Couple of things I would recommend. One someone already mentioned, drill the holes from underneath if possible so you don't miss with measuring. Two, maybe I'm crazy, but I'd use some threadlocker on the bolts.

Can you remove the bolts and rails from the top with out touching the bottom?
What the pounds to torque
Why not just drill the holes from under the bed.

Drill up through the bottom save some time
There are some things I would change with the installation process. I guess every installer has their little secrets.....
