@@damonthegnomeoftonechivers thanks, from what i know it seems a little thicker from the 9th fret to 24th. Which for me seems a more comfortable neck
Appreciate your videos. Not too many demos of the "R.G." out there yet. Really tempted to get one, not fond of the mark-up but the bareknuckles sound great, and humbucker sounds plenty hot enough.
The singles are very glassy and defined. The bridge Humbucker is quite mid heavy. I think a pad pro in the bridge might be a good addition

S0me of the necks are flamey? They do differ form one guitar to another. Only one model at the momemt.
You’ll probably find his was/is a prototype so his might have a flame neck
How are these tones being recorded ? Could you please share with us your signal path ?
Hi mate. Thanks for watching. It’s guitar into a Focusrite ISA one preamp. Warm audio wa2a compressor, warm audio Eqp Wa pulltec style eq. Both as inserts. Focusrite Clatet into Ik Ampiltube.

I have a Mexican pro mod dk24 and it’s a brilliant guitar. Plays like a guitar 2x the price. I’ve got to be honest when I tried Ricks signature i barely felt any difference between mine and his. I definitely wouldn’t pay an extra £1000 for it, i’d rather get 2 pro mods !
Hi Alex. That’s fair enough. The extra cost goes into things like the stainless steel frets and the Bare Knuckels, plus the biggest difference is of course that it’s Japanese rather than Mexican made. But I think 2 pro mods is also an excellent idea 🎶👍🎸thanks for watching
MIM Charvels have spotty build quality... I've had 5 of them... MIJ superior on all levels
Thanks for this demo! I am on the market for similar axe. What are alternatives for this guitar what you can think of? In the same price range.
US Ultra Luxe Strat? Or an Ibanez Prestige I guess? This has the bespoke pickups designed by Rick and Tim at Bareknuckle, so if that's the tone you're adter then this is the one for you!!

it will...but only a little...good for Beck, not so good for VAi!!
