Honestly I think pigtail got the most votes only because it’s so well known. It is a nice ride I agree. I think 7 through jasper to Russellville is better. Try 7 out of jasper headed to Russellville but take 374 to vender. It runs into 123, take a right to mt judea and 123 up to sams throne lookout from my judea. Beautiful ride. 43 from Harrison area to Ponca is nice too, take 74 to jasper and that’s nice as well. No bad riding roads so long as they are paved in Arkansas lol.

This is a great road but you need to watch out for wet and slippery, especially in the fall when the leaves are falling. I've had a lot of friends slide into the guardrail on top of wet leaves. It's an awesome road.

I finely got to ride the pig trail going to Bikes Blues & BBQ a few weeks back and it was ALSOME ! We accidently ran into War Eagle but glad we did that was a cool place that old bridge there was cool it was built in 1907. There is alot of history all over. Highly recommend going off the beating path and explore.

My wife and I rode the Pig Trail in March of 2020. We got a late start so over half of it was in the dark. It was freezing. 😂. We're hoping to go back some day soon to ride the whole thing in daylight. Clearly, there's a lot we didn't get to see. Thanks for making this video. I appreciate what you do brother!

I've run Ark 23 numerous times over the years all the way from where it splits off US 71 at Waldron, Ark all the way to the Missouri line, just north of Eureka Springs. The whole road is fun and amazing. Running from Fort Worth, we always go up through Oklahoma and catch the Winding Stair/Wilhemina Skyway into Mena, Ark then pick up 23 at Waldron. It has been the "Queen's" and my "go to" ride for decades!!

We ride it all the way to Blue Eye, MO. Have delicious pork tenderloin sammich at the little drive in there, then go on to Branson. Then the trip back to Texas we run scenic 7 back south to Caddo Valley, then shoot the freeway home to Fort Worth.

23 is super nice, but over rated. 123, 103, 341, 74... just some of the roads that are at least as good for the ride.
23 really shines if you can catch it with no traffic to hold you back. Feel lucky if you hit that opening.

Was disheartening to see closed shops in the towns you visited, it's the same travelling around rural Australia. Agreed. 123 is a workout! Not sure if there are any straight parts of it at times. Pavement is in great shape and there are ditches between you and the woods in alot of it. Meaning more visibility...
Hwy 7 is a great rip too. Cliff house has great eats and views. Sometimes we buzz it when we are flying the low level route out there in the herc.

Rode a thousand miles from central FL to AR in 2018 to ride the Ozarks and the Pig Trail . . . total waste of time. So So scenery and the road was full of pot holes . . never again. There are so many better place to ride . . .
