And in a flash, Jabeur got railroaded in the third set. What Jabeur did to Andreescu last night, Pegula did to her tonight. The WTA is so unpredictable nowadays, lots of depth and talent in the top 50, heck probably in the top 100.

Pegula's technique and strokes look so effortless and she's pretty tough mentally as well. She really has a lot of upside in her career.

Some ppl says that tennis is 90% mental and 10% tallent . I pretty agree with this. This match is a perfect example of this. This was Jabeur’s match . She could have won 61 64 or even 61 with a tie break . However , she lost her focus and was too soft and lacked a little bit of focus when it was the time to show no mercy and finish Pegula to close the match . Even though she was more agressive, moved a little bit better and was more creative overall .When she lost her focus 🧘‍♀️ she completely lost the control of the match and start to make a tone of ue .She kind of let herself go after loosing the second set instead of forgetting the disappointment of the second set , fighting and staying positive .Props to Pegula for her comeback . In the case of Jabeur, if she continues to improve mentally and physically I think she’ll become one of those players comfortably in the top 20 , who constantly gives hard time to top 10 players or even becoming a top 10 player herself ..

Read EVERY comment - Asking & Saying why A player lost is Way different than why the other WON. A pro Athlete win or lose is day to day. When on an even level.
Jessica is raising Her level. let's not confuse increasing ability with A bad day or bad moment. I am sure going forward EVER player Jessica beats ahead of her on the WTA list will be a bad day for them & not anything to do with Jessica's play -- Right??
I am glad to see Ms. Pegula do Soo well in representing Tennis, USA & BUFFALO N.Y. her friends & Family --- Let's Go !!!!! = Go BILLS !!! Josh Allen gets very little respect also Jess. Wear the BADGE with HONOR. TY Jess.

The fact that she lost the match when she was literally 2 points from winning it...
You can tell she was really nervous, and she let the pressure of potentialy reaching for the first time in her carrer a semi of a 1000 masters take control
Ons problem is her mental, it's so weak
She really needs a mental coach if she wants to win big tournaments in the futur
    She played an implacable match
But she ruined a big opportunity
    she needs a mental coach
THIS IS A MUST JABEUR ! we fans been saying this since 2018
Your mental is weak and it always been
And it's a well known fact
    WORK ON IT !!!!
But overall we're proud of you champ
