Working on door hardware and floor insulation Step 37

I have a similar floor insulation detail planned for my place, which is about 2 hours north east of you. I am putting treated plywood underneath and then putting wire mesh on top of that. The plywood will keep mice and insects out and the wire mesh will prevent porcupines from chewing the plywood.

I did have a few recommendations on plywood as well. I will try my plan first and keep an eye on everything. We will be in the house full time. My wife will hear any chewing, so the critters won't get away with it as long as we are there.
