Watching a genius at on the Bass…there is no one else like Mark on the planet…a one off👍👍
Singing and playing at that level is insane! Technique is stellar
King is still a human machine gun. I grew up with them and will die with them. What a live band.
Well done, guys. That was a blistering 'Live' version of one of the band's most iconic early hits.
It's parent album 'The Pursuit Of Accidents' (1982) is still one of my favourites to this day.
Thanks for posting.
What a band! Legends!
🔥🚀
I really liked Level42
Yes, a brilliant band. 😁
Agree
The best sound I have heard a Kingbass produce!
Love Level 42. Wish they'd play some U.S. dates.
Remember my sony walkman in the 80s 90% 42❤
That’s phenomenal bass playing, mark is an absolute legend, 🔥🔥🔥🔥🎸🤙🏽🏴
Insane, totally insane bass playing! Mark King 🤴
Excellent! The best live performance of this band for me!
I went to see them live back in the 80’s at their peak. They were brilliant. 😁
"at their peak" based on what? Stevie Wonder still performs his old stuff flawlessly and these guys are no different 🙂
Just outstanding- as tight as a photo finish
Kisses from Brazil!! 🤩🤩😍😍😍😘😘🥰🥰🥰 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Absolutely Amazingly Fantastic Level 42'
Forever!
🇲🇨 love ❤ Level 42
Had a chance to see them 3 times playing live... It's so good to be alive.
Me too, got to hang out with them twice backstage, and the first time on the bus after the show. Fantastic guys, glad I got to meet them, and Mark was very kind and answered all my questions, and taught me how to do his machine-gun triplets. He is the reason I play bass today!
@@AmirFazadh I have one of his bass guitars :)
@@Venoza Too cool! Which one? I got to play one of his wine color Jaydees when he showed me his triplets.
@@AmirFazadh I also have one JayDee Pearl series III. And I have T-Bass - the new one that he plays. But I do have MK2-Mark King bass - prototype 3. It was actually his bass so he signed on it for me. :) The bass came to me the same day when my mom died and my ex wife left me. What a mixed emotions. But on the end of the day I had a bass of my dreams :) Life is funny.
@@Venoza Wow, that’s a pretty heavy day! I’ve had a similar situation, but it was a week. Glad you got through it!
I’ve been waiting for you to upload this one 🙏🏻👍🏻👏🏻
The full concert is also available to view on TH-cam.
Waaaa.... Speed machine... Fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤯
LEVEL 42 YOU ROCK! MY FAVOURITE.. AND GREAT BAND, STAY HEALTHY & BE SAFE AS ALWAYS. 💚👌👌👌💚
Simply incredible. The musicians musician.
We all know that Mark King, Skip Freeman, Nathan King, and Mike Lindup are righteous dudes. But Pete Ray Biggin is a BAD MAN.
ありがとうございます。🙂
Sukses selalu dari INDONESIA 🇮🇩🇮🇩

Excellent, 👍 come on, like to see if the young team could keep up with that! !!!!
How I wish I had been there . .
Bravi tutti, ma Mark :: a Real Lion !!!
Its well documented that Level 42 are regulary on Tour every 2 to 3 years but no sooner did they finish certain live gigs that were part of their cancelled Tour in 2020 which was " From Eternity To Here Tour " & 2 weeks , ago or more , they've already set up another Tour that covers the UK in 2023 & IF it looks finacially viable they will add in their usual Tours of Europe that they more often than not Tour Europe once the UK Tour has finished...
Now i haven't checked their Tour Dates for 2023/24 since 2 weeks ago but from what im hearing , the European Tour may not happen & this is down to it being finacially viable to take a 7 Piece Band On Tour...
