Dude i just bought one of these off of marketplace been looking for the slide lever for a half an hour. Had no clue! Thanks for the video i would of never known it did that!
You could use a bungee cord ran from the hitch head to a tie down in the bed or on the bed rail, but there isn't a purpose-built product designed to keep the hitch head stationary when you're not towing. www.etrailer.com/Fifth-Wheel-Hitch/Demco/DM8550024.html

Is there a way to keep the head from flopping back and forth when you’re not towing?

Thanks. I love this hitch but the thump back and forth when not hooked up is annoying at times.
