This is a wonderful guitar. For several years I didn't like the feel of Fender's Charvels. I've collected 80's japanese models for a while, but a few years back Fender finally nailed the Charvel feel again. This one quickly became my number one.

I saw this gutiar on display at Swee Lee. It feels great. I liked the neck profile. For me, it’s quite comfortable to play with. And the output jack is quite unique as well. 👍🏼

Having gone decades without...I recently scored a DK24 with a Floyd...HH...mahogany body in dark amber quilt...and a Charvel Warren DeMartini Snakeskin SD...the same week!
I have a Pro Mod DK, mine is the Gold SSS model and the only thing i dont like are the pick ups, i really wish they were a bit more vintage sounding but i fell in love with the Gotoh 510 trem! It is currently my favorite trem system!
Another fantastic video. I was able to try one of these about a months ago and instantly fell in love with the neck and how it fit my hand. Love the color and finish. I am a traditionalist in terms of guitars (Strat, Tele and Les Paul guy) but I really like this Charvel and the flexibility of sound it offers. Your playing is just amazing Jon, so much so that I'm going to try this one out at my local shop (they actually have one!).

The bendings were before soo difficult and stiff, I did everything I didn't figure out, until I saw the nut was so narrow cut, and maybe wasn't sliding well too, I sanded this tusq nut, and It's awesome now! I liked the guitar it's pretty good for $150 and sounds very nice. Nice playing!
I watched a video of someone reviewing a HB Fusion T 25th who also owned 2 high end Charvels, he was extremely impressed with the HB model and although he thought it wasn't as good as his Charvels he thought it was very close.

I got one of these, really good worksmanship and features. Fretwork and attention to detail is almost usa/japanese level, hardware is the same, while price is .half

I’m a complete sucker for a red or cherry guitar Jon 😂😂 this one’s a beauty. The sounds are exceptional especially that humbucker so rich. I love that truss rod position. Wonderfully played too. 😃👍❤️👏👏👏
The lick at 03:43. Fantastic playing and you found your groove superbly here. Not particular inspiring looking guitar which is same ilk as those Suhr and Ibanez AZs but this sure sounds good and the Gotoh 510 is probably the best of its kind. HSS is the most versatile configuration for sure but speccing the Full Shred is a weird choice. Nice demo still, appreciate the work you do.
DK24's are bangin' guitars for sure....one of my favorites actually. The only hangups I can think of, is that the 1st string is too close to the edge of the fretboard....I guess that would be the string spacing right? which is about 10.8 from the best I can gather? Also, I feel like that full shred they stick in the bridge?... that thing is just too overwound or something lol I pulled it, and threw a custom 5 in there? that really changed it to my liking...hell yes! As of a couple weeks ago, the tremolo arm has gotten more play in it now?.. which is bumming me out? ... can u buy new housings for that arm? or? if u know, shoot me a mesg if u could. It just sounds nice, not as harsh as the Tom Anderson guitar, and costing less. Maybe it has nickle frets; I wonder if the T/A guitar has stainless steel frets?
This guitar is definitely not my cup of tea. For the same money Shijie offers many better choices, in my opinion. Superior quality, and more bang for the buck. That being said, Jon is truly an amazing guitarist, and anything sounds good in his hands.

"Dinky" refers to the body. It's about 7/8 the size of a standard Stratocaster.