The fact is Level 42 absolutely love touring & this has been shown to be true with their ongoing line up changes & even back in the 80s then toured insane amounts of live gigs & IF i remember correctly they were on Tour for nearly 2 years & this down to doing as many UK/European Tours & trying & finally be a success in America but those Tours were exhausting , yet they still did it & i think this was what eventually got to Boon & Phil , & though im not 100% sure that touting the UK/Europe & tgen America had seen both Phil & Boon physically & mentally exhausted & on top of that i heard that certain members felt they became too commercial & this saw them looe a lot of Level 42 hard core fan's that believed they , basically, sold out playing more jazz/rock for more popular aka pop songs...
In the end Bills need to be paid & im not just talking about the bands personal life style that saw them buy homes to live in & other such bills that every dsy people also have to pay their way through life but its the fact that Tours need to be funded & unlike decades ago they would have had new material to promote & this would see them playing in bigger venues but for quite sometime now they pick smaller venues to play in & although this appear soynd stupid but the lads from Level 42 need to know that these smaller venues have to see the tickets either sell out or theyve sold enough tickets to warrant going on a UK & a European Tour...
Though since this coronavirus hit everyone & everywhere around the world back in early 2020 & theres a strong case that states that this coronavirus pandemic started out in 2019 , which makes sense as it didnt just pop up out of the blue , but i digress , & now Level 42 feel that its best to announce extra tours that they used to do on a regular basis but many workers are taking as many shifts as they can to try & get back to paying off their bills that also saw everyday people around the world being hit by ongoing bills that thry couldnt pay for as they ended up out of a job over those first 2 years & it stands to reason that many Level 42 thatd normally go to see thrm Live , now cant , as they can't afford the tickets prices & for many this could these fan's not buying tickets to see Level 42 Live as they need thst money to pay for other bills & other such things that'll come before anyone thinks about booking a Level 42 Ticket!..
As i mentioned Level 42 truly love going out on tour & playing Live Gigs & have had this same attitude since they first stsrted out touring an insane amount of live gigs from the early 80s onwards but the landscape of how the Music Industry & Music Scene isnt what it used to be & , again , since they havr no new material to promote along with evetything else that costs a 7 piece band looking slightly ahead but not truly knowing until near the end of UK Tours IF they can add in those European Tours & delaying the announcement until nearer the end of their UK Tour & that way their European Fans wont feel left out , as it always comes back to whether any touring with the way everything has changed in the last 20 years can see Level 42 , at times , having no other option but to not play Europe or preferably add extra European Tour Dates & Tickets up for sale but only later on during their UK Tour is more likely going to be what happens with regards to announcing those European Tours also & i hope this is case & that Level 42 can tour in Europe...
That aside i actually wanted to comment that Mark has lost quit a bit of range & power within his vocals when singing but this happens to so many singers as they age & this is natural or like Level 42 almost Touring constantly isnt going to do Marks vocal delivery & though they tour insanely its best that at somepoint that he has a good rest & doesnt tour on too many live gigs , as this band have almost constantly been out on Tour & Mark & Mike will need to be careful that touring so much doesn't see both men but predominantly Mark fund him in a certain place that he doesnt want tk be in & thsts cancelling tours because his throat is acting up...
Finally , i can take it IF Level 42 postponed any tours because Mark needs to lay off singing too much for a certain amount of time & though ive stated its normal to lose some of your nstural ability to sing like they used to but its part a case of aging & part a case of touring way too much...
I do hope they Tour in Europe as its not as IF Level42 not wanting to but its down to IF its finacially viable...
In light of this still ongoing coronavirus and its variants stay safe and healthy wherever you are in this world...
.....
This is Cool.
Like the more Mid Tempo Versions Better...
ADJUSTMENTS TO THE BASS OUTPUT WHILST PLAYING AND SINGING - TOP DRAW 1
I got carpal tunnel just watching.
👏👏🌹😘
Hi in Rome when
👍❤️💪👌🙏🔥
I think this is a tad faster when I heard this in the 80s
Pete plays this one way better nowadays. Check out a newer performance to see what I mean.
He needs to. He's forcing the beat here and almost losing the rest of the band.
Is that kris Mack on sax? If not who?
Sean freeman on sax
Killer Diller.
killer
Too fast
The worst crowd 😒
