Tone like the who in 1969
@@michaelbugler9452 now that’s a compliment!!! Thanks dude
Nice. Can you use the headphone out to connect this directly to a regular input jack of a guitar amp? (using a 3.5mm to 6.3mm cable?)
you could yes. Be best into the return of a loop as you will have the amp model on the Micro going into the preamp of the amp. Whereas into the return you would just use the amp as a power amp.
@@damonthegnomeoftonechivers Thanks!
You could probably make any old shit sound good mind
@@Jamesp1972 why thank you! Making shit sounds good for 30 years !!😝🎸
Check the tuners. I had to replace mine with schallers. Now its perfectomundo!!
@@marvo10 yes mate. Agree, the one thing that let’s cheaper guitars down
Rockabilly is rock music
Just........
The rat was designed to play rock N roll!
@@viperBSG very much sooo…..but also much much more 😁👍🏻🎸
I was hoping my wife would think that I was more manly because of my guitar playing. Did it work for you? She currently thinks that I play guitar well, but that I'm aan in the closet homosexual. How did you get comfortable with being a homosexual?
I really have no idea what you are talking about.
With the string lock it DOES NOT matter what the headstock looks like. Flappy/tighters strings??? nope
Whaaaaat................you are a genius
@@damonthegnomeoftonechivers all strings are floppier because the string is fixed at the nut... as compared to the strat, beause the string continues past the nut and is tighter. The longer the string, the tighter.
you still have this guitar? The frets gets darker with use?
@@brucedickinson8993 hi mate. No I sold it soon after this vid!
@@damonthegnomeoftonechivers thanks! you plays very well
@ thanks mate. You are very kind 🎸👍🏻
How does the emulated speaker out work, is it just a usb from the amp to pc?
No. If you use the emulated out it silences the speaker
@damonthegnomeoftonechivers okay cool, but I mean is it just a usb cable from the amp to pc? How do you make it play sound on the pc?
When i listened to this demo, the unaccompanied playing was very good, but when you start playing with the backing tracks your playing just leveled up, that was cool to watch, like a motorcycle going from first to second gear, very cool!
Inspired playing
@@michaelbugler9452 thank you soooo much!! 👍🏻
Necks are to flat. U pushing against all the tension. Unlike 7.25 or 9m5 radius. U bending up and over way more easy to bend & feel. But good video
It;s too flat with two oo's I beleive.
What is it like to bend with a flat neck. 7.25 9.5 u bending up and over rather than pushing against all the tension cos of being so flat good video
love this fckin guitar
@@ichal8554 hell yeah!!👍🏻
I played one yesterday....trying to not go buy it today...but I think it will be my first hollow body. (semi)
I've owed this one for a year now. It only has one real drawback and that is the tuners. It is struggle keeping it in tune. So a little googling and off to Reverb I went, apparently the Gotoh SG381's locking tuners will fit this guitar without drilling holes. But I won't know for sure until I order them.
@@darrendanger6853 that’s a good point though. One of the things that lower end guitars suffer from is tuning stability. I often change them in my guitars. 🎸 an out of tune guitars is no use to anyone!!
Check the tuners are bad on mine, stripped!! Replaced them with schallers. Now it's perfect!
A master! 🔥

Great video and amazing playing !! Thanks for shedding some light on these underrated beasts! I’ve got the silver one and on top of the fact you just showed their versatility, they’re also very comfortable and easy to play
@@TheUlesifah82 thanks dude!!! You are very kind. These are really underrated for sure, and surprisingly versatile.
How does it compare to G2622T? I'm torn between the two as they both are into my liking and within budget. I understand the key differences are in the pickups, electronics, and the neck.
@@DimasDwinovanto these are quite low output and vintage sounding
Hi, can you play loud and fendery clean?
Absolutely. A very compelling and engaging clean sound it has.
hardest decision ever, white or blue 😢
tasty fusion ❤
what were you playing at 14:05? Amazing demo. holy smokes you're amazing. This is such a great demo! Love the big body guitars, but the 22 has richer sound. Can't go wrong with either of these!

