    MOUNTAIN DRIVING MUSTS:
    1. Down shift going down mountains instead of braking. Better for your car. You can spot visitors because their brake lights are always on.
    2. Pull over at the next available spot if someone is behind you on a mountain road. Passing in the mountains is difficult. It is VERY UNCOOL to drive slowly while someone behind you wants to drive faster, especially if there are a couple cars behind you. You might even get a wave and a honk!

    • @lancelittleton9802
      @lancelittleton9802 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is truly unbelievable how bad people drive in the mountains and RIDE/WARP their brake rotors. I rarely touch my brakes, just downshift to 4th on steep declines along I-70.

    • @StingraySativaCo
      @StingraySativaCo ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually what’s uncool is thinking that saving 5 minutes on your commute down the mountains is worth rushing someone who’s unfamiliar with the area out the way. News flash: you don’t own the public roads moron

      Colorado people never learned how to pass. As someone who delivers in the city all day i get tailgated by a line of cars even though the lane to the left of me is wide open. I've never experienced this before until I came to Colorado. Sometimes I drive into oncoming traffic and stop just so the dummy behind me gets the hint to freaking pass

    I crashlanded here in 89, Wheatridge, it was heavenly, could walk to my greenhouse job, made a lot of new friends quickly, it was really nice, then the Northridge Quake of 94 brought Californication. Pretty accurate. We have the best water in Colorado, because we drink it first 💧. As a native, I wear shorts year-round. In the mountains, I have replaced my roof 3 times in 20 years. I refuse to eat RMO's. I have never owned a Subaru, but my son recently got one. Getting stuck mountain biking in hail and lightning sucks!

    1. That it sucks overall
    2. Overpriced
    3. Crime and declining infrastructure
    4. Becoming California 2.0
    5. Crowded freeways 🛣
    6. High cost of living (not worth the cost benefit)
    7. Not very family friendly
    8. It’s “outdoor accesible” (if you drive 45-70 mins in a freeway and not touch traffic)
    9. Get a good car alarm and make sure you have a catalytic converter protecting shield -it will most likely be stolen. Also don’t park in the airport as it will not protect your car.
    10. prepare to deal with the homeless and the crazies. They have more rights than you, and he police will arrive 5 hours late if you get hurt…so you’re better off avoiding the issue all together.
    In closing, if your vibe is California/Portland/Seattle and you’re personality is being suuuper woke but not moderate. You’re passionate about the blueness to the point that your personality is Political science and you drink LaCroix and drive a Tesla….then look no further. ❤️
    also, denver folks are very prideful of their state and city so I expect they will respond with comments like “move out” or something similar 😂🫠🤷🏻‍♂️ (truth hurts).

    There is a major issue in Denver, CO. There are people who have some serious diseases; one being syphilis, which can be deadly if not treated. Symptoms can vary, seeking medical treatment is the best recommendation. People who have the disease should wear a mask at all times, especially when around others and they should not allow others in their home. Wherever the individual lives, will likely be hot and stuffy, which is not good. Some excrete green discharge at times, which affects the plumbing system and infrastructure. The individuals should use the bathroom in a landfill or where there is a septic tank, because of the toxins being released from their body. They have a foul body odor as well. Greyhound Bus transports a lot of individuals who have syphilis, employ them and they don’t even know it. Please seek medical treatment. Sex trafficking is on the rise in Denver, CO. No matter the age, women are dressing very provocative and inappropriately; they are wearing bikini bottoms to the mall, store, on the bus and etc. The work attire has changed, dresses are so short, you can see the woman’s panties, even if she doesn’t bend over. The climate has really changed in Denver, CO.

      Denver’s water tastes terrible. Now, I know why. Detroit gets tasty tap water from Lake Huron. Florida’s tap water is the best I ever had.

    Sounds boring for people who live in countries where hiking is considered boring or too obvious. Where are the upbeat, dancing halls in Denver?

      I don't know about dance halls but there are plenty of music venues to go shake your butt at

      @@SomewhereInColorado In dancing countries, dancing does not boil down to physical movements like shaking or swinging the hips. We dance at soul level, and this thrill usually materializes in body movements. Many European descents do not dance because they think it is only the body that dances.

      We allow this because "Everyone has a chance" to be rich or so they say , it's all lies to keep them in the money and us the people , in the poor.

    High crime ( think getting mugged before you can get into your apartment bad ) extremely high taxes including a colorado tax! There are tens of thousands of illegals here and the traffic! 2-3 hours or more spent IN traffic daily! Denver is a big sprawling place you will use a lot of gas here and gas is high 4.00 for regular. Food is super expensive. A coworker bought a regular sub sandwich at King Soopers grocery store and it was 25.00! Don't forget the high high rent. 1800 for a studio. You will work a couple of jobs here most folks work two or three jobs here and have roomates. Forget going to the mountains you will be too busy working to survive and if you do get the chance to go to the mountains you will have to compete for parking with the illegals and other out of towners. Don't bother going period on holidays it's elbows to a.... I-25 and I -70 traffic is horrible don't be fooled its bad EVERYWHERE in DENVER. You have tens of thousands of people who have never driven that are now here and driving. Druggies and homeless are everywhere. You wont be able to go anywhere without getting accousted for money. Groceries stores, gas stations, post office, every stoplight and corner and parking lot etc expect to be hit up for your money. Fentenol is an epidemic here. They smoke it on the trains and in the buses. If you break down anywhere in Denver you will have your windows busted, your battery and tires stolen. Insurance is super expensive here for obvious reasons. The food here sucks and is expensive unless you like fast food and it averages about 30.00 for two people. People are rude, tired and on edge here. Especially in traffic. So be prepared. People will try to hit you in traffic. In the winter they do not plow the side streets and the roads are very bad here. Think hundred car pile up bad. So many horrible crater like potholes here. You will go through a lot of tires living here. Plenty of nails everywhere in denver on the roads especially in Commerce City. The middle finger is state bird and the Colorado welcome.
