Awesome informative video especially I have the same kayak. I like how it cuts thru the waves. Still on the fence on the bixpy or 3 hp Tohatsu. Keep it coming .
It’s always a good day when there is a new video on your awesome channel! Yay! Thanks for another really informative video. I still need to get a Bixpy setup for my Hobie Revo 13. It gets tricky in these parts (in the US in Maine) as I would need to get my kayak registered like a motorized boat if I want to affix a Bixpy. Seems worth it though, even if I will only be using it every once in a while.
Thanks for the comment! We don’t have the registering issue here in the UK thankfully. Would you mount the Bixpy off the rudder, or go for the ThruHull Pedal Drive Adaptor if you get one for your Revo 13?
@@CornishKayakAngler, I definitely think I will go with the ThruHull adaptor. I recall that it seemed to behave really well on your Revo 16, so I am hopeful that it will be a good addition to my 13. It will be nice to have a backup option when I end up going way too far on the way out and my legs decide they really need a rest….😂. Thanks again! Mac
That round storage area in front of the seat looks like a live bait well. Have seen similar setups and they are always referred to as a live bait well. You can pull the plug to let in water.
Is that you Nevets? All good here 😎 the Bixpy is a cool piece of kit, albeit expensive. Would make the Tarpon 140 nice and quick! If you have a rudder on your T140 it would be an easy install with one of the Bixpy Rudder Adaptors.
@@CornishKayakAnglerCertainly is buddy🙂 I have been out of yak for at least 2 summers. Hasn't stopped me wetting a line on the Fal though. I think the Bixpy may well become a 2025 yak project for me (wife permitting) 🙂.

I have just messaged cornwall canoes on their contact page about one. Thanks very informative.
Thanks Scott, glad to have been able to help get you set up with everything 😎 plenty of good times ahead on the water! 🎣
Liam, hope you are well?? Been looking at the Bixpy for a couple of years, just can't afford one 🙂Not seen one on a Tarpon 140......Yet.
