I bought my first condo in 2009 in Las Vegas and since then had 11 property's here. In some areas in the valley the prices have increased substantially. I see Las Vegas as a trendy place to live and attracts people to move here because of low property taxes and cost of living. In my opinion I think it's a great city to invest into housing and rentals(depending on area of course). I think the housing market made a good comeback since the recession and will continue to get better.
Las Vegas Locally Thanks man! It should be interesting for sure! I'll have to do another video at the end of the year to see how the local real estate market is looking
nice video! can you post some videos on the Schools out there. My wife and I are looking to get out our current state. Las Vegas is a place of interest
+Chris Tandy I will doing videos on schools. I plan to cover it quite a bit, but I have a big chunk of videos I have to work on before I can dedicate the time to cover such a large topic like schools out here
+Helena York I don't think you can really go wrong with any of those. I've always felt like just about the entire west side of the metro area was very nice. From Mountain's Edge way out in the Southwest all the way up to Providence in the Northwest. That is where a lot of the newer homes have been built recently. Subsequently, that also means newer schools, office buildings, job opportunities, shopping centers, parks, recreational centers, etc. Being that they're centered around Summerlin, all four of those are very suitable zip codes if you have children. As you look into your search more you can message me on my FB page for this channel and I'll do what I can to help point you in the right direction. facebook.com/JacobslifeinVegas-281682135353468/
No. There are plenty of people who move buy a home before they move here, and there are a lot of investors from out of state who buy homes. If you need some help with finding a place, then feel free to reach out.
JacobslifeinVegas Dang! 10% in 5-6 months??? That's insane. I think we had about that much of an increase up in Reno because the new Tesla plant is coming.
Yeah. This area was so down for years that's it's nice to see some growth....that Tesla plant up in Reno is going to have sizeable impact on the local economy up north
Sensei Ryan HD Im saying the US economy will have financial trouble. The average person cannot afford a tesla, and the pool of buyers will dwindle as the economy worsens.
Nice! I'll do more real estate videos in the future. Right now I'm working with an agent to help people who want to buy here, but in the future I'll get deeper into the topic
JacobslifeinVegas I'm actually going to get my real estate license when I move there I know the business isn't doing any LOL but I have other things to do and jobs to do while it is or while it's getting better
I looked at some house models in Vegas when I went in Spring, and I could EASILY make the payment on a house that is twice the size of my place out here in MN. It was incredible. And, when you mentioned that investors aren't getting the same kind of return, could that be part of the reason that FlippingVegas has been non-existent?
Sweetie i just know , asking agency ,,,,, crazy ,,,, you have pay yearly taxes from 2,5 mio dollars 50 thausend dollars taxes ,,,, honey its 500 thausend in 10 years that make 1 mio in 20 years ,,, i have many hauses around the world dont pay taxes for my first hause !!!!!!!!!! Nooo forget !!! Change the country :)))
1967SuperG I read last year that there were some local people in the real estate industry who felt that 2015 was a year of another bubble. It certainly hasn't happened yet. If it does happen in the next couple years, then you may hit it at the right time!
JacobslifeinVegas early 2015 is the yr to sell....we will see a large downturn in prices late 2015 into 2016. A downturn trend will continue as the bubble burst . Then the bottom is undetermined at this time. Possible extreme crash in prices for 2016-2017. Best bet is to prepare for this inevitability as increases in prices is unlikely.
1967SuperG Do you think we're in a time that qualifies as a bubble? I believe the median home price peaked at around $315k in vegas at the height of the real estate bubble. It feels like we're still quite some distance from that.
Merry Christmas Sweetie !!!!!
+Helena Jackline Thank you Helena! Merry Christmas to you too!

+ARMOPOWERX13 Yes. Living in the Midwest is the worst.

***** For what exactly, engineers ?
Sensei Ryan HD It is government subsidised, that said get in early and get out early.
1967SuperG You mean because Tesla will have financial trouble? Is that what you are saying?
Sensei Ryan HD Im saying the US economy will have financial trouble. The average person cannot afford a tesla, and the pool of buyers will dwindle as the economy worsens.

I see another bubble burst on the horizon I will be looking to buy in a yr or two.

1967SuperG I'm not so sure. We'll have to wait and see.