This is a magnificent amp. I have the EVH Eruption Frankie relic model, and it produces the most ripping sounds ever through this amp.

..The Streamliner G2622T looks the same as Double Cut Electromatic which costs a bit more. Which is the superior Guitar . . . ? .........................................
I’ve always wanted Gretsch to come out with a guitar that has a Filtertron in the bridge position and a Dynasonic in the neck position. I recently bought the G6636T. I absolutely love it, but a Dynasonic in the neck position would have made it even more perfect. 😊❤😊
@@mariodriessen9740 that’s a killer combination
Are they crafted in Indonesia?
Expertly by Indonesias finest luthiers
from my research ....................the white one gets Louder , BUT loses a bit of balls after 5-6 ....While the Black stealth retains its tone, but just not as loud. CORRECT?
Stealth is the most compressed and overdriven, whereas the White is a tad more open , maybe thats why it sounds louder. A semi driven amp will sound louder than an all out searing distortion. Thats why rock bands are louder than metal bands I believe!!!
@@damonthegnomeoftonechivers that makes sense. but to update........... i bought an invective, dissatisfied, then bought an early 2000s red stripe bandit, upgraded to a dv77 and a swampthang. .with no pedals its incredible & as brutal as can be. yet does classic rock so good and so Tube like, I wont be looking at amps for a long time.
Can i put dynasounds or something with similar sound in my G5230T Electromatic?, dyna sounds sounds just amazing. The G5230T Electromatic has black top filtertone.
Hi dude. different sizes I,m afraid. I just built a Tele and put Dynasonics in it. They are the same size as P90's, so any Gretsch with P90's should take retrofit Dynasonics.
I just ordered mine same exact one thanx for the demo u rock sounds great just what I was looking for
Killer guitar for the money
might pick one of these up in the same color you have, looks very nice and sounds good
They are wicked value, and play and sound like a much more expensive guitar.
ugh, what i would do to have this guitar again
You should absolutely buy one dude!!
i should but they're hard to come by nowadays
Nice playing just seen one for sale $500 "Stupid Deal of the Day" marked down $200!
@@RUSTY-A-L do it!!!😂😎
Man that’s huge sound
@@nomadicrecovery1586 it’s a whopper
wow you mastered lead improv at pretty much top level. amazing playing. I been playing over 30years and still have hard time thinking about target notes and chords changes all at same time while playing. I get lost too easily. Any advice for me?
@@vracan thanks for the kind words . I think that playing over one chord vamps, and real hearing how each note, or interval sounds is key. So hearing the difference between playing a major or minor 3rd over a dominant 7 chord for instance. Then add 9’s/6/ 11 etc …..then the tension notes, sharp and flat 5/9 etc. that allows you to hit ‘sweet’ or add some tension, then you can hear to resolve. Every triad/arp/scale / substitution is just a selection of tones and colors over any given chord. Then move on to two chords, and hear how what your playing changes as the next chord comes along. I like to see if I can change chord by moving the note I’m playing up or down one fret. It’s worth learning a few key licks from some of your fave players , as they will be using tones/ arps/scales/ phrasing that appeals to you. But make sure you know what they are doing and why it sounds that way. I have certain ‘concepts’ and licks I use all the time stolen from Hendrix/Jimmy Page/Gilmour/ Robben Ford/Van Halen/Larry Carlton /Oz Noy /Benson etc. Playing over something all the time is essential as then you can hear the color the tension and release etc. And there are no shortcuts really! You gotta hear it I think. Like you I’ve been playing for 45 years and still feel like a beginner, and practice every day. Good luck and feel free to ask any other questions. 👍🏻😎

do you like the color? some of the interweb photos makes it look greenish blue?
@@PurerockSmokinBBQandMETAL Yeah I like it. Porsche made sportscars in Miami Blue. If you search for that you can see a lot of photos of that color. It has a unique tinge to it. I guess a bit greenish blue.
I couldnt tell which is which. lots of good lead playing, but as for comparing them. I have no idea which amp you were using & when.
